Fantasy football
I've given it a go - a bit like Zeta Orionis and Soulo I am one of those who makes a team every season but rarely sticks with so here's hoping I've got more perseverance this time round...

What's everyone's plans for Sunday? The return of Jose!
This is exactly what I'll be doing... I am also far too excited - is there a better way to get back into the footballing season than welcoming Jose home?!

A quick reminder
Exactly what I felt - especially as the closer to the end of the season we got and he hadn't scored a goal in almost 2 months it wasn't looking too rosy. To score the equaliser and the record breaker in one match was special...

A quick reminder
I am with you 100% there. The agonising 'Will he? Won't he?' lead up before he got those two goals at Villa I think made it all the better. I think if he had signed a one year extension before that it wouldn't have been the same... I just wish he had scored that goal against Benfica in the Europa League Final rather than it rattling the post, would have made his season sign off all the more sweeter...

Pre-Season Tour 2013
I really haven't watched much of pre-season at all, what with the games being at ridiculous times and all, but our 1st goal was such a typical Lampard one. A few said Lampard had a poor half against Madrid so am glad to see the old boy still has it... So glad to hear Ramires is back in form - at the end of last season he seemed to tail off a bit and look a bit disinterested, and I personally don't think he had as good a season last year as the year before. Hope the old Rami is back!!!

Goodbye Ghost Goals!
Okay maybe I should have said more frequent decision. I'm all for goal line technology I think it's about time it happened because regardless of how often these incidents hapen they do happen and just like the Spurs example they can have a massive effect on the end result of a match. But people's biggest problem with goal line technology on this thread seems to be that there are other decisions in football which would benefit from having technological assitance, surely you have to start with a less frequent issue before tackling a more frequent issue. Then you can see whether technology benefits the game and whether it can expand into other areas... Whether or not people want more technology used is another debate entirely.

Nathan Ake interview.
I thought Josh was off to Spain and it was pretty much a done deal - what happened to that?

Goodbye Ghost Goals!
But surely by allowing goal line technology to be introduced we're paving the way for technology to start being introduced for bigger decisions. And as someone has already said the goal line technology will allow the linesman to concentrate more on what's going on within the box rather than trying to keep an eye on the goal line, surely that can only make him better?

Pre-Season Tour 2013
Ronald's run for his 2nd goal was awesome - eurgh I hate him so much!!!! Rami's goal was smart - I loved that quick one touch passing in the lead up...

Pre-Season Tour 2013
The thing that wound me up about Moses was last season I distinctly remember him coming on and looking alright going forward but as soon as he was called on to defend he just wouldn't. Sure he'd keep up with play and 'look' like he was defending but what he'd actually do is watch whoever he was marking run past him whilst he pretended to tackle them. Infuriating...

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
And winning that corner in Munich - you know a striker is crap when one of the most memorable things he's done for you is getting a corner which led to a goal But I still don't see anyone actually wanting to sign him even if we're giving him away for free - I think that's why I've always got hope that he'll come good because I don't think he's ever going...

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
Who is going to buy him though? An out of form striker isn't very alluring... It's been said before but Chelsea will want some sort of return on the amount they spent on him, and if his wages are as large as has been reported there's a limited number of clubs that will be able to afford that...

It's all depressingly true isn't it?

Thorgan Hazard saga
A club more mental than us?!? I've heard it all now...

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I forgive him so easily purely because I don't want us to have another flop striker. It's more hopeful then believing he will actually change...

We're the death of modern football. No doubt this will be turned into a way of us sabotaging it...

Josh McEachran - Future at Chelsea?
I would love Josh to become a first team regular but like many others on here have said his stature worries me - hopefully Sociedad can give him a different perspective on the game so that if he can't build physically he can do it mentally. He's not ready to be a first team Chelsea player yet... Whether he actually makes it to the Chelsea first team remains to be seen - but we all love a foreign player...

new signing stipe perica
That's exactly the reason we buy all these young kids - how many of them actually go on to become household Chelsea names? It's not just with this kid either it's been a long line of players we've done this with. Get excited over a players potential only to never see them play in the first team -bar a couple of Carling Cup/late on in the season appearances then off they go... Maybe that's me being cynical?

Hilario signs new one year deal
I feel like I heard that also - or was it Paulo Ferreira I heard that same rumour about?
