Frankfurter reacted to axman2526 in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCGood video about who Clearlake are and what their business practice is all about.
-
Frankfurter reacted to Sconnie Blue in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCSurely there has to be some inside disgruntles within the board?
This is private equity money our co-directors are wasting, and all we have to show for it is going in circles with every billion spent. All the while our sister club, with a fraction of the investment, is the one most likely to achieve champions league football.

Frankfurter reacted to bluetrooper in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCDont forget Felix, Disasi, Sterling, Chilwell to come back in the summer. Going to be a happy camp.
-
Frankfurter reacted to axman2526 in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCMight be this summer, might be the one after it, but if we carry on like this and don't have CL football to offer our better players will leave.
Caicedo Linked to Saudi, Santos to stay at Strasbourg if they can offer CL football. More and more will follow suit. the best players will want CL football.
And we will Be left with players like Sanchez, Jackson and Tosin.

Frankfurter reacted to C3blue in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCI can only hope there’s another loophole coming, surely the people running the club have something up their sleeves cos they don’t even have a sponsor on it. Normally I couldn’t give a sh*t about the CL. Obviously other than our glory years when we were actually in it to win it. I never understood people’s obsession with being in it, above say winning the cup. For me top four was for the bean counters in the board room, cup finals and trophies were for the glory, the players and the fans. The tripe we have been served up this season would normally make me say I’d rather miss out if it meant this manager gone cos ffs he has to go and we’re a million miles away from being serious contenders but from all the numbers being touted about we need it badly…. Because of the stupid amounts wasted there are no beans left to count. And the owners, Sd’s, the manager. They are either doing their best swan impressions or they know something we don’t. Make it make sense?

Frankfurter reacted to evissy in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCAgain I am thinking of the Glazers and Manchester United here. I don't know everything about it but it's been constant fight between fans and the ownership.
Not sure this is the way. Better communication would be much better.
-
Frankfurter reacted to forbzy in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCYes but at least when Sarri was here, we had Roman in charge and there was always some optimism that his next pick would work better. While we are clearly stagnating under Maresca, this is only a symptom of a much bigger issue and one that is unlikely to get solved as long as Clearlake own us.
-
Frankfurter reacted to Zeta in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCIf you can say anything about this ownership, they've certainly caused more friction amongst the fanbase than any other ownership or manager I can remember. The forum has never been as angry and had as much in-fighting. We are all letting these clowns get between us as a fanbase. We should be united in trying to get these people out.
-
Maresca : "In the last two years, Chelsea have been in the top four zero times. This season, we have been in the top four most of the season. This is the reason why fans need to trust us"
Maresca doubles down on his style of play:
"The style is the right one, before Ipswich, we are the third best defence and third of fourth best attack"
Imagine any manager getting away with this statements under Roman
-
Maresca blames the fans for the result against Ipswich.
If the fans are to blame, then why the hell haven't we won an away PL match since December ?
-
Remember when he rested players against Brighton and went out the FA cup only to lose to them in the league the same week. I had to be reminded of that cos I fell asleep through most of it.
-
-
We have Fulham away and we decide to put out all of our best players here in a dead rubber, only to play awful and likely lose anyway, completely bottling any chance of CL football at this rate.
-
Yeah get him the f*ck out of this club.
-
This is exactly it. Poch is the one I would have given time to, other than Super TT of course. Poch ended his season strongly, is a proven project builder, and in my opinion he deserved a crack at the Europa Conference. It just seemed to be clicking when he was sacked.
The way it's looking, I don't think binning him off has helped us make any progress.
-
although Jackson often plays like he’s deaf, blind and missing limbs I’d rather him than maresca ball. He only ever should have been a back up striker, he can be a handful and cause problems anywhere up top off the bench and is still young enough to gain composure but I can’t do maresca ball. 25 passes just to get it out ur box is utter nonsense.
-
Maresca - "I'm not going to change."
If it wasn't easy already to defend against us, now he's made it even more.
-
My issue is of all the coaches we have had under these new owners, Enzo is the last one I would want to give time to.
-
No - I think the issue is Maresca.
I think we have some world class players . The likes of James, Caicedo and Palmer are all top top players. We then have others who, when used correctly and fit and also very good (Fofana, Nkunku), and a supporting cast of adequete players to support (Colwill, Cucu, Enzo, Madueke, Neto, Chalobah).
The squad that has been assembled by the SD's is more than good enough to compete and push towards the top of the league. You dont have to like the structure, but the fundementals of the squad are decent.
The problem is that Maresca is coaching them very poorly, and he has us playing in a slow, stagnent and predictable manner which is easy to play against. It is the style and snails pace of our predictable play that is the biggest problem. Not the profile of the players we have.
-
Should be played instead of the Liquidator at our next home game.
-
Of course, this is easy for me to say from my sofa, but the fans at the games need to start pointing their anger to Maresca specifically at games. We've seen managers ten times better than Maresca get stick at games, Sarri being the first that comes to mind. A manager can't try to turn our horrific form on the fans, when he's creating his own problems, and get away with it.
-
It pains me that the board overlooked Luis Enrique for poch. Seeing PSGs frontline have creative freedom, full backs offering support out wide and we have Maresca ball is very hard to watch
-
I think you are on drugs and 100% wrong.
Why is Maresca instructing the players to play so damn slowly?
Why is Maresca asking the players to pass it 500 times between the defenders, sideways, backwards, sideways, backwards, forwards, back to keeper and start again...?
Why is Maresca asking the players to be so unadventerous?
Why is Maresca asking the team to play such predictable football?
If Maresca doesn't want us playing like this, then why is he not changing the team?
I do not believe the players are the ones who are choosing the tactics, style and tempo. This is all on Maresca.
-
He is just so far out of his depth, we have 3 of the best overlapping fullbacks in the league (Chilli is the 3rd) and he makes them do this strange out of position lets get caught on the flanks all the time but offer nothing going forwards rubbish.
The club is a bit of a Joke. No sponsor for the whole season, because they arrogantly thought they deserved more then was on the table. Sacked a manager who was taking us in the right direction and hired a Btec Pep while trying to follow the brighton budget model, two philosophies completely at odds with each other. No stadium updates, quality players isolated while meh players are included in the squad.

who cares ABM (anyone but Maresca)
