Carling Cup 3rd Round: Hull away
what about Sahar, you know, isn't he Jewish too, so surely this means Roman and Grant will have to play him now!!!!

The Club are a f**king disgrace!
I am merely going to mirror much of what has been said on here. I think that the timing of losing Jose is a HUGE mistake. I am only glad that we played Man U away from home on sunday, as it would have been horrible to have seen Jose walk out/get sacked, and the have our perfect home record taken away that very same week. I remember when Avram Grant was appointed, there were people on here who said things about him being Jewish, and Israeli, etc; I really don't think that has anything to do with it. What I do think, is that Roman is looking to surround himself with "yes" men, who will do anything he asks for, as long as the fat pay checks keep coming in! I also share the opinnion that Roman needs to hire advisors, but I think his ego will not let him do that. this season, I feel, will be a disaster, and we will struggle big time to make the CL. Only after that, aybe only making the UEFA, will Roman see that he does not have what it takes to run a club the way he envisions it, and we will hire in a solid, tactical manager with an eye for creative football. Either that, or we will become the EPL's version of Hearts in the SPL Scott

Is it time for citing on football?
I know you are not a fan of video replays Loz, but I think that it has to happen. Only when the ball is dead though (to see if it was a goal or not, off side rulings after a goal is scored, etc. And I also think that a chip or something in the ball so we can tell if all the ball has crossed the line. It is time Football caught up with the times, and I also think citing is a good idea, but there needs to be set rules on what can be cited. For eample, can you give Stevie Me a card for his blatant dive against Bolton, that then led to a penalty and Liverpool ebating Bolton? Or, can we say taht goal should never have been, and change the result? I am not really one for changing a result after the final swhistle has been blown, but I certainly think that video replays could be worthwhile. Mikel's red card, I just read, has failed to go through an appeal to the FA, so it could just lead to more corruption, because honestly, everyone who seen it said it was NO WAY a red card, and yet the FA are doing nowt about it???

Frogs vs Jocks
wow, you sound like that idio for Sky who said that Drogba's goal against Everton was due to bad defending. Both were great strikes, that caught the keeper off guard. I don't think you should deny the fact taht they were both great strikes. I truly hope you were being sarcastic, and I don't mean to call you an idiot...merely the bloke on Sky

goal line and other decision supporting technology
I think that there is a strong case for, and I think we will soon see, goal line technology. At least then the ball is dead, so the techno can't be used to slow down the game by managers challenging every contentious decision. But a goal line/offside decision should be easy because the ball is dead anyway

Chelsea vs Blackburn Game Build Up
I agree, but I think that we will set out quite defensive, adn then bring on kalou etc to attack in the end

I went for ...................cech belletti...terry...alex....cole ..............maka ...mikel.................essien swp..........................malouda .................pizarro With Sheva, Kalou, J Cole, Haim, adn sidwell on the bench, I think I also predicted us going 0-1 down, to come back for a 1-1 draw! Sorry, but blackburn are tough

Kaka or Ronaldo.....no thanks
WOW!!!!! great praise indeed, I only hoe he does turn out as good as those mentioned, and breaks into the first team. I really think a good run of games as a starter for us, and we might see some greatness from him

Speak up Bluebeard and Mad Mac!
Vive L'eccosse What a result, had a few drinks to celebrate that one, but I am not counting my chickens before they ahve hatched. Also, in this Euro qualifying there are NO life lines. The top 2 from each group go through, and that is all. No 3rd place, nothing. Top 2 or your out!

Frogs vs Jocks
Hope that about sums it up, what a belter of a GOAL, and yes I am now rising SOOOOOO high on the passion of possibly seeing scotland make the Euros, that I can't wait for the ultimate fall when we lose our remaining 3 games. COME ON MCLEISH!!!! and yes, totally forgot about the keeper, should have had him in the team (Chelsea)

Frogs vs Jocks
Forgot to say, my choices would be either Darren Fletcher, Kris Boyd or Miller. I think they area all decent attacking players, and if Fletcher wasn't so lightweight, then I feel he could be pretty usefull. He has a good engine, and his passing is more than decent. Boyd and Miller, just to feed off the scraps of Drogba. remember, these are just CURRENT Scotland players I wouldn't mind seeing in Chelsea colours. Not who I think should be, nor who I want, in the team! Scott

Frogs vs Jocks
I have to admit, like all Scottish supporters, I was delighted, and somewhat shocked that Scotland managed to beat the French last time out. Okay it was at Hampden, and I think France may have been without a couple of star players. However, it was a great win for our lads, and it actually has given us a glimmer of hope for reaching the championship proper. However, with Italy in the same group, I just don't see us getting past both France and Italy. So, once again, it will be heart break for the tartan army. Tomorrow sees us off to the Stade de France to take them on, and Dommenech is ladeling us as "dangerous." I think, though, the French will totally outclass us and put us to bed with a resounding thrashing...well I think a 2-0. However, Scotland are riding high on a crest of confidence, so they may go and really try to "strong arm" the French out of the game. Strong tackles, 90 minutes of pure adrenaline fueled aggression...now if only all McCoist was about 20 years younger! Any predictions, and also (now this is a long shot) but if you could choose one CURRENT Scottish palyer to be on the Chelsea side...who'd it be? Scott Scott

Given better than Cech
According to y*ddo striker Robbie "crap celebration" Keane, they (the Irish Republic) have the best keeper in the world in Shay Given, and not, soon to be fellow opposition, the Czech Republic. Now I know that all teams should have a sense of loyalty to one another, and will occasionally "smack" talk. But this is obviously the result of one too many drinks shrouding good judgement, surely! Best bahaved supporters in the land??
yeah amte, you are right. just can't stand how biased the media are towards Liverpool, and against Chelsea. Last season all teh scoucers caused problems by trying to storm the gates of a stadium in Europe, trying to use old tickets, adn then kicking it off with the police when asked to move along. The media then said that it was the polices fault. Nothing about Liverpool causing stress and mayhem at yet another ground in europe! F em all!
-
Best bahaved supporters in the land??
yeah, we are bad. because in the past few years, we've robbed our own, caused trouble in europe wherever we have went, and had one of our own supporters sent to jail for stabbing another fan dead after one of our greatest nights in europe! Scott

Led Zeppelin have........
I got my US Tour 1977 led Zep t-shirt on right now. If they tour, I'm going. I went to see the Who at Madison Square Garden, on the tour right after Entwistle died. Opening for them was Robert Plant. It was great to hear, but without Paige up there too, it just wasn't the same! Scott
