TheWestwayWonder
seen this before and its got to be a few mancs on a windup. Becuase if its not, its the most priceless thing ever. I recall the guy saying Enrique Lucas was better than Ronaldo a few months ago Rafa’s done it; he knows how to win the league now.      WHERE IS THE CALM DOWN SMILEY AT A TIME LIKE THIS!!!

Barn
I hate scousers more than - dare I say it, most of you on here, it goes back longer than most of you have been aware of Chelsea. But I really do think they're going to be a threat this year, I think Rafa has wised up a lot and I think they've got a very good squad. They and there fans don't deserve to be anywhere near the league and I'll love it if they fail miserably but I'm worried about them.
Tim
Why do all Scousers keep going on about them getting Villa or Benzema etc to partner Torres, when we all know Tubby never plays 4-4-2??? Very very very very very very very very very very deluded article.
Maksimov
I think Rafa has wised up a lot What exactly do you base that assumption on?
g3.7
it's obviously not written by liverpool fans. sadly lacking in any subtlety that could have made it work.

There is still underlying chaos and uncertainty going on in their board room, as the two Yanks have repaired their rift, but rumors of DIC still linger. Those kind of question marks can scupper a team from the get go. Add to that their riddiculous transfer cat and mouse games this summer and youve got all the makings of an upcoming disaster. Peter Crouch, who they shouldve played more often over trash like Kuyt and Voronin gets sold while they chase Villa who they cant afford and dont really need. Meanwhile, their wingers are still Pennant, Kuyt, Babel and Benayoun. Then theyre gonna lose another five million switching Barry with Alonso. Is that going to make them that much better. Are they going to play with three men in the middle and two out wide? Then there are the cheapy cheap fullbacks they bring in who are clearly not valued by the likes of Udinese and Borussia enough to keep them around. I just think they have decended from the point of "lets strengthen this position" to taking shots in the dark and hoping they can come out with a title winner. And outside of getting Torres, I cant really see how much they are better than the team that featured Luis Garcia, Baros, and Biscan. Best of luck to them, but unless theyre going to beat the other three title contending sides in every fixture this year, I cant see how theyre going to improve on last years performance And if they dont start fast, I think Rafa's head is gonna be on the chopping block unless they can improve their results or win silverware
Jimboola69
I live the way that Scouse fans think that DIC being in charge will mean the money floating in. They are the Dubai INVESTMENT COMPANY. They want profit! Thick feral cnuts! ;)
blizeH
Hang on, the whole blog must be a wind-up surely: Dirk Kuyt-Arguably the best defensive striker in the world and heart-beat of the Dutch national team. Just like Holland pioneered “total football†Kuyt has revolutionised the role of the modern day striker. He used to bang in 30 goals as a season, but who needs goals when you’re the best defensive striker in the world? Rafa deserves credit for converting Kuyt from a prolific striker into a world class talent worthy of a spot in this years Euro 2008 team of the tournament. It’s a pity Kuyts international team mates (such as Van Horseface) didn’t show the same passion and determination demonstrated by the duracell bunny esque Kuyt. He certainly silenced his doubters, especially the hordes of Manc armchair fans who continually deny the blonde haired vikings brilliance. Undoubted player of the tournament. 10/10 Kuyt was pretty good for Holland, but jesus christ!
Englishman
Ironic name for a website, given that it's now 18 years since Liverpool last won the league and 5 teams have won it since they last did.
