glory55
Here we go again........... New owners ...............are they any better??? ..................ARE THEY F**K!! They are SO out of touch with the supporters!! Its the same old story!! Im p**sed off to high hell this morning, the whole thing is an absolute nightmare! Forget the mutual consent.........they sacked him! They just got rid of the man who made Chelsea 'consistant'. Why now?? They should brace themselves for a serious backlash! I JUST CANT BE POSITIVE TODAY!! They are a f**king embarrasment!!! Another shambles! Kenyon OUT!!! Unrealistic expections...... ......We are on dodgy ground with Roman! Nibs
Kenyon OUT!!! That say it all for me. To be honest, I am not totally gutted about Jose going. He was always going to go sooner or later - he has admitted as much himself. He was never a long termer like Fergie or Wenger. But the timing is shocking and the way he has been undermined for a fair while now is also inexcusable. I hate Kenyon and all he stands for. He knows nothing about our club pre Abramovich and I wish he and his Global Vision would just f**k right off.
loz
Hold on though - on this particular issue why 'Kenyon Out' ? Why not 'Roman Out' Do you honestly think this was a Kenyon decision rather than a Roman one? Did we see Kenyon chuckling away when we conceded to Rosenborg or when we hit the post in the second half? It was at that point when I began to suspect Jose's days were very numbered which is why I made the post where I pointed out why I thought it might not be such a bad thing. In my mind Jose going is very much a Roman decision and not a Kenyon one.
glory55
Jose is a career manager,he was never going to stick around forever. But the way the club carries on! I know they dont give a sh*t about OUR support, which is so dis-heartening.... I just cant get my head around this mess!

Nibs
I really don't know Loz. I'm probably underestimating Roman - who really knows how involved he is on day to day matters or whether he just takes the advice of the likes of Kenyon. Can Roman speak English anyone know? All I know is that Kenyon is a slippery f**ker and I've never liked him and I don't like the way things are going since he became involved. That recent interview he gave was all about how we must win 2 CL within this 10 year period. He actually said we WILL win the CL, as though it was our divine right. Pretty disrespectful to the likes of Barca and Milan, Real Madrid and Liverpool etc. The bloke is a prize c**t.

Lofty
During my recent excursions into enemy territory (a.k.a the Liverpool Way) one of the few points of agreement between me and that lot was that Kenyon is a slimeball, an ugly bar steward with an even uglier soul. BLUENUT
Im will booo Avram Grant! We'll do it together! Who'd be a Chelsea fan hey? We find the best manager in the world, he wins back to back titles, with victories in Cardiff and the new Wembley makes it 6 trophies in 3 years - YES 6 trophies in 3 years, who would have ever dreamed of so much silverware in such a short space of time. He won EVERY domestic competition in 3years in English football, and we get rid of him. This can only happen at Chelsea! We have officially become a rich man's toy......its a sad day for Chelsea football club. You won't hear me sing Romans name ever again! AND I will NEVER buy another thing made by Addidas
The Moos
Don't boo Grant. Boo Kenyon, Roman or Arnesen, but don't boo Grant. I don't think it's his fault that Jos? left. Let's give the guy some support and hope that he does a good job. Then you can boo Roman for not letting Jos? do his job in peace. The only downside then would be that he might get upset and leave the club...

