  1. Gloryhunter not really they have proven tough in past years, especially the couple of times we had Di Canio score against us, and the game aat Villa where Angel scored a screamer against us! They have proven more than tough for us!
  2. 0-0 at the half, and now we have the injury worry of Essien! Can't believe Tyler actually said"I am sure there are many who can't feel sorry for Chelsea with their injury worries!' Pr**K Scott
  3. well, it looks as if Villa are trying hard for a low score draw, or even hope to nick a goal and take this game 1-0. They are parking it all infront of the goal, and looking quite dangerous on set pieces, especially without Boulah now. And with teh way we are letting in goals lately (the worst run in premiership history for Chelsea, by the way) we really need to take any chances that we get, and we are not doing it. Usually I wouldn't be too worried, but these past few games have done nothing to boost any confidence. We are dominating posession, stringing some good passes together, but nothing in the end. Also Villa have been keeping our wide ment pretty quiet. Hope we get a goal soon Scott
  4. oh no.....another CB gone! Geremi at RB with Paulo into CB to partner Ricky......why don't we have Mancienne on the bench?
  5. I really hope Kalou can find his shooting boots because right now he is showing promise, getting into good positions, and we are left asking agin. Now Boulah is off injured for some treatment with Essien (who has looked industrious in midfield) dropping into CB to cover for Boulahrouz Scott
  6. aye, and they are parking a lot of players infront of the goal whenever we have posession. Thus forcing us to lots of passing around but no real penetration...and inevitably Frankie shooting from long range
  7. nice little shot blocked by Hilario, hope that will build his confidence. It was a great turning shot by Villa, and the player was offside, but Hilario had at least saved the shot before the whistle went Very eve game so far, good ebb and flow, I just hope our missed chances don't cost us, as they have had one or two moments when they have looked dangerous, especially from set pieces Scott
  8. what a MISS!!!! Drogba, after great play from Paulo, and Sweepy to break for Essien, and a great ball into Drogba with the goal wide open...he misses and may have pulled something in the effort!
  9. great line up, I really hope we get UP for this one!!! COME ON THE CHELS Celery, Celery If she don't come we'll tickle 'er bum with a lump of celery
  10. okay, back to the match? Anyway, boulah is back, and ballack is suspended so to me the team should line up as follows ...................................hilario ....PF....................Boula.....Ricky...............Cole ...................................maka .........................essien........lamps .................................kalou ...........................sheva.....drogba However, I think that we could also see sheva dropped and have Kalou and sweepy on the flanks Scott
  11. honestly if Mcartney hadn't been in the beatles I think i would hate him!
  12. Captain sensible, who was in the GREAT band, the damned, who produced great songs such as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPJEr2SVFME Then went on to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZfO1Po-sts And also this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4SdI9gboCo (okay so this isn't sensibles version....couldn't find it on youtube!)
  13. Terry, just been really good all season, an ideal captain. Then Essien then Drogs, but the difference between the three of them is miniscule! Drogs has been more of a revelation this season, but still great for us Scott
  14. Superb post Mate, next time I meet you (or shoud that be when) the drinks are on me. I agree totally with all said. Scott
  15. well mate, I am getting bored of your typical "i'm a scoucer get me out of here" mentality when it comes to accepting blame! An independent study...that is all you have to go on? Look at what heppened, not just at hillsborough, but Heisel! A british team, LIVERPOOL, caused a major tragedy, which force European football into revising standing areas. THAT IS FACT! Scoucers are a bad bunch of fans, but you cling on to your history (the good parts) and claim innocence. When a true look at your history would show that you, and your fans, are one of the main reasons why all seater stadiums exist. now correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think i am, the main topic of this conversation was about a standing area, not about liverpool's history. And unfortunatley due to your sh*t history we have to realize that a standing area ain't going to hapen
  16. I'm not claiming that the police were completely faultless, that i know they were. However, you can not aintain that liverpool fans were completely faultless too? If you do, then mate you are the ignorant one! And back to the main point AGAIN, it is because of scouce fans that all standing will never beallowed...heisel, and Hillsborough testify to that, so well done Scott
  17. Rob, you can talk about things that heppened recently in regards to lots of your fans going to games without tix, and nothing happened. The reality of the situation is, that before all seating grounds were introduced you and your fans were responsible for the killing of people. Tis whole debate came around in light of some of us wanting all standing areas back. then someone said it would never happen because of scoucers...heisel, hillsborough...all you lot, and the reasons why we are all seater. That, you can't argue. Scoucers cling to their history, adn talk shi* to Chelsea that we have none, then in the next breath claim that we were responsible for Heisel, just because it was a dark period in your history adn as usual scoucers are acting angelical in the whole situation...passing the buck, so US!!!! Get a grip mate, and admit you are wrong!
  18. good spot...all he is missing is a red arm band!
  19. F*ck that, scoucers piled into hillsborough without tickets...caused the police to panic, and a disaster struck, you can't calim that you as liverpool fans are completley lameless. I half the travelling fnas hadn'tarrived without tickets, and then tried to bully their way into the ground, then we would not be having this conversations. As for Heisel, I am not claiming it to be on the same grounds as Hillsborough: however, several Liverpool fans have, in the past, slaimed complet innocence in the events there...saying that it was Chelsa (and, or) millwall fans that casued the riots, and not Liverpool fans. That, my friend is ignorrance. If you are gonne walk about Europe, thinin your team and the fans are this sh*t thenat least be responsible for your fu*king actions! I bet there are a ton of familis in shffield and Turin that hate liverpool too, so what's your excuse! Scott
  20. don't forget Barn that it was also (according to Liverpool fans) actually Chelsea's fault that Heisel happened! Scott
  21. the scoucers will claim that at least their dirty laundry is out in the open, and that Roman is still an enigma! However, if this were to go ahead, would Britain allow a company that was being investigated in matters such as child kidnapping and trafficking to invest into Liverpool? Also, if there is any truth in the matter, then I hope that we realize just how tough it is all going to become for us to dominate! I also think that real focus will be placed on the managers in future, and not just the players! I am hereby advocating that we offer Jose a contract until the year 3000 Scott
  22. i too think that diarra will be gone in the jan tran window...so he might not even be here with teh fixture being played on teh 6th of january? Scott
  23. true, and remember when the next one came out, it ws that fast they had to administer epeleptic warnings about teh game and the quickness of the screens!! Scott
  24. I was in the anti-Drogba camp up until the last few weeks of last season. I thought he was crap, and I hated his whinging, and theatrical rolling around after being tackled - even his most ardent fans can't deny that he was a real drama queen Towards the end of last season, he turned it around, and he hasn't looked back since. I rate him very highly now - his confidence is sky-high, and his work-rate is second to none. He's finally looking like a world class forward, something I've got to admit I never thought I'd see. I'm really pleased that I've been proved wrong, let's hope he can keep up his excellent form. Be interesting to see if all the people slagging off Shevchenko and Ballack will give them credit when they start doing the business on a regular basis Me too, on all accounts Scott
  25. almost forgot, anyone ever play a game called Megalomania. You were one of four overlors who could form alliances, and you progressed through time enochs building empires and attacking others. truly great, although at the end you had to attack quickly with nuclear weapons!!! Scary as then the next level you fought with lazers Scott
