It's not a must win game. But after that Cech save the other 10 owe him a favour. Put a cross with some pace in ffs rather than these floated balls that are gimmes for Howard.

De Gea would win a Ballon D'or for a save like that

Cuadrado's crossing so far has left a little to be desired but on a positive his pace is unreal. He'll roast most full backs in the league. Lennon seems their bighest threat but no one else has noticed that so they're still trying to play through the middle with Barkley and Naismith. Also Lukaku's touch is w#nk the ball just bounces off him and he has to run away from goal a few yards to claim it. Remy looks positive don't mind him trying his luck when he gets the chance. He's more than entitled to as he doesn't get many chances to play so is under pressure to perform in his limited opportunities.

Wouldn't mind seeing a 4-3-3 with Fabregas the most forward of the midfield trio with Matic and Ramires behind him. With the addition of Cuadrado we now have an out and out wide player on the right. I'd go with Hazard and Cuadrado with Remy up front. Back 4 I'd like to see Terry and Zouma together again with Ivanovic on the right and Azpi on the left. Courtois should keep his position in goal although Villa was an uncharacteristic performace I don't think it warrants being omitted from the squad. Have no issuse with a strong line up today as we have the weekend off before a trip to Paris. One which hopefully won't end in the same circumstances as last time.

Haha I'm pretty sure it's a Canadian tennis player. Sorry to disappoint.

Cech or Courtois?
Don't see Real Madrid being in for him. Real Madrid's ideal keeper would be De Gea (spanish) followed by Lloris (French). Plus don't see Jose wanting to do any favours for Real Madrid.

Joe Cole came on for Villa unnoticed
Also add to his accolades the ridiculous volley he scored in the World Cup. Superb strike - top bin.

Is There a Media Campaign Against Chelsea?
I didn't say they were succesful in doing so?

Is There a Media Campaign Against Chelsea?
Perhaps the media agenda was to get Costa banned so they wouldn't have to endure 90 minutes of "Diego, Diego, Diego" for a while. Jokes aside the chant is a little repetitive now.

Raheem Sterling to Chelsea
His finishing is lacklustre from what I've seen of him.

Chelsea v Spurs LC Final 01/03/15 KO 16:00 GMT
Their only real threats are hurrykane and Eriksen so if we can keep them quiet then we should easily. But nothing is won on paper. If we play to even 80-90% of what we are capable of then we will win. We're a better team than they are. The 5-3 as aforementioned was a blue moon result. Also can't help but think Bamford could be our very own Harry Kane given the chance.

Marco Reus to Chelsea?
Apparently when asked about Barca he was quoted as saying "and where would I play" so he doesn't want to benchwarm. That rules out Madrid, Barca, Bayern and Chelsea. He wouldn't start over Hazard for us. Or Ribery at Bayern. So that leaves United and Arsenal really. Don't see him going to PSG.

Marco Reus to Chelsea?
I can see him at Arsenal.. it is possible as Arsenal do have a small German collective. Ozil, Mertesacker, Gnabry. At Chelsea we don't have any German players (anymore). Other than Arsenal I see Munich as an option. Although there have been rumours he's agreed to sign for Madrid which I'm not sure about.

André Schürrle to leave in January?
Schurrle should have been alternating with Hazard as a left sided attacker. Instead he's been rotating with Willian and Salah at RW. I think given the chance Schurrle in his preferred position would be very dangerous. Even more so than usual.

Chelsea vs Man City - 31st Jan, 5:30 GMT
That wasn't my preferred choice of lineup haha was trying to second guess the line up Jose would pick. I think he knows that the game means more for City then us so won't be going all out for the win. A draw suits us better than them. Sp I expect us to frustrate them and counter attack which ramires is more suited to than oscar. Having mikel keeps us solid in midfield and relieves Matic of some of the workload.

Maybe Matic Mikel in the middle and Ramires on the right with Hazard in the middle and Willian on the left.

Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea .... Done!
Think he'll fit in well with the current dynamic of the team. But really don't want to see Schurrle go he made a big impression on a lot of the fans even with limited opportunities. Goalscoring is an art that shouldn't be underestimated. He had the very likeable knack of being in the right place more often than not. Whatever he lacked in defensive ability he made up for going forward, very reminiscent of Thomas Muller - hardly spectacular to watch but lethal in his own way. Back to topic Cuadrado has played as Rwb on occasions so should be more than familoar with what will be asked of him. P.s not really a fan of the revolving door policy at Chelsea atm but saying that the majority of departures have regarded players he hadn't brought in. Still in transition? I feel Salah had a lot of potential but showed very little in his runouts against lower league opposition.

Chelsea vs Man City - 31st Jan, 5:30 GMT
I think the City team will include Lampard over Fernando and I don't expect Jovetic to start. I don't see us conceding but om the other hand if Fabregas and Costa are out I don't see how we will either unless Remy starts. The only advantage in playing Drogba is set pieces and mentality. But in open play Remy for me. I feel a 0-0 with a sending off for City. Also any ideas on what the reception for Lamps will be like. Judging by some of the posts on here and another forum I had a read of, it will be pig's heads being thrown.

Arguable but Zouma's pace saved him a few times Tuesday. Cahill's reading of the game is ahead of Zouma's atm.

This has become a must not lose rather than a must win. Wouldn't mind seeing Matic, Mikel and Ramires as a midfield 3 with Willian, Hazard and REMY up front. Remy was signed as our ss so give him an opportunity now that one has appeared. He's done well in his very limited opportunities so let's see how he copes on Saturday. Back 5 I think should be the strongest 5 available. Azpi, Terry, Cahill and Iva with Courtois in goal.
