Don’t know but he’s been the most disappointing signing so far I can remember was really looking forward to him coming into a team playing well and seeing if he could help with Werner in this system. Huge gaps in between the cbs and Cm today will happen I’m 100% sure unless kova sits for Kante which takes away 70% of his game.

Happy for Werner like it or not he’s all of a sudden along with Mount looking like our most dangerous attacker. And certainly the best so far under tuchel out of Abraham and Giroud for fitting the system. Worrying for Chillwell. Kovacic in the last 20 mins was really poor. He grew out of the game and Jorginho grew into it. Kante really poor again can’t believe another recklessly given away free kick. Mendy - brilliant not his fault rudiger is on the spectrum. James - Decent Mount - our best player.

Kante was dire when he came on. Wasn’t anywhere near a Tottenham player when we were defending then he literally wasn’t marking anyone not within 15 yards of a player. Dreadful booking too. I think Tuchel only pulled kova because of how angry him just toe poking the ball out when he made that run and had Werner and pulisic wide open hope he sees quickly that Kante isn’t the same version he thought he was signing and doesn’t persist with it.

I must of missed them honestly didn’t see that.. saw him running into channels and dragging defenders out then passing into alonso/mount which was good work for the team and thought he looked quite sharp and involved .. also he nearly scored with a 20 yard header after 13 seconds ?! I feel two ways about this I’ll be honest I’m excited to see what Tuchel can do and excited to see our squad perform to it’s best. I on the other hand am fuming that it seems certain players have stopped us seeing the best of our squad with lamps managing. so who hasn’t wished him well and basically proven they was against him ? Kepa, Werner, Rudiger, Jorginho, Havertz, Kante, Kovacic, and Alonso oh and that tramp Drinkwater. All deafening with there silence.

I read all of these and occasionally try fight a case with you against the absolute delusion with world class Kante and hate of Jorginho but I am lazy and usually just lurk as I’m a stoner. I literally can’t believe This has happened with Kante because I remember when there was PSG rumours last summer for 86m and I felt insulted and annoyed they even tried to get him. Fast forward to now and bar 1 performance in the super cup against Liverpool Where I thought he’s amazing and fit again and then he got injured again, for lampard i don’t recognise him!! I really don’t though sometimes I’m watching him closely and really trying to be objective and see what he offers currently and I can’t see it, he’s not winning duels, he looks like he just charges at people but with no pace like they see him coming from 10 yards away and jumps in the air turning his back. He looks slow, he looks like he’s getting outmuscled in duels, his positioning is so strange, him and Jorginho who I’ve recently realised is guilty of this too they leave huge gaps with bad pressing and huge gaps between the front 3 in the 4-2-3-1.They do a worse job with the space between them and the defense we get counter attacked savagely because of it. The difference is when I ask myself what does Jorginho compared to Kante it’s night and day because Kante offers nothing going both ways at the minute.
