ethicalstrategy
So, back to business in the Premier League on wednesday evening. Reading have proved to be awkward opponents for us one way or another in the last couple of seasons but we ought to pick up three points. Man U are home to Portsmouth whilst Arsenal are home to Newcastle tonight. It's likely that 3 points will only maintain the gap rather than close it unless Newcastle can perform a hell of lot better than they did on saturday. There were reports that Ballack and Sheva were back training with the first team squad although I don't know if either will be available for selection. Belletti is suspended. The team more or less picks itself: ---------------Cech Ferreira-----Alex----Carvalho------Bridge ---------------Makalele -----SWP------------------Sidwell Cole------------------------------Malouda --------------Anelka Subs: Cudicini, Cole, Ben Haim, Sinclair, Pizarro

ozboy
Sheva injured just when we need him. Didn't realise ballack was injured as well. What a bunch of crocks! Pizzaro didn't do such a bad job as the link up striker last time he played, certainly on the bench. We just can't afford any slip ups and I feel sure that just when it looks like we can get through the ANC a team like Reading will screw us. Sidwell to score. Malouda must be due another, but what a beautiful pass the other night for Cole's goal.
The Moos
I heard that Sheva was out for a month so he wont play against Reading. Feel sorry for him but still, we've got Anelka. Sidwell's done good but if Ballack is back then I guess he'll play. This should be three points to us but you never know. God, make my week and give us three points while ManU and the rest stumble and fall
Gulpje
God, make my week and give us three points while ManU and the rest stumble and fall Amen tot that. Gem
I will lose my Matthew Harding Stand virginity tomorrow night I usually opt for The Shed but I decided to give the other stand a whirl. Have we got any songs/chants/abuse ready for Stephen Hunt?
Gulpje
Did Hunt play earlier this season? I only remember last season, he was ready to play as a substitute but they didn't let him because of the very, very angry Chelsea fans...
Gem
I think he played the majority, if not all Reading games leading up to that one... so to drop him to the bench was clearly because we wanted blood. I love how they said 'it won't affect us/him'... then they leave him out

Have we got any songs/chants/abuse ready for Stephen Hunt? Well if you don't want to make it too difficult for yourself then why not try "You're a c*nt, Stephen H*nt". Simple and it rhymes. Or perhaps it should be the other way around? Start with H*nt and end with c*nt? I wonder if Sidwell can make us all happy and break H*nts leg? That would make us love him forever

Lofty
A little reminder: The 'keeper had the ball in his hands and was sliding. The No 10 [Hunt] can't go for the ball, so he goes with the knee and goes for the head. If he goes with a knee to the face he doesn't want to avoid him.#and from the Telegraph report: Mourinho was further incensed by what he saw as Hunt's laughter after the incident. callista
I know Reading have been a pain in the arse for us before in more ways than one but right now Steve Coppell is looking rather too closely for his comfort surely to the relegation zone - what are they 14th? They seemed okay at the start of the year and then everything went tits up for them, they either can hold off Man Utd or get tonked. For such a solid team last season they seem to now have an identity crisis. I think a win for us, Anelka to get on the score sheet again. The fact Sheva is out for me is immaterial since even when he was fit half the time you never know he's on the pitch even if recently he may have perked up a tad. Crossing my fingers Harry does the dirty on Fergie. Doubt Arse will get beat by Newcastle even with The Messiah at the helm. Seeing the post above reminds me how the press still harp on about Mourinho's comments even now. Some of the rants from journo's (especially in The Guardian) about what Jose said and how disgraceful he was after the incident you would have thought he had murdered their mothers. e!!iot
Does anyone know if it's being televised? I don't think so mate, Man Utd v Pompey is on sky. Unless setanta have it which i doubt.
MannyJello
i thought i heard the announcer during the Wigan match say that Carvalho picked up his 5th yellow and therefore would miss the next match. is that correct? If so, do we risk Ben Haim out there with Alex? or go with new boy Ivanovic?

Sky seems to televise it, but they just don't broadcast it in England. Canal+ gets its video feed from Sky and they're showing the Chelsea vs Reading match live. Apparently they show the Mancs and the Scousers matches too...

loz
No you miss one game but I don't think it comes into force until 5 days after the 5th card is collected (or something like that) hence why he can play tomorrow but not at the weekend. Alan
Cech Ferreira Carvalho Alex Bridge Maka Sidwell SWP Joe Cole Anelka Malouda (I'd prefer Grant to start Sinclair but the chances of that are very slim imo). Subs: Carlo, Ben Haim, Sinclair, Pizarro, A.Cole. 2-1 Chels.

Lofty
I know this belongs in the Video Streaming section but I'm getting a little confused with what's going on over there. Not that it matters, because to date there's a big fat zero as far as live streams go: http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=5421?=sports
