what if drogba were to quit chelsea this summer......whos the Replacement for me i would like to have Aguero or Benzema or both 317.gif i just hope that if drogba leaves in the summer we would sign talented youngsters not old players like shevchenko or pizzaro

Personally I'd go for Benzema who has impressed me no end in terms of what he can deliver on the pitch.

Franco DiSanto happy0034.gif

nah im just kidding...well not really. I'd like to see Huntelaar or Benzema. Maybe more towards Benzema becuase I've seen him play, not just highlights of him.

Zlatan!

OR

Eto

Come on, be honest. Chelsea need more female fans... icon_wink.gif

Seing that picture of Eto´o I actually thought of 50 Cent.

Oh, and speaking of Zlatan, he became a father a few days ago. His first son, Maximillian, now have a brother called Vincent. woohoo.gif

Not really.

I'd just like to go on record and say I don't agree with this sexist, and somewhat misogynistic statement.

Football may be a 'man's game' so far as playing goes. But it's a game for everyone (men, women, kids) so far as watching it goes. And while a stadium filled with families may not make for the best atmosphere, it's sure as hell better than the mostly male, tribal, and violent past the club had in the 70s and 80s. Football is entertainment. And like all entertainment, it should be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and un-stressed environment.

Besides which, we all know that everybody listens to their mums. And if the 'mum' in a family is a Chelsea fan, then you can be damn sure the next generation of the family will be Chelsea fans too!*

Honestly, I would be happy with any ONE of the previously mentioned Strikers. I really rate huntelaar, and his work rate is phenominal. Benzema is one of the stand out players in the French league, but so was Malouda. Zlatan is wonderful as a striker and with the ball at his feet but has a hell of an Ego. As a natural finisher, there are not many better than Eto'o; however, talking of ego's and all that he has said about hating Chelsea in the past, I don't think there would be many who would welcome him to the club

Therefore, the player with the most to offer, with the least baggage, is Huntelaar

You're more than enough.

Thought I'd put my full comment in your quote Brian, as you left the second part of it out.

I don't mind sitting next to females at a football match, I just pray I never have to sit next to you.

I'm sure you don't. But I think the question is, would they be happy sitting next to you.

Oh, and if you ever feel comfortable enough to stop hiding behind that thinly veiled misogynistic objectification, maybe you'd like to refer to the fairer sex as 'women' rather than 'females'.

I'd say they're just as likely to let Messi go... Bojan is not going to leave Barca in the near future.

One of the best rock n roll bands America have ever produced.

I think it's almost a given that Drogba and Sheva are leaving in the summer. Considering Pizarro's age and how poor he looked he's likely to join them on the way out.

That leaves us with Anelka and Kalou, who is not a pure striker anyway(Di Santo will need time). I can see us sign at least two more strikers in the summer.

Here are few options that may be available

Berbatov, Aguero, Benzema, Huntelaar.

This coming from someone who regularly posts photos of women in various states of undress, boasts of bedding girls young enough to be his daughter and refers to them as hotties...?

Dear me, CALM DOWN!

I have it on good authority that not only the world's best players, but the world's best young players, will be queueing up to play for Avram. If they're not sufficiently impressed with Avram they'll surely want to play for Chelsea given they've always loved the club and could think of no other place to apply the skills they've worked countless hours to achieve.

For those of you who want benzema, are you the smae people who don't rate malouda? i just ask because there is a lot of "malouda is from Ligue 1, and it is cr*p"

So, would it make sense to sign a player who can score goals in such a "crap" league? remember Malouda was their player of the year?!

Is no one even mentioning Van der Vaart!

How about takeing a risk lik so many other big european teams and snapping up the south amercian teenage starlets and actully giving them a first team place!

I'm basing my opinion of what I'vee seen of this guy in the Champions League same way I formed a similar opinion of Drogs before he joined us (from ligue 1 as well if I'm not mistaken).
