  1. What is it about English teams this season?! How are they battering all the European teams this easily!!!
  2. Yep, would mean we're the only club out the top Prem teams in the Europa League.
  3. Come on Atletico! Stop fannying around and put these f**kers to the sword!!!!
  4. I think they will and I don't have any issues with that, needed a English winner since we were the last one. Liverpool are the only team I never want to win anything. Not because of the team themselves, I have no problem with them at all. They are currently one of the best teams in Europe at the moment, playing football that I wish we were capable of. What I can't stand is the fans. Worst fans in football bar none! I would rather their club went out of business than see them win another trophy! However, any other English team would have been preferable.
  5. Seems like a few posters are trying to convince themselves that Liverpool are not going to win the CL. I pray they don't, but they have the best attack in the world at the moment, with enough fire power to out-score anybody. I think some people need to prepare themselves for the worst, just in case they do win it again.
  6. Well this is getting a bit worrisome. Real do not look like the team we need them to be so they can knock Liverpool out of the competition. If they concede the way they are now, Liverpool will have a field day with them. f**k the CL!
  7. Liverpool winning the Champions League and Chelsea not qualifying for the Champions League is probably what I'd call a disappointing season! (Slight understatement might be in situe in my previous statement).
  8. Yes this myth about Liverpools defense seems to have carried on from last season. They have vastly improved in defense, especially since the turn of the year.
  9. I'm fearing the worst now, so I'm starting a media blackout early, just to be on the safe side. Can't be hearing about the Scousers becoming "Champions of Europe Elect"! If the worst does happen, I'll be getting my football news directly from the Official web site and here for the foreseeable!
  10. This^^ I had to google this guy to find out who he is. If he's been touted as the next JT, then surely he would be at a bigger club and playing for England. Especially as he is already 24!
  11. Old Shaggy replied to Kev56's topic in General Chelsea FC
It's not about him being ready or not. It's about whether he has the talent to compete for a place in our squad. And for that to happen he needs to be in the squad. I could sit here and write paragraph upon paragraph about why we have failed our youth players over the past decade or so, but I really haven't got the time (nor patients) to do so. But we will never know if any of our youth players (who have won sh*t loads of competitions over the past few years) are ready unless we give them the opportunity to prove so.
  12. BIB, we spent far more than Spurs!

If we can add Icardi, Bailey and Sessegnon to our squad for next season, I'd be delighted. Couple that with Hudson-odoi, Ruben and maybe Abraham in the squad, it'd be an interesting season, that's for sure.
  14. Come on guys, lets give it a rest now. I should have kept my mouth shut in the first place, it's not my place to tell people how they should support the club and for that I apologise. But lets not keep this going, it just ruins the thread.
  15. Anyone got his number? Give him a tinkle and see if he wants to start a bit earlier!
  16. Won't post in the match thread as it'll get lost in amongst all the emotion in there. But bloody hell what a depressing weekend! Hopefully that'll be the end for Conte and his negative tactics and we can move on with rebuilding for the future. I personally would let Jody Morris have a go until the end of the season and then start again in the summer with a new manager and a clear vision of where we want to be.
  17. You don't know me fella, don't try and belittle me on a football forum. Makes you look like a keyboard warrior.
  18. City finished 15pts behind us last season and improved enough to be 30pts ahead of us now. It's not impossible for us to improve next season, enough for us to chase them at least. And I don't think it's all about spending either. I do think our biggest improvement will come with a change in formation and playing philosophy. This sit back and counter game we have been playing no longer works in the current football climate. So to keep up with the pace setters, a change in our style is the first port of call. IMO of course.
  19. Yep, game over all ready. Let's hope we make it more of a title race next season. Can't let them have a clear run at it again!
  20. As me and you don't know each other, I'll end this conversation here, as it will only end in tears. All I can say is, the world is a huge place with lots of people, all with differing opinions and differing values. I might not agree with the way you support our club, but that doesn't mean sh*t in the real world, as it's up to you. Peace out.
  21. @RIP Mourinho & @yorkleyblue, I'm actually ashamed that you two are Chelsea fans. You seem like you're stuck in the good old days of Football hooliganism. I love my club, our history, and will follow our club through thick and thin. But I will never stoop to the levels you two have fallen to. I've never heard the type of comments you two have been spouting except for from Hammer, Spurs and Scouse fans. Never from the mouths of Chelsea!
  22. I agree with the CB being the weakest link for England. Most international footy is played at a Championship level, so could suit Terry for one last hurrah (Not that he has a chance in hell!). Still not convinced by our midfield options at the moment though. You know your thin on the ground when Henderson is your first choice!
  23. Never heard of him, but the couple of minutes I watched of the compilation I was impressed by his ball control and ability to get passed a player. Might have to watched this guy more closely.
