Posted November 4, 200717 yr is really starting to pi*s me off...now that jose has gone we seem to be an after thought and like i said the other day increasingly on with small segments...granted we were on first after the thrashing of man city, but they had no choice...tonight we got five minutes over an hour into the show...another two good goals barely got a mention in post match anaylsis again an hour after they had spent ages drooling over the arse and man u...thank goodness for sky and football first...a good hour of highlights which show how well the team played (mainly first half)
November 4, 200717 yr Agreed, I looked at the running order on the MOTD site and saw how low down we were. Seems the media in general don't think we are a big club anymore now that Jose is gone. In the summer they were writing Arsenal off and now they're licking their boots clean. "We never doubted you Arsene, honest!"
November 4, 200717 yr What pissed me off was Alan Hansen describing parts of the Arsenal and Man U game that they were showing at that moment as "unbelievable, world class", when it was just an decent passing move, nothing more, nothing less. In the build up to Rooney's header that went wide he even described it as a possible goal of the season if that went in. WTF?? We played better than that in the first half against Wigan, but it gets barely a mention. To make it worse then Hansen decides to come out with, " Ferdinand and Vidic are the best defensive partnership in the league." Lineker looks a little surprised and says, "hang on, even better than Carvalho and Terry?" The f**ker still says yes. Ferdinand better than the England captain and 1st choice central defender Terry? Vidic better than Carvalho, a player who has been one of top defenders in the world for the last 5 years? Whatever you say mate
November 4, 200717 yr Still it was nice to have Marcel in our corner last night, here's hoping his appearances on MotD are more frequent.
November 4, 200717 yr Still it was nice to have Marcel in our corner last night, here's hoping his appearances on MotD are more frequent. I'm suprised he got asked back after his last appearance when we lost to Man Utd. He takes a little bit of getting used to as a pundit but is preferable to Alan bloody Shearer!! Best thing about last nights MOTD was they didn't make us suffer that God awful woman commentator. Hopefully they've learnt their lesson after that little experiment as I just can't listen to her.

Tell me about it, she is unbearable. I think the best thing about Marcel is that he doesn't tow the line, he just says what he feel and he gets up Alan Hansen's nose which is always good value.
November 4, 200717 yr Agreed, didnt think he'd be on again after the Chelsea v Man U game. He's a bit excitable but says what he thinks.
November 4, 200717 yr Turned on MOTD 2 a minute ago hoping to catch the goals in our game and who have they got on the panel. Graham Poll (i thought he quit refereing to be out of the limelight). They asked him about some hand ball decisions over the weekend including one with caragher and he makes an excuse for the scouse tw*t saying "where else ar his hands gonna be" dispite his hands being above his head. The guy irritates me so much, why cant he just piss of like he said he would ok rant over
November 24, 200717 yr Author another poor showing tonight....not only were we relegated to the graveyard slot again, but we had to sit through motson creaming himself over arsenal's laboured win over wigan...two late goals to beat a relegation candidate and it was like they were winning the champions league...when we won games like that last season it would be same old chelsea, lucky chelsea, scrape win at the death...for the arse it's more glory glory...made me want to
November 25, 200717 yr Author like i said when i started this thread weeks ago, i think the show has a real problem with us now...maybe when we play their beloved arsenal we'll be shown first again...at the moment we're being treated like we're as sh*t as fulham and not one of the big four with a chance of winning the title
November 25, 200717 yr It could be because the match was televised in the UK? Maybe they assume that many Chelsea fans have seen the match already so it didn't need a big slot?
November 25, 200717 yr Author no i doubt very much that's the reason...besides by that logic newc v liverpool would have been on at the end too...now don't get me wrong, it was an average match, I didn't expect it to be on first...my point is this has been happening pretty much every week since jose left so it's stopped being a coincidence in my eyes
December 9, 200717 yr Author I see Lofty added another thread on this, but I want to keep mine running as a kind of match of the day watch on our continual snub...yes we were on last again, just a couple of minutes squeezed in between the announcement of who won goal of the month and the league table being shown...maybe we weren't amazing against sunderland, but we are third in the table, three points behind arsenal...not in 14th...teams like blackburn, everton, villa have been regularly getting more coverage than us, it's amazing...like I said higher up, we will obviously be on next week when we play the arse, but this does seem like too much of a coincidence...perhaps someone at match of the day is a liverscum fan
December 9, 200717 yr I knew I'd seen this thread here somewhere but after waiting til the very end of MOTD yet again didn't have the patience to look for it. Different thread, same frustration/annoyance/irritation and so on. Of course the only saving grace about the red crap being shown first was that the bar stewards lost. And wasn't it wonderful to see their rampantly righteous indignation over that penalty shown up for what it was? Just another bit of whiny Scouse bullsh*t.
December 10, 200717 yr Author bet they won't get done by the fa for failure to control their players though like us..as for carragher, he could have given six away by now if the refs hadn't been on their side this season
December 16, 200717 yr Author tonight my gripe is not being on last it was the one-sided analysis...how pro-arsenal was that? even jt winning the ball against fabregas in what was a tough, but fair tackle, was seen as a terrible challenge...eh? arsenal didn't create anything until we pushed everyone forward, but that was seen as evidence of why they deserved to win...predictable but annoying all the same