Loud and Proud
I wont be booing Avram Grant. I wont boo any Chelsea manager, player, stand in manager, owner etc, etc. The team needs us now more than ever and booing them will make things worse. Do we want to lose to United and Fulham!? Do we want to give every nothing team in the premiership the belief that they can beat us because even there own fans are on their backs!? Well i dont! We're Chelsea and we dont boo OUR team, OUR manager, OUR whatever! We're not Arsenal! Lets show the young Chelsea support how to behave by getting behind our team come rain or shine. I'll be there sunday and will be singing my heart out! UP THE F***ING CHELSEA!!!
ColeMan
I still cant believe this has happened, its a bloody disgrace, Jose deserved far better than this. As has already been mentioned, with regards to his achievements here, the bloke is a bloody genius. Where Abramovich thinks he is going to find someone else to replace him is a mystery. Another sad day for Chelsea Football Club.
coombsie
I have to be truthful and say I am torn down the middle on todays events. On the one hand, I have been chuffed to bits with the trophies, especially as I never dreamt that Chelsea would win the Premiership in my lifetime. 6 trophies in 3 years is a massive achievement. We have won all the domestic trophies in that time, some twice over, we are unbeaten at home in 3 years which is phenominal, so I take my hat off to Jose for these never to be forgotten memories. But (and it is a big but) I am not too unhappy he has gone. I've been a season ticket holder for many years and I have posted regularly over the last 18 months of my dissenchantment with the style of our football or should I say lack of it. In short watching Chelsea was not enjoyable. I've sold my tickets on Viagogo rather than watch Bolton, Watford, Blackburn, Wigan etc at the Bridge. Now that says a lot about the opposition but I was not enthused by the prospect of Chelsea winning 1-0 against this kind of crap. Other sides put them out of their misery, we never seemed able to. I suppose I'm in the pre Mourinho camp, Ranieri, Vialli, Gullit. I truly LOVED watching Chelsea. I could honestly tolerate the odd 4-3 defeat even at home.I travelled away from home and often saw us get beat, but I ALWAYS enjoyed it. I am still not sure JM was a great buyer of players either. He won the EPL with a team largely inherited from Ranieri. True, he got great performances from some of the under performers, but who did HE actually buy that was a massive success? Finally I was pretty fed up with the name he was getting for our great Club. I'm not saying I want to be loved, I just got fed up being hated by everyone, if I'd wanted that I would have supported Milwall or Man Ure. He seemed to revel in everyone being totall anti-Chelsea. If we truly wish to become one of the World's most supported super Clubs we cannot carry on behaving as we have done over the past 3 years. I'm basically a "glass half full" type of guy, so While I have a heavy heart today, because of the potential ramifications, I truly believe that this will be another exciting fresh start for Chelsea Football Club. Star
Not sure if this has been posted already:Open letter to Chelsea fans This yet again shows how out of touch Chelsea Football Club are with it's fans. They have underestimated this one big time, I remember the support the Bridge gave to Claudio Ranieri, well if the club thinks that made them take a short sharp breath, sacking the Special One will make them disappear into the distance. Kenyon is a lying, cheating, backstabber. Bringing in Grant, who Jose felt uncomfortable with, then to replace him with him ! Is the bloke for real ? They wanted an atmosphere ? They are guaranteed one now for certain. I can't see Roman sticking this one out i'm sorry. The team are on a hiding to nothing here. Mourinho's name will echo around Stamford Bridge for certain. There might be even a campaign from the fans to re-instate him - i've heard that rumoured today as well as a boycott for one match at a later date. Every time we concede a goal, every time we fail to break down the opposition, every year we fail to win trophies, his name will be sung, it's harsh on Grant but a situation for a man with a big heart and the bollox for this not to affect him, i'm sorry but he won't be up to it, but then again who would ? I'm delighted i'll will be there Sunday Be it Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea Jose Mourinho or my favourite as the bloke sits down in the directors box, which Utd and Chelsea fans can sing together ... Peter Kenyon is a w@nker is a w@nker It's one day the Mancs will be outsung on their own patch ( a throwback to the old days ) even if we do get stuffed on the pitch. Terje
Coombsie, your spot on. I also think that this could be a fresh start. And if its true that JT had a bustup with Jose, I think the board had no choice. If he had lost the dressingroom, then results like Rosenborg would happen again. Anyway Jose gave us lots of titles and I will always love him for this. And now to the things about booing Grant, PK and Roman. I think this is a disgrace! Grant needs our full support from day one, and without Romans money we would be in a completely different position. As to PK he is a businessman and is doing his job, simple as that! Players, managers, boardroomstaff come and go, but CHELSEA will always remain. Thats why I will never allow myself to let one person become more important than the club. What I would love to see at Old Trafford is banners paying tribute to Jose, and that the players also do this by beating Man Ure in style!
