BLUENUT
Hope this doesn't turn him the Carlton Cole,Leon Knight route. He deserves better than that. Yeah, I've got high hopes for this youngster. When Jose stopped him going out on loan this season, I thought he'd get more of a run out, but he isn't even making the bench/subs at the moment. I'd bring him back when the ANC starts though, being Chelsea, we're bound to have injuries while players are away
Tim
Slightly disappointed by that, but I guess a month or so of playing regularly and working on what he has learnt from being part of the 1st team squad, can't be a bad thing. We'll have him back when the Cup of Nations begins though please.
Essien's Strike
well sahar and mancienne are there, so rangers are almost a feeder club for us at the moment.. also to be fair, sinclair is really young and not really ready to break through into a senior squad like chelsea's mayeb if he was at bolton or borough or some place where they could really use another striker, maybe, but like has been mentioned right now, people like shevchenko are on our subs bench so, sinclair going to QPR where he will surely get games is the right move this season. even after Drogba and Kalou go to the ANC, well still have Sheva, Pizarro, Joey and Sahar (who will have completed his 3 month loan and was mentioned by JM that he was closest to breaking into the seniors)
The Moos
The way QPR is playing at the moment they need every CFC player they can get I'm a bit disappointed that we send him out on loan again but seing as we never let him play I think it's the right thing to do. I was expecting him to get a few games this season when we were going to play 4-3-3 and attacking football. Perhaps we'll see him when Drogba and the rest are away. But do you really think Chelsea would be stupid enough to sell a talent like Sinclair? Wait, don't answer that...

While Drogba is available, he's unlikely to get that much playing time. And if things don't work out with Sheva, Pizarro, Sahar and anyone else we might buy in January, we'll have the option of calling him back, fully match fit and with a bit more experience under his belt. mad_mac
I think that this Loan actually makes sense. It is a short term deal, he will be back for the CC, and he wil be back to play for us, or at least give us an option, when a fw of our key players are off to the ACN
Star
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_2864431,00.htmlI was hoping we'd see a bit more of him this season. It's 'kin madness - what can he learn at QPR ?? He is our future, let him grow with us, he needs more tests at the highest level. What happened to the belief that if you are good enough you are old enough. Why have a youth system ?... The more I think of our youth development and training facilities for the young the more I think like the tours to the USA and Roman sitting in the Shed are a bloody publicity stunt. Why not do what you want Roman - shell out 100 million for each player in the world you want and let your pupeteer Mr Grant mould them into your playdo plaything that is Chelsea Football Club. IT'S 'KIN OBVIOUS KIDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN A CHANCE HERE .... so to hell with it all ... f@ck em all ... f@ck the fans AND f@ck FIFA. Throw a Nike boot at it all - JUST DO IT ! loz
Star Before going off on one it may be worth considering that it is only a one month loan just now. Sinclair was never likely to get much playing time in the first half of the season however the second half he may see more due to the ACN and also players getting suspended, tired and rotated. Letitng go on loan for a month or two may actually work out well as it will get him some playing time and closer to match fitness when we do need to use him. Thing is loz, he's either good enough to be in and around the first team now or he isnt, if we'r trying to keep the quality of player high then any player worth his salt will be good enough to be getting appearnces now... look back, rooney, giggs, owen, dare i say maccmanaman, some may have rated him, some may not have, add to that ronaldo (19 in his first season??) fabregas and even walcott who after watching them both play a bit i believe sincalre is the better out of the two (in fact a gooner mate of mine thinks sinclare has more about him than wallcot) but walcott is the big news kid. It does seem the case and is my oppinion that players that in that end of the pitch you can kind of get an idea about from a young age, i understand further back the a bit more expiernce may need to come in to it, but sinclare can play out wide in a 4-4-3 or up top in a 4-4-2 and probably out wide in a 4-4-2 as well. I have mixed feelings about malouda and like barn i think swp is a limited player so if scott is the real deal he should be given a chance now, i think he could deffinatly be more of an impact player than what we currently have. ozboy
Whether he is or is not good enough right now doesn't matter. He wasn't getting any playing time. Its far better for him to be playing competitive games and he will undoubtedly perform better for CFC if he is match fit.

What a great young talent like Sinclair needs at this stage of his career is lots and lots of real competitive match experience. 3 or 4 starts in the carling up and the odd 10 minutes at the end of games is not going to get him that experience. c3blu
Not really sure about this one, on the one hand yes he's gaining experience but on the other i dont think he's too far away from our first team. Obviously glad its only a short lone, i just hope QPR's new Chelsea supporting billionaire owner is paying the club for the privalage of using one of our best young players. And i'm not just talking about his wages.
Essien's Strike
man, the kids just eighteen.. he isnt senior material. yet haha theres a loooong way to go. look at walcott, he has been given a lot of time to get it right before he was allowed real playing time in the first squad and its been paying off, just as Wenger does to his other young recruits. being at QPR isnt hurting[/i] him any, whilst giving him match fitness, scoring confidence, team rapport, and more than anything he's being kept busy! people have been campaigning for first teamers being able to play in the reserves if they arent on the bench in order to keep them match fit. not just when back from injury, but weekly if neccessary as long as theyre not part of pick list. this way Scott plays regardless if hes on the sheet which is more than Joe or Sean can say. MURDOCH_(8)
The move can be seen as nothing more than sensible. By the time he returns at christmas he will (hopefully) be on form and fully fit and thats exactly what we need at the time with the ACN. I have no worrys come january because i believe that he can step up and do a job for the team. I also have high hopes for Sahar, i believe he will be a great player for us and surely being israeli can't harm his chances of more first team action?
