  1. So still not as successful a club as Blackburn or Leicester, then? And a title push that saw him come third in a 2-horse race. I do wish people would stop with this nonsensical Pochettino adoration. The man won nothing, had arguably some of the best forwards in the league at his disposal, if the Kane-ites, Alli-lovers and Son-o-philes are to be believed, and the very best he could achieve was getting 14 corners in one half of football against us. You'll be telling me Eddie Howe is the English Guardiola next.
  2. Is that Pochettino who has never won anything at all?
  3. This album - Alexa play Star Trek by the Vulcans
  4. Some people just don't care, mate. f**k everyone else, I wanna because I'm special, and you got no right to stop me.
  5. I'm afraid that people like you, with attitudes like that, are the main problem these days. It's OK to do what I want because I want to do it, regardless of who the f**k else I screw over. That gives you 500,000 idiots swarming the beaches of Dorset just because they wanted to, and f**k Dorset and the people there, eh? That gives you over 20 police officers injured trying to stop an illegal party with no attempt at social responsibility in London. That gives you 8 tons of rubbish, human excrement and discarded masks in the Lake District "beauty spots. That gives you moorland fires all over the place because dimsh*ts thought the middle of a heatwave was great time to have a barbecue in the middle of extremely dry heather on the hottest weekend of the year. Just because you are allowed to do something, doesn't make it right, acceptable or sensible.
  6. Or the nearly 70,000 people who lost their lives, maybe?
  7. https://talksport.com/football/563229/ben-chilwell-to-chelsea-transfer-news-most-expensive-english-players-sterling-maguire/ https://oltnews.com/ben-chilwell-at-chelsea-new-45million-blues-star-joins-top-10-most-expensive-england-players-of-all-time http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2020-08/27/c_139320970.htm https://www.britainnews.net/news/266214075/chelsea-signs-chilwell-from-leicester But obviously none of those suit the weird narrative that some in here and in our wonderful british press seem determined to push at all times. (And that was the very simplest of googles.)
  8. Why is everyone in here quoting £50 million plus add-ons when everything I have seen in the press says £45 million?
  9. And for a professional footballer's 75-year old grandmother it is a possible death sentence when they pop round to drop off the bottle of Retsina they brought back for her. When will people start taking this f**king thing seriously.
  10. Also 19 teenagers in Plymouth or somewhere like that positive after coming back from a Greek holiday
  11. I'm a tad confused. I thought a buy-back clause determined that if we wanted to sell the player, Real Madrid got first refusal at an agreed price, and that if we didn't want to sell him, we didn't. I'm not aware of any contract law that says we have to sell a player we want to keep. Have I got it totally wrong?
  12. doo dooooo doo doo doo
  13. Saw them at Knebworth in 1979, one of the support act at the Zeppelin concert. They were immense.
  14. But it's Willian- the default position of lots of people is to get offended by whatever he does. Look at the cry-baby gurly response to some silly photoshop thing someone on his media team did after the FA Cup. People in here took huge offense at that and discounted everything he ever did on the pitch because of that. Honestly, it pisses me off as much as the Brexit w**kers who moan on and on still, even though they "won". People who trashed the player for season after season and wanted him out now get all bitch-whiney because he's left. People, he's gone, you won, get over it!
  15. Not "literally". Come on Sidney, you are better than that, you usually have a decent level of grammar and logic.
  16. Always someone with a Sports Science O level to try to make you look a tit, mate!
  17. Alexa, shuffle songs by Funk Incorporated
  18. It all got a bit deep for me. I said " the only "expectations" we are entitled to are that each player does his best when on the pitch" and that was all I meant. I only have the right to expect that. Getting into skill level and mental preparation and all that is secondary. Get out there and do your best, that's all I ask. Obviously, from a huge majority of posts in here during match-day threads and after, that isn't enough for most people, but then I have never, ever been a top-class player, manager, coach and international scout like most of you. For example, in my mind little Denis Wise was a quite limited footballer, but always gave 100% every time and I, for one, would kill for a Wise these days. A whole load of you would be on his back every match because he didn't match your expectations of what he should be doing in your mind, his xG/xA (whatever the f**k that actually means) isn't what I deserve as a long-term Chelsea fan who pays a HUGE subscription to NBC Sports Centre, Sky, BT and Bein Sports EVERY SEASON, and he doesn't protect the back 4 whilst still hitting 25 goals a season. In summary, I should have worded my initial comment more precisely. I expect every player to give 100% for the entire match. I have no right to "expect" anything else.
  19. Are you being all turdy and using facts to argue with someone's obvious gut-felt feelings?
  20. I've gone where Alexa has taken me after "Play the album Tighten Up Volume 2"
  21. Or he's trolling us all and Chelsea will announce a new 4-year contract with a minimum 35 guaranteed league starts each year and CHO and Pulisic to be his own personal driver/boot-cleaners
  22. I would like that. 25 penalties a season is an good achievement. I think I would feel dirty, but each to their own.
