I have followed the Chelsea fancast podcast since it started, great group of Chelsea fans on there. The Chels one is a lot newer but still a good listen.

It would be a mistake to let DD go, he still has a lot to offer to the team. But, if he is allowed to leave, it is imperative that it isn't to another EPL team.

To be honest I criticise sala as much as anyone, because his first touch is often awful, but, that also makes him unpredictable, and difficult to defend against. We have a really strong squad and unfortunately, that means players will miss out on starting. They must be professional enough to accept this, or move on. Football, nowadays, is a squad game, and the players are all very well recompensed, and should not throw a wobbler if they aren't starting. All that said, its called talksh*te for a good reason.

I said a win any way we could get it was what was needed before the game, but no way did I see that coming. All I can say in commiseraration to those muppets is HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

completely agree loz, why tip off citeh before they have bought yet another player. Only trouble is that Adebayor is now at Real, so they are only back up to their original number of players. Contrary to popular opinion, maybe our hierarchy are finally coming to terms with all this.

Wanted us to sign him in the summer, but not at the prices quoted. Price hasn't changed, so still not sure , can only hope Carlo is fully involved in every part of these deals. The mousers are having a real meltdown about this, bloody brilliant.

Roman needs to make a decision pretty quickly, and needs to go one of two ways. Either he dips deeply into his pocket again, either now or in the summer. Or he tells Carlo to integrate the youngsters properly into the team regardless of the repurcussions for this season.

We could take a loan punt on Adebayor, I know he comes with lots of baggage, but someone, somewhere is going to get the best out of him, and believe me he has the capability to be one of the best strikers around.

very true, just saw that spuds have reportedly offered 1.5 million for him, admittedly only on the rumours page on BBC sport, and thought he was worthy of a mention on here.

Apparently available for £3 million quid, could do a job out wide for us, any thoughts ?

Unfortunately the ridiculous wages being paid mean, more or less, all players are mercenaries these days. They pledge allegiance to one club, and then, immediately take the biggest wage on offer. Unless Citeh take the upcoming financial fairplay regulations seriously, everyone else is f**ked. Not even the likes of Real can match them if money is the only criteria.

Benayoun has been missed, but so have Ballack,Deco and Belletti, all could have done a job for us. But the powers that be have decided to trim costs and we are now paying the price. To be honest, we have not been playing well for some time, but having said that, all that is missing are a few lucky breaks in front of goal.

Ballack is the player we should have kept. I know he has been injured a lot this season in Germany, but a fit Ballack would have negated a lot of the problems we've faced during this injury crisis. The thing that really amazes me were the amount of people saying we weren't missing Frank, just because we started so well. Lamps is probably still our most important player, and we need him fit and firing on all cylinders as soon as he returns to the team. KTBFFH.
