Agreed, Drogba may be injured for the game as well. What with Fabregas, Rooney, Gallas and Arshavin all injured in the last two games, getting knocked out of the CL is looking to be going our way !

I think the lads will be really up for this one, for me everything looks as though it is falling into place. We have had a stinker of a season with regards to the tabloids and injuries. I personally am more worried about Nani and Valencia running at Paulo and Yuri but I think if we dwell on that too much we will forget to score. I reckon we should just go for it, put 2 past them in the first half and they will crumble without Rooney on the pitch.

I think most questions about formation and players are simple, we need to play 4 3 3 and I think Drogba will replace Anelka. The really really testing decision is, does Carlo swap Deco for Ballack ? Will Deco be able to handle Fletcher and his nastiness ?

Joe gave it his all today, I still just think he is out of form. Deco gives us that little bit of creativity, both himself and Mikel played great together, created lots of space in order for Deco to find that pass.
