Ok...injuries and suspension derived us of the services of Cech, Cudicini, Makelele, Terry,Lamps, Drogs, Malouda, Carvalho & Ashley Cole( suspended), Sheva ( not that we really miss him much) and Ferreira?.. anyone else that i missed?

But Chelsea is really playing like sh*t. Against Newcastle and Villa, we struggled. Now against a poor Fulham, our play looked like a first division side.

There's no shape in our play.. No shape whatsoever.

Ben Taim and ballack do not deserve to be in the team while Bridge is strangely amateurish. Kalou is very very disappointing too while SWP, for all his effort, still has only a goal to his credit.

Sidwell was non-existent.

Given the current crop of injuries and under Mourinho, i bet he will have the reserve to galvanise the side.

Not Grant. He does not know what he is doing.

Frankly, i have no idea too, otherwise i would be the Gaffer.

I am frustrated at half-time. 0-1 down to a poor penalty and we hardly threatened the Fulham defence other than the first 10 min.

We need change... post-Avram and wet the transfer market again !

Huntelaar, Van Der Vaart or for me, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.

Need someone to pull strings in midfield too... Deco.

Alves for right back.

As for me playing golf and piss off from here... forget it. Happy New Year.

Mate, I would like to see what ANY manager in THE WORLD would do with 90% of their first team missing. the bloke has earned us some points that other teams may have dropped....who say's Jose would have done better (other than Jose himself?) it is all speculation.

Ballack not playing well, and you want Heselink?????

You truly are not the gaffer...thank God!

Scott

..... and ballack do not deserve to be in the team

I don't know what games you went to, but over the xmas period I would have said Ballack was one of our most influential players, from when he first came on as a sub in the Liverpool cup tie to yesterdays game.

have to agree - am getting pretty excited about Ballack at moment

Go back to supporting manure mate !

We are the Chelsea, we dont slate our managment or team, especially as we are currently 3rd in league on the heels of the leaders, and were also favourably drawn in the last 8 of the biggest club tournament in the world.

I sense that you really are a Arsenal fan just comming on this forum to get a rise out of all of us. PDT_nunu.gif

Hesslink, what would cause you to think of that guy!?

We like to have one preposterous comment every now and again on here.

So far we have had

G4 claiming the world domination is just around the corner for Le Tallec

Barak doing likewise with Milan Baros

Yours truly advocating Le Guen

and now we have the one that beats them all, suggesting Hesselink for Chelsea.

He has found his level in the SPL and even then there are quite a few people rightly questioning his all round ability in that league.

Gonna happen...

One thing I have to ask: Had this still been a team managed by Jose, would you be claiming that we "grinded out results" or "he's a fantastic manager to have done what he has done in the Christmas period with half the team missing?"

Honestly, the Christmas period has been tough for us, and Grant got us 10 out of 12 points. He gets ridiculed for being boring, but had it been Jose we would hear about "grinding out results." SOme people are so hard to please. I don't care how we got them, I am just glad of the points

Personally I prefer Kalou or Sheva compared to Huntelaar. He seems childish and unpolished. The Ajax games that I have watched, he has not made a positive impact for his side. Always shouting at colleagues when he makes a run and a ball is not delivered. And likewise he does not pick out the open man. A selfish child of a player that I feel would not make a positive impact at Chelsea.

All right.. it was a right result in the end.. 2-1. But what integrity there is for a gaffer to steal the credit from Clarke? I still doubt his ability. Even if we had Lamps and Drogs, we did sh*t against Arsenal and Manure. It rubbed salt into wound to think it was traitor Gallas with the doghound winner.

I am not interested in 3rd place - the 2nd place of the last.

We have won the league twice, Carling Cup twice and the FA Cup once, coupled with unfortunate champion's League semis(twice) and a quarter-final loss under Mourinho. We did not even achieve anything under Raineri 1st season with Roman's rouble.

You expect me to support someone with so little credit for a team with Champion's league ambition?

No way... He is not the right person but i am willing to give him credit for a tough Christmas.

With the ANC, we will be with Sinclair and Pizarro, both unproven yet at the highest level. So i expect tougher days and Avram will have a tough period against the best opponent because tactically he is not there.

I am here to stay as a Chelsea critic... see you at Hyde Park BackJose.gifBackJose.gif

This is a fansite forum to discuss Chelsea and other related football issues.

Critics are welcomed, but your not making yourself very clear, you say Avram did well over Christmas, but you slate him for losing to Arsenal and Manure.

You arent a very fair critic are you ?

We've all seen that Avram can beat the average teams, but we havent seen proof that he can beat the top teams and win the big games yet. We are not sure if he is a winner, like Jose was.

That's not the point is it.

The point is that this bloke, octville, is an idiot. The point is that he continually spouts drivel. Look at the first post in this thread, not only at the barely coherent content of that post ...

Ben Taim and ballack do not deserve to be in the team while Bridge is strangely amateurish. Kalou is very very disappointing too while SWP, for all his effort, still has only a goal to his credit.

... but also at the time this idiot made that post. He apparently decides that it's time to sack the manager because we're losing 1-0 at half time.

Got my drift?

Plus he'd rather go and play golf than watch the Blues make a comeback in the 2nd half. Puts him in n o position to be a critic if he doesn't get the full picture. They tell me ignorance is bliss therefore Octville must be ecstatic.
