  1. Think a mirror will solve this remedy... Just saying
  2. Yeah, I do and Jose has the trophy case to prove it. Do you live on Mars not to know this?
  3. He was the game changer today and that will surely only inflate his head. Rom needs to realize he is only 20 and is no where near the world beater he claims himself to be. Today's match will inly cause more animosity due to his ego. As an American, I have seen it all too often in the NBA (which I don't watch for this very reason) where a player thinks he is far beyond his ability. Normally these young kids have inflated egos because they have been told they are the greatest from an early age and they are so out of reality. I hope he can understand his future and what lies ahead because Jose will make him one of the best but he needs to demonstrate patience and quit shooting his mouth off. It does not fair well for him because Jose will not tolerate this disturbance. In the end, if it meant Jose or Lukaku at the club there is no question Jose!
  4. So that is what taking animal tranqualizer looks like... Great .gif! Thanks for the laugh!
  5. Sign me up! Apart from being a billionaire playboy or travel writer, this job sounds like a dream! Nothing better (apart from the other two imo) than to write utter shyte and wind up the fans of football into a frenzy where everyone suddenly becomes an expert in football while they slave their 9-5 jobs!
  6. Crazy to see this. Does this mean Bertrand is worth 20M? He clearly is more proven than Shaw is. I get United are buying him more for the future but I am glad we did not overpay for him. May regret that in a few years time but just have to look back and say what a gamble this was on an 18 year old.
  7. Exactly! Oscar jas a few bad months after what three years of continuous football and people are ready writing him off? Seriously! I think he may swap with Fabregas from time to time to play deeper. Always felt he coukd be a Modric/Pirlo style player. He could flourish in a 433 as well. Hazard-Costa (or whoever our flavor of the month soon-to-be striker-is) Willian Matic-Fabregas-Oscar
  8. Guy wouldn't even flourish in the MLS here in the States! He is horse-sh*t as far as I am concerned. He could maybe wash kits at Chelsea but I think they already have a person allergic to soap and water doing that. Fun idea though, you must be drunk? Of course I am joking about my entire post. Thanks for the laugh!
  9. Overpaid dearly for yet another overpriced English player. Sorry, unless he turns into a Bale this money spent will be as good as it was for Fellani. Don't rate him defensively but if they develop him like Harry did Bale and create an offensive player then yes... While possible, I just do not see it. Remember Rooney is locked in on that ridiculous contrct for another 5 years. That means Mata on the on the wing with Janujai (or whatever his name is) and RVP up top. I guess Rooney can take over for RVP but... Isn't Van Gaal looking for Robben too? Shaw for me is a liability on defense and unless drastically improved over the time, I think Utd overpaid.
  10. May be a pipe dream but if we are unloading Cech, perhaps cash and him for Sanchez? Before I am ridiculed, if Courtois is our number one then Cech will surely want to leave. He is still top notch but if we are going for the younger Courtois (which I hope) it is only fair for Petr (who's been nothing short of great for Chelsea) a spot on a squad who he can help win trophies. Barca need a keeper and are looking at Sanchez as obvious surplus. Of course that Suarez guy (or animal) could be a monkeywrench in this. My take anyway....
  11. Rooney on those weekly wages? No thank you! Chelsea would do better letting him stew at United until his mid thirties at £300k per week. Sometimes playing defense and letting somebody else pay for a "on the downslope of his career" player with inflated wages is better than signing them themselves. Rooney's supremely inflated wages will only prevent them from other major signings which works in Chelsea's favor.
  12. Agreed but when Chelsea sold Luiz to PSG for the sum of what €50M all sanity went right up in the air... Not a knock on Luiz or PSG but just shows you how valuations have gone as you put it bonkers. A lot like internet company valuations these days... Money to burn with people who are obviously bored...
  13. This thread has now reached the absurdity level of a Hulk thread. Announce the signing ready so we can shut this thing down.
  14. I agree... Perhaps Andy Murray can replace the Queen when we win the treble next year. Balotelli is a headcase but apparently so is Costa. I say sign the pair and let the master Jose deal with them. Jose can be Yoda for all I care as long as these two will score goals! Doubtful for the pair to come but be pretty awesome if they did. Guaranteed 35-40 goals between the pair and that is double what we got last year.
  15. With his weekly wages very few clubs will even think about him let alone look at him. He more than likely will be a thorn in United's side with Van Gaal and the very real possibility that RVP will captain the squad. He is United's problem for what five more years, let him stay there...
  16. Or a good comedy for all us to enjoy.
  17. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, especially that Jose is on record about him. With that said, fingers and toes are crossed with this guy. I think Spain just really sucked and Del Bosque did not use Costa to his strengths. I hope so anyway! Tough to take away any player on that squad, they were all pretty much shyte apart from Azi...
  18. Unless United agreed to take £225k of his weekly wages on, Rooney is going no where. He used us last year to get another extension and as far as I am concerned let the Glazers and United deal with paying him a King's ransom until he is in his mid thirties. Don't care how good he may be or was, doesn't matter. We (and I mean every non Manure suporter) should all relish the next few years watching Shrek decline further while United has to foot the bill.
  19. I caught some of the shows pirated off the web because we have no opportunity to gain access here in the States. Back then I didn't have cable television and when I did view the idiot box it streamed through the web on my computer hooked up to the tv. As most already mentioned the Under 21 matches were good, the phone-in show was entertaining (when I could understand what they were saying because few I remember sounded pissed), and a few other programs were decent too. I caught the CL celebrations which were superb (obviously) and unheard of being aired in the States. Think ESPN aired bull-riding that day. Anyway, if I coud, I pay the $10 per month for it to watch on my tv. Definitely worth it imo...
  20. Wel apparently he has received death threats on his FB page and one tosser even posted photos of his shirts on fire... I cannot wait until February when Wilshire, Theo, and Ramsey are all injure, Carzola and Ozeil are lost, and Arteta and Flamini are running around like chickens w/o a head on the pitch. Then the Arse wil really turn on Wenger about passing up Cesc. Great signing for Chelsea and the fact he cost us so little is a joke! Kudos to the board! We just added a world class player to the squad who can play a few different positions and is extremely hungry to prove his worth. Oh and did I mention he qualifies as homegrown! Great piece of business! Lets forget the past and watch this guy orchestrate like he once did at Arsenal.
  21. Costa is a worry... Didn't do much but draw a soft penalty imo. He slipped because he stepped on the defenders leg. The headbutt was completely out of line and I am sure FIFA will look at it. I know he played beyond well all season but seems to lack discipline. Keep Lukaku because Costa appears to be a loose cannon and could wind up being suspended from his irrational decisions.
  22. No, Lane the almighty (and his 15 yr old brain) apparently knows everything there is to do with Football. Have you not seen him run his mouth on every thread hurling insults at people who do not agree with him.
  23. Just because the buyout clause was met, does not guarantee the club that met the buyout clause in getting the player. Perhaps it is Costa who is holding out for more money? If he waits and has an amazing WC then other clubs can too meet the buyout clause and offer the player more money than Chelsea is. The buyout clause guarantees the club that is losing the player the money, that is it. The player still needs to agree to terms with the club meeting the buyout clause. Not sure why this is so difficult to grasp but insulting someone certainly doesn't help the cause. And no, I will keep my day job! I like what I do professionally and frankly have no clue what goes on in the back offices of professional football clubs. Apparently you do though...
  24. Guess you are missing the part where everyone is saying "if these comments are true" For the record I think they are because this is not the first time we are hearing comments like this.
