And we already have left footed Ziyech. Werner = end product, bags of potential, Hazard. Havertz = huge potential being tipped for the top, Oscar. Benrahma = lesser known diamond in the tough, cheap. For me the thing I’m most hoping to see is Tomori start, it’s a guarantee they set up to counter so the most important thing for us defensively is pace and that means Tomori is tailor made for the game alongside Rudiger. If we go in a 3 of zouma rudi and Tomori we will struggle breaking them down as they will be set up exactly like us in a 3. So Tomori - Rudiger is important we don’t need to focus on aerial ability as much with them having Kane missing so zouma is not necessary imo and to be honest I just can’t be arsed even considering Christensen I feel he is the most error prone defender we have for a brain fart since Luiz left

Agree, mounts best game for me was actually away against United first game of the season Where we got hammered, that’s literally the best I’ve seen him over 70-80 mins he was immaculate and looked phenomenal he doesn’t look anything like that player as the season goes on

His biggest mistake is ever messing with Jorginho and Kovacic partnership, it was working beautifully he shoehorned Kante in to try sure us up defensively but the problem was average cb’s not the cm’s and now both are out of form and Kante is just not the player he was imo

He was crap today, passing it to zouma and rudiger is so depressing. him and Kovacic all of a sudden find themselves out of form since being rotated and Kante’s form is the worst out the three. I can understand lampard wanting to get Kante back in the team who wouldn’t, but it’s failed spectacularly tbf and is derailing our season.

Are you living on planet earth.. what has he done to warrant starting for a top four premier league team ? A 25 minute cameo against arsenal where he didn’t lose the ball and didn’t do anything decisive either ?

Whilst I’m at it I really don’t see what all the fuss is about with James. He got into good crossing areas in there area twice in first half and played two poor balls with his head down when he was about Five yards outside the 6 yard box and really should have out at least one of them on a plate. I love the idea of him but he’s nowhere near the player I thought he was going to be from being Wigan’s player of the season, not asking him to be Trent Alexander Arnold but he’s not added anything in any game I’ve seen to make us more dangerous down that right hand side.

Kante all of a sudden sprinting at there left back every game and then we lose the ball and have one CM trying to defend a counter attack is getting old fast too. That’s why we look so much better with Kovacic and Jorginho because they don’t just decide to leg it into the corner flag for no reason or at the wrong time

Mount was dreadful too today if we’re being honest for a number 10 it feels like he creates next to nothing and we’re all just so great full for his pressing. Funny that we all scratched our heads when Oscar made the team ahead of mata for his work rate. You have to realise we play 4 attackers : Abraham,Mount, Willian and Pulisic/CHO Abraham is class imo Mount is offering nothing but pressing Willian is Willian and has one good game in 4 Pulisic is so frustrating because he gets in good positions but his finishing and passing is so inconsistent and then there’s CHO that offers literally nothing can’t even get into the positions Pulisic can. so we have one decent attacker out of the four we play, I’d go big on Isco and Sancho, keep mount but sell CHO.

CHO is absoutely dreadful I’d get Sancho and let Dortmund have CHO plus 100m

We have been f**king sh*t today Kante sh*t mount sh*t pulisic and Willian sh*t zouma and rudiger sh*t lampard sh*t really don’t understand how he couldn’t see that coming we are sooooo blunt going forward and sooo bad at the back. How many posts have I read on here now saying “ it’s no good only being good against the good teams “ because of the spurs win, that was our first win against a big team bar ajax. We lost all the other games. When it was going well posters on here was moaning we have enough to out score the weak but couldn’t pull it off tactically against a top team. So we beat spurs and now can only get up for big games. I went on spurs forum after we beat them and they was having similar melt downs one even said it was abundantly clear that Kane after his injuries is not a patch on what Abraham is and they need to be replacing Kane with a striker like Abraham. Which I’m sure we all know as good as Tammy is that’s a hugely ridiculous post for a spurs fan. The Week before they beat Burnley 5-0 and they was saying Kane’s the best all round 9 in the world and under mourinho is in the form of his life. What about Adama Traore as a winger in January and then Sancho in summer also .. leave us with traore, cho, pulisic and sancho as wingers next season. Traore’s end product seems to have really improved he was amazing against city last night and his speed And directness and brute strength to bully his way through would be so valuable At breaking down teams at home. He is absoutely built to take the premier league by storm and is showing immense improvement in the technical side of his game.

I don’t understand why there is a huge war about Kovacic, Jorgi and Kante. IMO all 3 are genuinely world class. Kovacic is absoutely awesome but he’s human he lost the ball a few times dribbling in our own half and once in our box so he’s not perfect. Jorginho sometimes misplaces a pass or gets tackled and Kante sometimes misses a simple 10 yard pass. We are so lucky to have all 3 why can’t we rejoice in that without having to have a favourite and a least favourite and agenda’s.

But you do concede now that we are no more solid with Kovacic and Kante as we are with Jorginho right ? because we just got licked up 3-1 at Everton so just wondering who your going to blame it on been as there was no Jorginho and Kante was where you want him to be in our best midfield pairing “ that our coach finally agrees with you about “ so what’s going on ? Is it Jorginho why we get played through week after week still or has your opinion changed now you’ve seen it happens no matter who we play in CM

He’s a tool, look through his posts he absoutely loves slating Jorginho apart from when he was playing so well he had to say he was doing ok through gritted teeth but still managed to criticise him and say people are biased to how good he actually is but acts like Kovacic is the best midfielder defensively in the world and he’s totally justified in telling us all for ages what a liability Jorginho is because we beat villa at home 2-1 with Kova and Kante. Posts are totally agenda driven.
