The Shed End 2009/10 Fantasy Football League
Postponed games have ruined GW21 fo me. I wanted to do well in the Fantasy Cup, but looks like I'll be knocked out in this round. :)

Sturridge being groomed as the new Drogba
After watching the highlights, I must mention that he showed good composure for his second. The control and finish were very good. Hoping to see much more of him in the near future.

Dan Petrescu
My apologies for losing the link, but I read a while back on the internet that Dan left Unirea for some division 2 Russian club that goes by the name of Kuban?! Shocking development if true. Ok, wikipedia also confirms it. Is it really a step up for him?

Chelsea vs Fulham (Prem) 28/12/09 1500 KO
Two subs, two goals. Sounds very good but even Scolari managed it against Stoke FFS! I think we just got lucky today. But it was the kind of luck that can help our confidence. The tinkering needs to stop or be minimised at least! We need to decide on our best back four and stick to them for some stability in defence. Is it time to move on from the diamond formation when it's clearly not working? Though it might start looking good once Essien returns, we do need to have some alternatives at hand. The January fixture list is very kind on us, I hope we make good use of it.

Ivanovic to be offered a new deal
He's come a long way since that questionable performance against Man Utd in the Community Shield. And to be honest, we have never felt Bosingwa's absence due to his good form at right back. And that's not even his favoured position! Once Bosingwa comes back, he could well become the first choice partner of JT, and offer much more certainity when we defend through the centre. I'm all for him signing a new deal to shoo away Perez and his "Ooh-We-Can-Sign-Anyone" ego. But when will Joey renew his contract?! His contract expires much more sooner and we can't possibly release him on a free as his form can improve manifolds.

If I were Carlo, I'd rather use Borini as an "Oh-What-An-Impact!" sub.

Hi
Hello Mikel! Welcome to The Shed End! I know you have a great ability when it comes to sideways passing, but I have a question for you. Can you pass forward and backward as well? No offence intended.

Last Movie You Watched
I saw Avatar in 3D on friday night! It's a really well made movie and the special effects are extraordinary. They have created a whole new world and worked on every freaking detail. However, I must say that 3D effects were not that good and I could have done with watchign it in 2D itself. Or perhaps, it was becasue I didn't watch it at an IMAX. From what I saw, 3D meant the popping out of randomly chosen objects a few metres from the screen, and at times, a bit more than that. In all honesty, it was a popped out 2D movie. That said, every character has been worked on and there are some great performances. Worth watching with all it's hype though 3D or 2D wont make a difference unless it's an IMAX. *Enter the world*
