Mourinho to Inter, and will take Deco and Lampard with him

Actually, Deco going is more of a suprise than the other two. I think it has long be felt that Lampard would go wherever Jose went. however, Deco is a player Jose has often spoke highly of, so not really that suprising after all. There you go, make a point then refure it yourself. Genius

Lampard, still has a couple of good years left with us. Drogba just doesn't cut it with 80% of our fans anymore he's just pissed us off more than anything and that clouds what he has done this season.

We need someone new, young and someone with the pedigree to bang in 20+ goals upfront defaintly, just look at the scouse bar stewards. They brought in Torres he was young, fresh and without him they would of been knocked out of the CL in the group stages and around 6th in the prem.

This deal is not done yet no matter what the Portuguese press are stating.

Mancini's agent has said on the radio today that Mancini is set for another 4 seasons at Inter and whilst I don't think he will get that long, he seems determined to dig his heels in and remain as manager.

He has set out feelers for Chelsea and has been rebuffed so it's hardly as if he has got another job to walk into.

It wouldn't surprise me if Jose was still jobless by the time the next season started at this rate.

I really cannot see Lamps leaving, he may love Jose, but he knows what he has with the Chelsea fans wouldn't be replaced anywhere else. He's never made a scapegoat here, his name is chanted every match, the fans just adore him. Plus, he'll want to be close to his family, I can see him dragging his wife and two daughters further away from his dad and sisters.

Of course, if we hire Scooby Doo as our manager, then can't blame him... As I've said elsewhere, get the manager sorted ASAP, the players will then follow IF the choice is good enough (and we should expect the best).

Deco? Yeah, Lamps? Give over.

Yes, and being a bit more cynical - I don't know if any other club, Inter included, have the financial muscle to offer him a 120k+ per week contract, like he apparently already has on the table with us, waiting for him to sign.

Well there's me for an idiot.

It was funny as hell, listening now with hindsight to the agent only two days ago on Five Live saying how Mancini was so secure, nuclear war couldn't get him out of the Inter job for another 4 years and "Mourinho was not a concern".

Roll forward 24 hours and one meeting with Moratti and it's curtains and Mourinho is in saying how excited he is and can't wait to get to work and the agent is holding his hands up going "yes he's gone".

Just shows you that you can't believe anything an agent of either a player or manager tells you.

I'll be willing to bet that Chelsea will be getting a few phone calls now from Inter asking for Lampard especially and Drogba.

I think Chelsea will have a real clear out this summer so I wouldn't be surprised though if they sold and without a manager at the helm I wonder if players would be more inclined to go.

Only in the sun but its reported should JM take the Inter job he's going to raid CFC for Lampard,Drogba and Carvhallo in a £35m swoop.

£35m..... we'd be mad to accept less than double that.

Lampard does'nt have long left but they still all have contracts and must be worth at least £20m each.

It makes me giggle they way that ‘The Sun’ report Inter as ‘Raiding’ us for these players. It conjures up images of us lying helpless on the floor, legs and arms bounded by rope, whilst Mourinho and Moratti storm in to ransack the place!

Drogba; we’ve covered in great detail. Lampard; well, it’s a contentious issue, but I firmly believe that he’ll stay. Especially after the support he’s been given whilst going through the death of his mother. Carvalho, well, if he want’s to go then fair enough, but they’ll have to bloody well offer a decent price, and more importantly, on all 3 players, we have to say ‘YES'!

Raid my arse.
