  1. I have been to Citi Field a few times when visiting the folks back in NY. It is a very nice stadium but from a baseball standpoint you cannot walk around the lower tier to see the game. They closed it off for suites. It is a bit of a bother but the rest of the stadium is superb and far better than Yankee Stadium. Here in Denver, brick is everywhere and it is open all along the bottom deck. It is a nice feature because outside in the concourse you can grab a bite or drink aand nestle up to field without having to pay for the premium seats. Spent many days buying a ticket in the upper deck but stood pretty much at field level knocking back pints (OK, they're plastic cups of shoddy American beer) and watching a game. I am sure to be biased but Coors Field is perhaps the finest places to catch a baseball game. If you do decide to sit on the right field side and in the upper deck which face west you get to see the sun set over the mountains. With that said if they replicate Citi Field which has major influences of Coors Field, it be great. Citi Field is very nice but the one drawback I mentioned kills it for me.
  2. Pure Class and why players will give everything they have for him. Apart from a very few, most stars in the sport who have played for him have nothing but good things to say. He asks for 110% and in return he will show incredible loyalty. Glad he is back and hope he stays for 20 years.
  3. Blah blah blah... Who cares what this Scouse c*nt has to say.
  4. Nothing this man does has been short of calculating. He wants a dynasty and a legacy like some other managers. His comments and actions are completely engineered to bring out the best in the squad and us supporters. I see nothing wrong with it.
  5. "Only one person said I couldn't play twice in one week and he knows who he is"
  6. Not on those wages and what it cost to bring him to Chelsea.

  10. Watched the match here stateside and my memory slips who said it but he said this; "Willian is harder to read than War and Peace!" Absolutely brilliant comment and so true.
  11. To the Blue is the Color; Boring Boring Chelsea football is their name We all play to win points every day So cheer us on when we grind big games Because Chelsea, trophies are our name

  13. Before today which he scored the match winning goal; John Terry has 63 goals as a center half with Chelsea the club he signed with as an 8 year old . He averages a goal every ten games over 16 years. Remarkable statistic and then there are the goals he actually saves. Is it time to start thinking he is top 5 defenders in the history of the game?
  14. Think the globe views that opinion now. Some friends who don't even follow the sport here in the States have texted me YouTube clips of Luiz looking foolish. Of course they're all about the Suarez nutmeg moves but some are so in disbelief of Luiz's silliness they think the sport is rigged. To quote one, "this is a totally rigged sport, that defender just let him walk through! Pathetic!" Obviously that is not the case but to have people who don't watch the sport at all saying this speaks loudly.
  15. Better than Nato though? If Chelsea sign him it'll be a wash and probably a profit through shirt sales. Not much though because the Japanese are not exactly stupid and know why Chelsea signed him. This is marketing for Yokohama and the fact they paid top dollar for the sponsorship, why not? Sadly, this is the sport now. Try and profit as much as you can to meet FFP. Next up will be managers selling their daughters and sons to the slave trade to profit.
  16. Normally I would agree but they did have a full week of rest and to prepare for PSG and looked quite flat against a ten man side. Should've taking that match by the scruff and ran with it.
