  1. He's on the wane. This is a good day for us and a bad, bad day for Manchester United. In one season, everyone, including the United fans who have talked themselves into thinking he's the second coming, and the deluded on The Shed End who think he could do no wrong, will see him exactly as I do: a sh*tehawk, a bully, a charlatan, a fraudster and a c**t.
  2. I can't believe there's folk here talking as if these players are lifeless commodities that we can just sell, put in a box and FedEx them off to China. The players will be uprooting their entire lives and changing the course of their careers. Neither Willian or Oscar are at the over-the-hill stage and I would imagine still have plenty of ambition. Ramires arguably had nothing else to achieve in European football and was approaching 30, but that's not the case for Willian, certainly not Oscar. The decision will ultimately come down to them. The only way I see them saying 'yes' to China is if they have a very persuasive agent.
  3. Ludicrous? The undercurrent of racism from a certain section is as clear as day.
  4. I'll make my feelings on the individual/fraud known in good time, but it can't also be ignored that there was one obvious deal for a central defender on the cards last summer. Toby Alderweireld. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/585748/Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-defender-transfer-ne A defender at the perfect age, who would have cost a quarter of what the unproven, overrated John Stones did. Actually, we wouldn't have had to pay anything as Atletico were quite desperate to have Filipe Luis back and were virtually giving Alderweireld away. Our board would have easily engineered that deal if given the go ahead. But someone clearly stood in their way. He's been Spurs best defender this season, arguably the best in the Premier League and had come off the back of a very good year at Southampton where he had shown his versatility. Unfortunately for us, some muppet clearly didn't rate him and wasted the opportunity. Mourinho ****ed up. Again. It's been a long running theme.
  5. It takes a special kind of twat to do something like that, but that's Jose Mourinho at his absolute best. I hope every pigeon he comes across tomorrow sh*ts all over him, because in effect, that's what he's repeatedly done to us.
  6. De Bruyne would not have been a hinderance. In any way. Mourinho f**ked up. Again.
  7. I'd try and get good money for him in the summer.
  8. He was great yesterday when he had to be, and puts yet another black mark against the fraud, charlatan and sh*tehawk known as Jose Mourinho.
  9. You'd have to be an incredibly stupid individual not to appreciate what De Bruyne had to offer, then and now.
  10. What a ****ing shambles. And it has Mourinho's stench of s**t all over it.
  11. Neither did Mourinho's asset stripping.
  12. On the plus side, this attempt to avoid the Europa League is going rather smoothly.
  13. Mourinho Masterclass.
  14. He's about third in line for managerial credit for 2012, and as good as asset stripped our squad the first time round. As for also rans, in 2013/14, Torres, Eto'o and Ba as his strikeforce wasn't the brightest idea and in his first season back where he should have had weight and clout behind him, he could have easily rectified that. He didn't and we came up short when it mattered. He gets an unbelievably free ride there for what was a colossal mistake, particularly then if you're stupid enough to slag said strike force off and get caught doing it. Ultimately though, he finished third in a league season where Brendan Rodgers bettered him point for point. As for the players you mentioned, take Diego Costa. Mourinho signed a striker who'd come off the back of a 36 goal season and then damaged him in such a way that Hiddink has now got more goals out of him in two months than what Mourinho managed in the whole of 2015. Special.
