  1. A selection of images shortlisted for the 2009 Barclays Photographic Awards, a competition for the best pictures from the Premier League season. All the Sunderland and Tottenham players manage to miss the ball at a Tottenham corner kick. Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young celebrate at White Hart Lane after Young's goal gives Villa a 2-0 lead. Steven Gerrard floats a free kick towards the Stoke penalty area. Robinho celebrates in front of the Manchester City faithful after scoring the third goal in City's 6-0 thrashing of Portsmouth at The City of Manchester Stadium. Jonathan Woodgate consoles Heurelho Gomes, who is obviously in pain, after the Spurs keeper received a kick in the genitals. Manchester United's Patrice Evra goes over the top of Hull City's Daniel Cousin at Old Trafford. Despair runs through the Tottenham team after a Roman Pavlyuchenko miss. Carlos Tevez feels the cold. Steven Gerrard takes the full force of a Johan Djourou's challenge as Liverpool and Arsenal contest a tough 1-1 draw at the Emirates. Chelsea and Everton players contest a high ball. Cristiano Ronaldo hurdles a challenge during Manchester United's drubbing of West Brom at the Hawthorns. Despite a flying full-length dive, Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer can't prevent Jason Roberts scoring for Blackburn. Ronaldo beats Pepe Reina from the penalty spot to give United the lead but this spurred Liverpool on as they came back to win 4-1 and keep their slim title hopes alive. Arsenal's Mikael Silvestre jumps for the ball with Wigan's Paul Scharner of Wigan in the spring sunshine at the JJB. Joseph Yobo has a painful landing as Didier Drogba and Joleon Lescott fight for the ball. Steven Pienaar celebrates after scoring the first goal in Everton's 2-0 victory away at Sunderland. Wayne Rooney takes a tumble and Patrice Evra launches himself skywards as United players celebrate Michael Carrick's winning goal at Wigan. Ahead of Newcastle's relegation decider against Aston Villa, Alan Shearer faces the photographers. At the final whistle Newcastle are relegated but the fans show their support for the club as Alan Shearer looks on. Newcastle fans keep singing, despite their relegation.
  2. I think Infinity Ward have had the better critical response to their games, so they're probably the best.
  3. Plus you've got the whole thing with the development alternating between Infinity Ward and Treyarch.
  4. How good is he, has anybody seen him play? If someone puts a link to that site on here I make a point of no clicking on it regardless.
  5. With regards to our kit, I expect there was talk of it being the height of new kit technology and that it will increase the players performance by X%, that would have sold it to the club regardless of what it looked like. Also wasn't there a rule brought in that kits had to remain the same for two seasons, or does that only apply to national teams?
  6. Yep, I'll probably be buying it upon my return to England.
  7. I've only seen our new home one and I quite like it, I certainly prefer it to last seasons one.
  8. After looking and laughing at the new Newcastle kit, I decided to pay a visit to the Official Chelsea site, to see if there was any word on when our new away kits would be unveiled. I was greeted by this embarrassingly ghastly bit of design, it looks like it was done by some work experience kid using MS Paint!!
  9. Truly one of the worst kits I've ever seen.
  10. Phew what a relief, I really think we dodged a bullet on this one. For me, once you join Liverpool you're fair game, so I hope he gets the booing of his life when we play them.
  11. Caught By The Fuzz by Supergrass. Asking someone to marry you
  12. Robinson Crusoe!! Budum-tish.
  13. Michael Owen: The Athlete, The Ambassador, The Icon... The Tosser.
  14. "Brand Values - Clean & Fresh" At least we know he washes. The whole thing is tragic but still very funny, saying that I imagine quite a few pros have a similar brochure knocking about. Also notice no mention of his gambling habit.
  15. I need to pull my finger out and arrest my slide down the table, I'm plumping for A6. Fingers crossed.
  16. I wasn't aware Montserrat Caballé was that interested in football? :D
  17. Citeh set to bid £12m for Kolo Toure now that Arsenal have wrapped up the signing of Thomas Vermaelen for £10m. City set to bid £12m for Toure (Times Online)
  18. Looks like Liverpool have done what we did with Robinho last season. Liverpool start selling Johnson shirts
