Who would you pick for your front 3 without Drogba ?

gotta be cole-anelka-kalou at the moment for me. id love to see franco given game time, but i dont think putting this kind of pressure on him so early in his career would be a good thing.

With Deco and Essien both out and the wide players inconsistant I'd like to see Anelka given the partner he craves...Di Santo enters stage right.

Cole - Franco - Kalou

A young front line, yes, but we need a young + experienced side, not just an experienced one. Joey has the most experience, Kalou has played in World Cups and African Cup Of Nations, so he has some experience too. Franco has absolutely none, but that may not be a bad thing...

To be honest it is a tough choice because there are 5 names there. One I am confident is good enough (Joe), three I don't think are good enough and one hasn't had a chance to show whether he could be good enough.

On this basis I have to go for Cole, Anelka and Kalou however it isn't an option I have a great deal of faith in.

Hard one to call, Di Santo needs more playing time but I couldn't advocate him as a starter as I dont have much idea how good he really is,

Malouda has only shown flashes and frustrates the hell out of me so I would use him as a sub more often than not,

Joe can unlock defences and can take a chance very well when in form and for this reason I would put faith in him,

Kalou always at least makes defenders think he is likely to try to go past them and also can sometimes show a knack of getting in the right place to get a chance although if he takes it or not is anyones guess...I do think he has potential though and have hope for him.

Anelka...I always thought if his head was right he could be very good, when he arrived I thought he was a good signing and would maybe give us enough to save last season, never a lone frontman though and tends to drift wide even when hes in a front two, again frustrates me as I think he has more to offer and needs a bit more time with Deco in the team playing him the type of passes he should be getting goals from.

Anelka Joe and Kalou for me at the moment.

I had to go with Anelka, Malouda, and Kalou. Having been nearly every game this year, i have been saying that Joey IMO has not played that well at all yet and if he is carrying a knock, should be left on the bench. Malouda is realy showing signs of becoming half decent this year and Kalou is just a nousance to any defender. Anelka i feel will be ok, yes he does miss he's fair amount of chances but i realy do feel that the goals will come with confidence.

FDS will be a great player for us and he will get playing time this year, and it will stand him in good stead for years to come. Scott Sinclair i am not too sure about (i would love him to comew good) he seems to run down too many blind allys and reduces his own options. Gael Kakuta IMO will be something special in time.

The future looks rosey, and all the negativity i have read not only on here but other forums, i can't understand. I think we have a manager now that knows how to get the best out of players and despite the injury problems (every club has them) we will be absolutely fine, and we will win the title this year.

I was impressed with Malouda today. I'd include him and Kalou at the moment, seeing as they both seem to be hitting some sort of form.

And we can't really put that much pressure on Di Santo...
