Flop of the season?
Most people have said the worst ones, maybe Zaha should get a mention, still has a future but poor year after all the hype

Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2013-14
I honestly wouldn't mind Liverpool winning the league for their players (mostly) and thier manager but thier fans are so arrogant it's annoying, singing 'we're gonna win the league' for weeks now, there's so long to go and they have to play both us and city and are potentially third after city play thier games in hand, f**k off you scouse twats

The Davy Moysie Thread
Looking at their squad all of last season I was shocked that they managed to win the title so comfortable, mainly due to van persies great season pushing them over the edge in games. For me it was obvious the team was weak compared to previous united teams, the only thing that made them decent was ferguson, the players worked extremely hard for him and he knew the game inside out. Another reason I thought they would struggle is that team had always given them a lot of respect, they had earned the right for smaller teams to be scared to go an attack them because they would counter so well and score a goal from the other end of the pitch but with ferguson going I felt teams would attack more and whenever they have its worked well, I think it would of worked well last season too but teams were just too afraid to try. Once teams learnt to play the current team and not the history of the team I felft they could expose the weaknesses that Man U have at the back. The big reason for many is that the job was the toughest around, it would always been difficult but just after winning the title with a average team the pressure was piled on, I've never really seen moyes cope with pressure, or some of the younger players that won the title last year, not the type of pressure that has been put on them this season, I guessed it would be too much to take. A few bad results at the beginning of the season and I thought it would snowball and make the job even tougher. Finally I saw the rest of the teams improving greatly, us with Jose back, man city with thier obviously talatened squad, I guessed if Liverpool could get Suarez and Sturridge playing together they would have a strong season, arsenal always get top four and I thought spurs would do better than they have (didn't expect quite as much from Everton if I'm honest) so I knew top four was a lot tougher to achieve then last season. I said to my mate who supports Man U that top four is the aim in the summer though he was sure it would be another title bid, I told him that I think they'll get 5th if van persie plays well 6th if he doesn't, I didn't know what sort of season he would have and if he would have injuries. I admit that this view was obscured by my hate for Man U and I rarely give them credit for anything but I was proven right this season, either I'm a football genius or my bias got me lucky, either way I saw it coming

Reasonable or not I called Man Us season to go how it has done as soon as Moyes was appointed

Pellegrini now saying city aren't title favourites (why would he). The only manager who wanted to admit they were in a title race were the first team to crash out of it, maybe a draw last night will inspire a performances from arsenal at the weekend, I don't have much hope though as they literally have no passion no gut and no leaders in thier team. Already hating relying on city to slip up.

I think they'll give them a bit more of a game but agree that the result will be the same, I'd be happy if they managed to nick a point

Crystal Palace v Chelsea (PL) 29/03/14 KO 15:00 GMT
I think he might start talking about second place then and if we're 4 points clear with one week to go....he'll probably say we could have points deducted and still not favourites to win the league

Belief yes, but he's delusional if he think arsenal will come anywhere near winning the league, finishing 5th is a very real possibility for them now

The Next 11 Games
Completely agree, a lot of people saying we have the easiest run in, on paper perhaps but all the teams we have to play are fighting for survival and we are bound to drop concentration levels for at least one of those games, still think going unbeaten until the end of the season would just about do it

The Next 11 Games
A lot more confident with united going foward with RVP out though, with mata playing as a 10 behind Rooney could somehow save Moyses job, if they win tonight it'll be the best result of thier season, maybe they'll play for thier own pride and for the fans rather than the manager, still just optimism though as thier defence looks very precarious

Eto'o - The African King
Wonder how we would of one had we signed Etoo instead of Torres
-
Eto'o To Stay?
Yep absolutely, obviously depends on what we do in the summer but has had a fairly decent first season in the prem as long he accepts not being first choice

Champions League Quarter Final draw - 11:00 GMT - Poll!
All teams are tough but happy enough with that

Diego Costa to Chelsea
He would of been perfect for Brazil, with him leading the line I'd have no doubts they'd win the World Cup

Chelsea v Galatasaray (CL) 18/03/14 KO 19:45 GMT
Let's hope for athletico then, can make all kinds of contract offers for an own goal or two

Romelu Lukaku and who?
For me the question really was would I want him coming to Chelsea, I don't think I would and if anyone else agrees we should target someone else then I don't feel like you can call him world class but not have him as first choice for our team. If everyone thinks he's world class we should make him our main option for summer, regardless of his age, but I'm not sure that's the case
-
Can't help but think we are responsible for the Scouse revival
I think he got a bad reputation for asking to play as a cf when being asked to play on the wings, I don't really see what's wrong with that
-
Romelu Lukaku and who?
I won't argue that he's not a good player, my opinion that he's overrated wont change no matter what he does in the French league, but I really can't see a case being made for us signing him, he'll be 33 this year and I only see headlines for the wrong reasons with him. Like I've said we've had such a bad time with strikers for years now, I just want someone who is only in the news for scoring and someone who will be part of our long term future.
-
Romelu Lukaku and who?
He hasn't done it in the two toughest leagues, fair enough he hasn't had the chance, but you can't say he would definitely adapt well to playing in Germany or England, same way I can't say he definitely wouldn't. He has also never won the champions league and every side that he's won the league with were favourites to do so.
-
Romelu Lukaku and who?
Haha NO WAY was I actually comparing welbeck to Ibra, was just making a point, my point really is world class goals don't necessarily make world class players, it takes more for me, really all I'm saying is he is not the player we need, too many questions marks over him, whether its his ability to do it in England or for his attitude and his age ect. 4/5 years ago I'd welcome him, now I'm not sure
-
Romelu Lukaku and who?
I was talking more about Ballotelli but Zlatan scoring amazing goals just covers up what he does poorly, he shows he can produce world class moments but gets lost in big games and is more an individual than part of a team, if he came to the prem and did what he is doing now I'd change my opinion but he seems to get a lot of time and space playing in a piss poor league for by far the best team. I'm not saying he's not a good player but just wouldn't put him in the world class bracket. If you look at some of Danny welbecks best goals he could look world class too.
-
Romelu Lukaku and who?
Zlatan an and Ballotelli would be absolutely terrible, all the talk over the last few years has been about our strikers, that would just add to it but for different reasons, aside from the fact they'd probably cause more headlines off the pitch I honestly couldn't pick two more inconsistent strikers and I think they're both massively over rated
