Wilfred Zaha
But we have seen exactly that when he was up at the theatre of sh*te. He was surrounded by a fairly decent united squad and he was rubbish.

Didn't forget. He needed to wait, and should have waited with us. Then he'd be the player he is now, but playing in proper blue.

No, we used to go a lot but haven't been for a few years now. Will have to try getting back up again, I miss paying £10 for a pint.

@Ewell CFC Do they still have Funky Sensation upstairs at Ronnie's on a Saturday night?

OK, Jack. I didn't see that in DeBruyne. I thought he had one good half and was pants the rest of the time, and I disagree that he was better than Oscar. He should have had the patience to fight for a place, but didn't. I can sort of agree about the Mount comparison, but, in all honesty, if we didn't have the transfer ban, Mount wouldn't be a regular first team starter, and would be getting by on late sub appearances and possibly the league cup. Still, we could possibly use DeBruyne as he is now

I missed the Blackbyrds, but saw a review of their Under The Bridge gig that said pretty much the same. I saw they were touring with War and Cymande, bought tickets but now the tour has been cancelled. Got a refund, but I'd rather have seen the bands. Going to see Roy Ayers in April, which should be excellent, even if the bloke is 147 years old. Then the Isley Brothers (both of them) in June. Gotta see these old legends before they go dying on me.

Just gotta love Mario Biondi. Have a go at this too - not a great fan of Gregory Porter lately, but this is the bollocks Just had a listen to Mop Mop too. Never heard of them before but liked what I found so far.

At the time, yes. I've been through this so many times, but neither DeBruyne nor Salah of those days would get a starting place in the first team of today, and neither should they. Salah was just pants, made Cuadrado look like George Best, KdB wasn't willing to be patient enough to stay and prove why he should dislodge experienced internationals who were consistently performing better than he was. The fact that both improved with age is no reason at all to have ruined our seasons back then, and 20/20 hindsight doesn't make sensible punditry. Find me anyone at the time who was demanding that either had a guaranteed spot on the team sheet. Do you think that they should? And for application and temperament, Zaha isn't fit to be the ball-boy collecting one of Malouda's over-hit crosses from the back of the North Stand.

Neither Zaha nor Ake are any sort of improvement on our current squad and we shouldn't be considering either one, even on a free transfer. Zaha is a big fish in a small pond who bottles under the pressure of big games, couldn't make it up the theatre of sh*te and has done very, very little since then. £80 million, my arse. Ake wasn't good enough when he was here, hasn't really improved in the interim and would be a short-sighted buy that would either be an expensive bench-warmer, 4th in line at least, would block Tomori's progress or would be some sort of stop-gap utility defender/midfielder who can play OK-ish in several positions, but isn't actually that good in any of them. Let's just hope the club have a bit more sense than a lot of you.

@coco you bastard. Now I look (more) like some drunken, rambling old tramp shouting at the pigeons! (I was right again, though!)- Transfers
I think you mentioned sad life and a mid-life crisis as one of your previous user names as well. Seems to be a fall back witticism. For what it's worth, you are the sort of deadwood poster that I would be happy for the mods to dispose of, "youf"- Transfers
Oh don't be such a dick. Even Stevie Wonder can see you posting the same argumentative sh*te as at least 2 previous banned incarnations with your Oscar Wilde level of humourous user name selections. Off to ignore you go.- Callum Hudson-Odoi
Don't feed the troll, mate. He's not long for this world, he's too stupid to not get banned again very soon.- Transfers
So you get banned for the umpteenth time for being a twat, create a new "witty" user name showing the exact same childish w**ky nonsense as all the previous times you joined, and then wonder why everyone in here thinks you are a complete f**kwit. I thought there was some rule about banned members not being allowed back in because they were arseholes.- Callum Hudson-Odoi
East Upper - let me know when you're able to get to a game again.- Callum Hudson-Odoi
What stand do you sit in, mate? We could meet up for a pint or several.- Fedor Chalov
was playdayouf last time, I lost track of the previous ones, something about some street around SW6 gleaned from google, but always the same bolshy bollocks. Got banned for being abusive to the women in here one time, I think.- Fedor Chalov
In about his 4th or 5th incarnation of badass f**kwittery, as well. Won't be here much longer.- Arsenal v Chelsea on 25th Aug 1984
If by "his tits played with" you mean he had his tits pierced and stretched and then he got strung up by them, then that's yer fella. - Danny Drinkwater
