Puyol over Terry and Maldini? No chance, Puyol was quick and strong so got himself out of trouble a lot. Terry and Maldini have the brains to put themselves in the best position and don't often need to do 'hollywood' tackles and blocks.

That picture is a fake, photoshopped. If you have the misfortune to see it again look how the light is different on the arm to the rest of the crowd. I think it's there, or perhaps the little girl but it's definitely not real.

Yes I did see the match, not a highlights reel. Salah is terrible, not a team player at all, he gets the ball then puts his head down and dribbles (left foot only of course). He may get some assists, the old goal here and there but he is not a player you want for a cohesive team, certainly not a team competing at the level we are.

Let's just hope nobody at Roma saw the match on Saturday,...

The right, just by the Newcastle fans, weren't season ticket holders it was all the members who took up what the Geordies sent back (so members that didn't get tickets elsewhere and I think it was open at 0 loyalty points). I was one of them and would have been up for singing but seemed to be surrounded by tourists and despite the odd few of us singing, it could never really get going.

After speaking with some Spanish friends (who support Malaga and Real Madrid as apparently it's normal to support local team + one who wins) and having them adamant that spanish fans sing a lot I searched you tube. They never sing songs about players and often just whistle but anyway, I found youtube of whole Munich match and watched from 80th min for the first time since live. Much better than those Anti-Chelsea revisionists have and of course awesome ending! Whatever the comments are about atmosphere at the Bridge, it's far worse abroad.