  15. He won't. But that’s a bet for those among us who think he’s the "closest guarantee to winning a trophy" to make, not me. I’m not only confident that he won’t make a success of the United job, but that he’ll also make a monumental cockup of the job too, so there’s a few more terms (which let’s remember aren’t get out clauses, they’re all weighted against me, I only have to trip up on one and it's a full donation I'm making). -- In my very first line, I went out my way to say between the start and end of next season. Which unless football has changed, means kick-off on the opening day to the final whistle on the final day of the season. In your infinite wisdom, you pick a point that's clearly before the start of the season to attack me with. Good work. -- Spend as much money as you like, but build something while you’re doing it. That’s his limitation though, He can’t work with what he’s been given and he can’t build for the long term. ‘Rip it up and start again’ is his only way, and it’s just not the right approach for any club trying to establish themselves in a time where every penny counts. He had to find a better way, but he didn’t. He failed, leaving us burnt out and a point or two off the relegation zone. And as for low net spend, the Individual deserves no applause for inheriting a promising squad, selling off some great young talent and then squandering the money on players we’ve had to loan to Italy just to get them out of our hair, players who aren't fit enough to make the bench and players he’s then unable (due to his own limitations) to get a tune out of after twelve months. -- I did. Once upon a time, he was a great young manager who was well worth celebrating. Now he’s a spent force, a footballing coward and not a very nice man to boot (I think the term I used before was ‘sh*tbag'). -- Bit of a random request, but ok: Great player, nice kid. Wrongly characterised by many as being arrogant and having a massive ego. I think he’s genuinely struggled with the demands of carrying an attack. A lot was placed on his shoulders by the previous manager and I think as a club we let him down over the summer by not identifying a star performer to take the strain and attacking responsibility off him. Although we did sign Pedro, there is a genuine conundrum about Oscar’s consistency and that makes us short of genuine, reliable quality across the band of three. I dread to think what would have happened if Willian didn’t step up in such a way. We need to do more this summer. Long term, you cannot burn out players or get away with playing the same names week in week out if you're playing 50 plus games a season. Absolute idiocy from the previous manager and thankfully he's paid the price. I don’t like how the Press constantly throw Hazard into the Messi v Ronaldo debate and make it seem like he’s failing or falling short. Talent wise at least, he’s on a level with the likes of Bale, Reus, Ribery and Robben and there’s no shame in that. It’s a great place to be. I think he’s coming back into form and contributing more as the season goes on. European Championships and World Cups must weigh on a player’s mind though, particularly one who is a flag bearer for his country and has underwhelmed in a previous tournament. Maybe he is guilty of saving himself a bit. As for us though, I think he owes us some big performances at the business end of the season. And he knows it. Hopefully he can carry that out, starting tonight. He will leave us one day, but I hope he genuinely stretches himself at a Real Madrid, if still interested, rather than take an easy option like a Bayern or PSG. I hope we hold on to him for as long as we can and if still around, I hope the next manager (Conte?) truly values him because it will be incredibly difficult to replace him.
  16. Ok, I'll make a £100 donation to this site if Mourinho is appointed by Manchester United and any one of the following three events fail to happen between the start and end of next season: Based on results, one respected former Manchester United player/coach goes as far to call Mourinho's appointment a mistake. At least three well known journalists/pundits question Mourinho's reputation as a top manager and his ability to still get results. And, taking into account how he'll spend a significant amount of money to cover up his increasingly obvious limitations: He'll still finish five or more points behind the eventual champions /or/ outside the top two. Like I said, he is done as a top manager and next season will prove that.
  17. It's only match fitness or sharpness he needs. With Remy and Falcao being consistently unreliable with even making matchday squads, Pato will be a handy rotation option out wide or through the middle for the last six weeks of the season, particularly if we're still in both cups and trying to finish as high as we can in the league.
  18. I hope Leicester actually go and win it before that game so we don't accidentally do Arsenal or Spurs a final day favour, but as for a presentation taking place, I'm not that bothered by that at all.
  19. He sabotaged our season because he's a busted flush who didn't have it in him to make us challenge for the title again. His tried and tested methods are bringing about success in ever decreasing circles and he'd already exhausted all his tricks. His back was against the wall, so he as good as tried to set fire to the place to claim on the insurance. Just as well we've got half a season to febreze his foul stench out of the place. The only mistake we made was to not sack the sh*tbag sooner.
  20. Laugh it up all you want, I'll be back in twelve months and then three years to collect my winnings on this one.
  21. Some people on here need to stop their whining/moaning/mourning. Mourinho deserved to be sacked. He is DONE as a top manager and Manchester United will find that out to their great cost next season. He was floundering and being outfoxed, week in, week out. He was a cretinous, insufferable bore and he massively failed us this season, on and off the pitch. Our future will be brighter without him.
  22. God no. He had to go. An antiquated, outmoded manager, a tactical coward and an unhealthy presence for any club. His time as a top manager is over and if he doesn't have a re-think and reinvent himself, then it will stay that way.
  23. Did you see us between February and May? We were like a burnt out car with an empty tank trying to make it to the nearest Texaco. We give him more time and we're going down. The club comes first, not Mourinho. Too much damage has been done already and we're going to struggle to hold onto our best assets. Replacing them will prove to be incredibly difficult too.
