People are wondering why our potential deals scream Willian... It's because he's sub-par. That may be my unpopular opinion but we're getting rid of salah and Schürrle because they don't produce, and we're aiming for some players to compete with Willian because he's struggling. In my opinion he holds onto the ball too long every time, and can't finish.

The top 6 are pretty much set in stone, it's the back line and keeper positions that leave us guessing. I'm going to go with courtois, Ivanovic/Zouma/Terry/Azpilicueta. Only Ivan because of his skill to win 50/50 balls, and zouma because I think Gary has been lacking. Regardless of the squad, I'm hoping for a 3-1 win.

I think it's a huge advantage to have two world class goalkeepers. Right now they are both playing at the top of their game, imo. I don't see why Mourinho can't alternate them until one proves he deserves to be the #1 and/or one fails and shows he has to be the backup.

Bony has officially signed at Man City, so he's out. I'm hoping for: Courtois (or cech. I like them both) Dave, Cahill, JT, Luis (I think Ivan needs a break) Matić, Fabregas Remy, Oscar, Hazard Costa I'm personally not a huge Willian fan other than his song, and I think although Remy is a striker he could slide into the CAM spot. I feel like Willian holds the ball too long 90% of the time he receives it, and although he does take some great shots on target, they're rarely away from the keeper.

I think it's more of a teal, but I see your point regardless. I actually really like that color as part of the uniform, especially in our third kit (which looks great). I debated buying the third kit but I decided on the home kit because imo it's the best home shirt in awhile and they wear it more often on the pitch.

So this isn't all too relevant just my 2 cents: I'm American and I dream of eventually visiting the Bridge to see Chelsea play and I honestly can't fathom how this can be a problem (I know it is, I'm just saying it sounds odd). I don't understand why fans blame tourism because honestly I think if you're a tourist, paying to see a Chelsea game (out of all the other teams in London), at the bridge, you sure as hell better be a Chelsea fan and be willing to sing your heart out. It's something I would love to have the experience of, because our popular sports don't really have that kind of support where fans sing the entire game. I think native Chelsea fans that aren't singing need to decide whether or not they really care about the club and sell their tickets to someone who will!

Then maybe they'll facilitate the Messi move, since barça is also sponsored by them? Just joking, but if that happens I guarantee someone will make the connection.

Funny, that's exactly why I don't like Schürrle. Yeah, he can run for days but he takes too many of those careless long shots: and you can see how ineffective those have been, two all season. I think Schürrle is an okay player and that Reus is a superb one, a great deal and a smart upgrade.

I'm thinking maybe Courtois Ivan - Terry - Zouma - Dave Matić - Fabregas Remy - Oscar - Hazard Costa Either this or a 4-4-2 with Remy and Costa up top. I know Remy is a striker but i think he could fit into a cam position like last game.

All this Messi transfer talk I've been seeing worries me a bit. Ignorant American here but: A. Doesn't barça have a transfer ban? B. Wouldn't spending the big money on him mess with financial fair play or whatever? Also, look at this: yes, he's a legendary player. A legendary scorer. No doubt it would be great to have him. But I believe he's past his prime form and going downhill, as Ronaldo has surpassed him now and he doesn't score nearly as much. He's so ingrained in the barça system, the team runs around him. I'm afraid a different system and his lack of elite Messi form here at Chelsea could mean he'll be taking the downhill of his career here- not what we want to see.
