  1. For those of you who don't know, Sinclair scored for QPR yestuerday in their 1-1 draw with... Err... Palace I think.
  2. When did this game get pushed back to tomorrow? Or has it always been that way? Either which way - bollocks! I hate Sunday games
  3. I don't like the sound of that quote...!!
  4. Just another souless brand sell out... http://theblues.chelseafc.com/america/home.shtml Soccer?! Jerseys?! GO TEAM!!!
  5. I know its early, but its a serious blow to our title chances, or at least keeping up with the other big 2 - if he misses more than just one game for us... Carlo is great, but Cech is a great.
  6. Disgusting. Deserves more than a 3 match ban, I hope Celtic appeal and get it. His bones must be strong as f*ck, HOW it didn't break...
  7. CHELSEA WOULD REJECT G14 INVITE: From the official site: Peter Kenyon has confirmed that Chelsea Football Club would not join the G14 group of clubs if invited. G14 were planning to expand to 40 clubs but speaking at the International Football Arena conference in Zurich, the Chelsea FC chief executive said: 'I think European football has changed a lot since the formation of G14, then there was no real dialogue between the clubs and UEFA. "Now the situation is different. There are a lot of major issues to discuss, and find a resolution to, with UEFA. 'Our position is that the clubs would best be served by a new independent club body working together with UEFA within the framework that has already been set up in co-operation with them. 'So if we were to be officially invited to join an expanded G14 I think we would politely decline.'
  8. The only downside for me is Cech's injury. We were outplayed... it happens to all the big clubs (although the media may think it only applies to us) We generally don't do too well away from home in Europe, we've got 4 points on the board so far We ran our luck... majorly. But we all need luck, could be som sort of turning point in things going our way We couldn't hold the ball... Although they are minnos in CL terms, they're still in the CL, they're not a Wigan or Man City, it was good oppersition. I think Grant & co can take more out of this performance than say the Man City game... we seemed to lose our passing game and ability to keep the ball, but it was 1 game, gone, forgotton. Last night won't be remembered for our woeful performance... I think Liverscum got a couple against the Postmen ( bit harsh) and that'll take it all. We've got Everton on Saturday, and although we may have gone a bit backwards last night - this is on our turf and we find ourselves against similar oppersition - Everton won't hound us down like they did last night. We'll have more freedom and hopefully, more chances. PS, as chances go, Malouda has had his, Joe on the left, SWP on the right.
  9. I agree with the majority, Carvalho the only one who can come out of this game with his head held high IMO. Although Essien did well at RB, apart from that one chance he let go through.
  10. Drogba with a good chance but didn't catch it right SWP about to come on
  11. Not as much as frankie he has just given it away again, still Rosenberg are 2-0 up Oh please, Malouda has given the ball away more times than Lampard. Thats not even my bias talking. ...although, Lampard has given it away more than whats acceptable
  12. How many bloody times has Malouda lost the ball tonight? Saying that, whenever I've seen him he doesn't do much else I'd happily take 0-0 at this stage.
  13. I hope Cech is all right for Saturday, any news on whats wrong?
  14. Ian, I was going to suggest Malouda, but I didn't want to be accused of bias By the way, Frankie Lamps? Wonderful game, 10/10.
  15. SWP has got to come on for either Malouda or Cole, neither have offered much, if anything, during the first half. Ricky has had a decent 45, lost without him.
  16. Oww This program was clearly shot at the end of last season... Bloody Kenyon talking about Jose
  17. http://www.itv.com/TVGuide/default.html Includes interviews with players, staff and fans, with a behind the scene profile of the Blues... I'll be watching
  18. My heart skipped a beat when I read the headline on the BBC Thank God its just a loan.
  19. The return leg... I believe if we win we go through? Although I was at the Bridge when we beat them a week or so ago, I can't really say I saw their tactics in full flow. They gave us a good game in the second half, but (much like Wigan) the second goal killed them off and alas, the game died too. It will be a tough trip, most away ties are, but I'm predicting... a 2-0 victory to us. Lamps and SWP to get the goals.
  20. Sammy Lee gets sacked after our defeat, now Hutch... Watch out Moyes!
  21. lets do 'em at the Bridge! Certainly feeling more confident at playing them at the moment.
  22. Watched the whole match on a very good stream... no one was particually good in the second half, but SWP was impressive in the first, so my vote goes to him.
