Everything that Mata's
No way! Rooney have one foot out the door already at United. No Champions League next year will push him all the way out. I don't see many foreign clubs stepping up and more than likely he will want to stay in England anyway. As for Mata, I would prefer him stay and fight for a place. I strongly believe he will be back before the season ends.It would be gut wrenching to see Mata in a United shirt every week. Plus Moyes wouldnt know what to do with him anyway. If he left, its going to be abroad, better be! Knowing our board we'll ship Mata to Anfield.

Juan Mata's New Song
Good point... I was a bit of how do we say "pissed" last night when I wrote that. Its not really meant to divide because after last season I would rather finish midtable than go through that all over again. Just a song to sing when he does finally see some action on the pitch.

Juan Mata's New Song
Sorry Jose.. Iove you but Juan Mata NEEDS TO BE ON THE PITCH! Here is a song we should all be singing... To Metallica's "Nothin Else Matters“ "So no trust in Juan Mata, He runs the pitch, Like no other, Forever we trust who we are... And no one else Mata! Trust we seek in Juan Mata Forever, he scores with a different view, No nothing else Mataaaaaa..... Wake the f**k up Jose! I LOVE YOU BUT... Juan Mata is our shining star alongside Oscar, and Hazard with Schurrle, DeBruyne, and William coming off the bench with Luiz and Ramires playing deep, alongside (Azi-Ivanovich-Cahill-Terry-Cole-Bertrand) , and NOBODY WILL STOP US! Throw in Super Frankie at the 60th to get up front and do what he does best as a poacher and wham, WE WIN MAJOR SILVERWARE! Yes, I am a Yank (formerly Doubleheilix74) but one who has watched us since the slaughter by "f**k-all" United in the '94 FA Cup prior to hosting the WC here Stateside!

Chelsea v WBA (PL) 09/11/13 KO 15:00 GMT
I think it was a bit soft and could have gone either way. If I am being honest I was quite surprised it was called and think Marriner may have made the decision based on the WBA backline play the entire match. They were horrendous and not even looking at the ball on 75% of our corners. I think Ramires definitely looked for the contact (who wouldn't) but did not dive. The real question is what was Mumba doing anyway. There was a defender there to contain Ramires and the shoulder to shoulder shove was pointless. It opened up Marriner to scrutinize it he decided there was enough there.

Lukaku to Everton
I seriously wonder if Bruce is on to something here... Perhaps just perhaps Jose shipped him to Everton because he knows Lukaku will help destroy our competition? He would do no good to us sharing the pitch with others and Martinez imo is a fantastic manager. While maybe a stretch, one cannot discount Jose's intelligence and strategic ways... Either way, he comes backs with tons more meaningful experience and with the creative players we have, we are going to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come And lets not forget Feruz coming up which could make the squad smaller and speedier than it already is. Future is certainly bright and Jose is going to be more legendary than he already is!

Ramires appreciation thread
Ha, what a great post! This turd looks like he just peeled himself off his friends couch at 3pm after an all night binder. English media is to the English as what the American politicans are to us Yanks! A total effing travesty!

Mutu saga continues
Better yet, lesson to be learned by any kid hoping to be a professional in their sport. We in the US see this happen all too much and it is always a tragedy of Shakespearean proportion.

Oscar - Little Diamond
He has already been quoted last year he wants to emulate Lampard and be a Chelsea legend. He loves London and the fact that the city has a number of Brazilians playing already for Chelsea and other clubs will only solidify that. Not to mention his play and admiration of us supporters. Oscar will be a legend at Stamford Bridge and for Brazil. On a different note, I was also hoping he would wind up in a deeper role even making a comparison to Pirlo, however he really has impressed at the number 10 and should now stay there. Nothing taken away from Mata because I think he is mature enough and has the skill to move out wide. Beyond the Sky is the limit with these guys plus Hazard, Schurrle, and DeBruyne! Bottom line is we are going to be frightening to all of Europe once we have that monster Lukaku running up top.

Tottenham v Chelsea (PL) 28/9/13 KO 12:45 GMT
I also believe you can stream it from NBC Sports website but I think it may require a fee for the season package? I never understood the TV rights thing over in England but I imagine if you hit the internet anyone can watch if they pay. Not sure the amount but I can't see it being too much. NBC Sports wil have it on at 7am EST and 5am for me in Denver. Normally will throw it on the recorder but for this match, I will be up bright and early.

Guardian article. Mourinho & Utd
Stopped reading after I read the title of the book and of course the fact that it came from a journalist in Spain... Great to see Jose keeping a quiet tone this week. After AVB mouthing off all week, it is nice to see Jose take the high road. Now lets wipe the pitch with them Spurs this Saturday and win big!

Swindon v Chelsea (LC) 24/09/13 KO 19:45 GMT
Well without watching the match (It was only aired on BEIN sports here Staeside) but I would have to assume Mata giving away a corner in the end was because he was tracking back for defense, which is what Jose spoke about earlier in the week. Again, I didnt see the match but more than likely that...

Everything that Mata's
Been saying it on here (different username) ever since Oscar was brought in that he should play a deeper role like a Modric or Pirlo. No question, he is extremely talented and he would flourish there. This opens up Mata as the CAM with Hazard, Willian, Schurrle on the sides. Jose can then rotate them all when players need rest. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case with Jose and no question Mata will be gone in January (albeit at cut rate price) if he is not seeing the pitch. Its a World Cup year and while probably not in his nature, he will ask for a move away to keep him on the Spanish NT. I can't say I blame him either. At this stage it is still early but Jose seems to have made up his mind and that means Mata will he wasted talent on the bench. With thats said, Jose is one heck of a manager that surely knows more than all of us. So lets keep the faith!
