April 29, 200817 yr anyone here have any second teams for family reasons or a move of location?im a part time poolie Hahaha, thats a brilliant wind up
April 29, 200817 yr Juve. Mainly because of this bloke; I thought he was a legend, back in his prime. (Although G4 and Pauly might tell me otherwise). And of course, Ranners is now there.
April 29, 200817 yr i live in workington, so its workington reds. im sure some on here will remember them as a decent team in the 60`s and 70`s. my dad remembers watching ossgood slam 2 past them in a cup match to earn a replay. they were replaced by wimbledon in the 70`s when to stay in the league the other teams had a vote. our locla rivals carlisle voted against them and began a lovely little rivalry.
April 29, 200817 yr Del Piero's helped me a lot with my fantasy team Juve's a second for me too, don't think my grandpa would let me support any other italian club
April 29, 200817 yr I was very fond of Juve back in the days when Del Piero, Vialli and Ravanelli formed what I consider to be the best striker force I have ever seen however ever since the match fixing scandal I have nothing but contempt for them (just as I have for the other clubs involved namely AC Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Reggina) and consider all five of them to have been treated very lightly by the authorities.
April 30, 200817 yr Maybe inter next year if Drogba, Lamps, and Mourinho all go there, even though i'm mad a Drogba. Also Zlatan is pretty exciting I have seen some great goals of his on youtube.
April 30, 200817 yr My second Prem team has to be Citeh - because it was my Dad's old team, and I've always had a soft spot for them. I actually live on a street mainly made up of City fans now and they're great on match days. Lots of friendly rivalry and happy banter, without that horrible smugness and holier-than-thou crap we get from Manure supporters. I've been pleased for them this season. Abroad, it's Juve - glad to see I'm not the only one. Some of us can still remember that great late 70s/early 80s side that virtually made up the Azzurri first XI that won the '82 World Cup! I was sickened by the scandal a couple of years ago, but even more sickened by the traditori who left!
