I’m in Berlin at the moment, last night I went into a pub with a Chelsea hoody on, Just standard plain hoody with Chelsea badge. Figured it’d be harmless.
A German bloke came to me, held the badge up (in a friendly way) and laughed, “You’re a brave man wearing this jumper”
I just laughed it off, but after that I’ve had 2 or 3 more Germans come to me and had a chuckle at our pathetic performance against City!
If the Germans know about the game then I dread to think what the rest of world think!
Conte out before he turns us into a laughing stock like Arsenal!

But so did Leicester, and they're goldfish. I don't think winning the Premier League in this current climate is enough to prevent rational worry following some of our worst performances in Chelsea history. Nowadays it's all too easy to go from top dog, to dog who never bites again. It only took a snap of the fingers to turn Liverpool into a joke - a snap to turn Arsenal into a joke - a snap to turn United into a joke, albeit just for a couple seasons - and if we're not careful, we're more likely to go down that Arsenal path than this blip of a path United have just been on.

Simeone would be the obvious choice. Very "similiar" style of play. Not afraid to put the youngsters in. Has worked on budget and player constraints.
Moreover, I dont think the problem is "defensive" football. We played "defensively" against barcelona and every fan to a man was lauding us that night. Problem is "negative" football. What happened at etihad was a shambles.
Watch ATM's games against barca. Its not just park the bus. They press, they try and go toe to toe. While ATM are well drilled/organized and pragmatic, they can also play some great football.
I would definitely want him here, but dont think it can/will happen.

It's a sad state of affairs when Mourinho can get the better out of an attacking player like Hazard than Conte can.
Hazard in 2014-2015 was his best season in a Chelsea shirt, at the moment we can't even get the ball to him. If he does put in a transfer request at the end of the season Conte & the board have to take a fair share of the blame.

I am sure Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Alonso, Emerson, Morata were all Conte signings. Drove out Diego Costa, bald loser.
Conte is just terrible in everything except moaning. Please f**k off back to Italy

I‘ve just joined but that doesn‘t imply that I am a new Chelsea fan. I have to take out my disappointment somewhere and therefore I joined.

I got the feeling Conte is provoking his sack abd the board doesn‘t want to do him this favour. If Conte had some backbone, he would walk away and neglect the severance package. What a hypocrite. His record is overrated anyway, his CL-record is simply sh*t. CONTE OUT!

I can‘t believe that the Italian match-fixer is still our manager.
After driving out our best striker, he doesn‘t care to play the replacements he got.
Furthermore, he is even pushing Hazard and Courtois out.
Can‘t wait to see the back of the fraud.
He used to moan at Juventus that his team isn‘t strong enough for the CL and got fked over in those matches. Then Allegri came and took this team two times to the CL final consecutively.

Get your facts straight little boy. Conte failed to report the match-fixing. Therefore what Mourinho said is essentially the same.

I've been littering around this forum now for a while. I haven't really felt the need to pop up with a post or create an account because my opinion has been mostly covered by other faces here.

I've supported this club since a wee boy, granted not as many years as some of the older heads here, but enough years to remember being sat at Stamford Bridge for a freezing midweek Champions League tie pre Abramovich.

Anyway to the point... Conte has to go. Today has made me genuinely contemplate my support for this club. For YEARS we have been a negative, boring, unexciting team riddled with wasted talent. Bar a spell under Ancelotti, not a single season has been played with an attacking, positive footballing mentality. It's shocking. This squad is worth in today's market probably half a billion, maybe more.
Last season was an anomaly. If it wasn't for Costa we would not have won the league. His input at absolute vital times was invaluable. Coupled with Hazard and Kante being formidable.
If I'm completely honest a change in formation after the Arsenal game did allow for a brief change in mentality but even then, some results we had were VERY fortunate. We got lucky. Winning games we did not deserve to. A reliance on counter attacking football. No real philosophy.

We have had an abundance of money to spend, which brings me on to a sort of sub point that has really been frustrating as of late... People upon here complaining that we don't have the monetary necessity to compete anymore. Uh, hello People, have you actually seen how much money we have spent over the past few seasons? We have spent a fortune and are no less an example of splashing cash than City. You can't use it as an excuse. It's idiocy even thinking otherwise. The problem lies with the attraction of the club, which ultimately lies with the philosophy of the manager and the manager himself. Conte does not have a good reputation amongst the talent pool we need to be fishing in. This ultimately boils down to the boring, defensive style of football he plays and the fact that he is an egoist of perpetual levels who has a reputation for causing issue in the dressing room and at club level.

We have to move on. We need an identity. We need to get with the times. We no longer have Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Cech... Football has changed. For the sake of our future generations of fans let's give them football to be proud of. Let's give faith to a manager that truly understands the quality that we have.

Through success we have earned the right to demand only the best from this club, and Conte isn't fit to lace it's boots.

Wake up Chelsea FC, it's time to move away from pragmatic managers and take a leap of faith. With the departure of Hazard and Courtois in the summer significant funds will be available for someone to truly build a fantastic team; but the manager is essential to it fulfilling it's potential. For this reason, we need to bring in an optimist who can make us fans start believing again.

There isn’t anything knee jerk about it. The mans lost the dressing room, he doesn’t look interested and if it carries on then we’re gonna be in danger of losing players like Hazard & Tibo. End of the day this is a culmination of the way he’s been acting, sh*t arse tactics and results.

Sad thing is it was inevitable as soon as I read his quotes from his pre-match presser. It was obvious our players would be unmotivated. I wonder if he's ever thought of trying to galvanise his squad instead of moaning like a bitch every time somebody puts a mike in front of him? Maybe that idea's a bit too radical.

I remember Ferguson in his last season at Utd, with a far inferior squad than that of some of his rivals, and a far smaller transfer budget. Won the league at a canter. Didn't moan once about the hand he'd been dealt. Saw it as a challenge.

Conte's got a different idea of management, and it's not my idea. I think he's spoilt and petulant. No sooner had he got kicked out of the Euros than he held a press conference slagging off the Italian Federation, and it was exactly the same story at Juve. He throws his toys out the pram when he doesn't get exactly what he wants and that's what he's done here.

I'm telling you right now folks, before our game against Barcelona, he'll be at it again, sapping all the spirit from our players before a ball's been kicked.

The definition of insanity? Trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Perhaps he doesn't want different results, perhaps he just wants to make his point, in case we hadn't heard it the previous thousand times.

He's conveyed such a negative message all season, he's made it so obvious he wants out, today we saw the culmination of that, a team literally going through the motions, a team as uninterested as their manager, a team as unfocused.

I apologised to Nibs earlier for calling this guy a c**t. I take that apology back. He's shat on his paymasters, he's shat on his players and he's shat on the fans. It's a miserable season from start to finish and it's all because he's had a face like a slapped arse.

Instead of moaning and moaning and moaning just quit. Sadly he hasn't got the integrity.
