As reported in the Daily Mail:

MICHAEL OWEN BROCHURE: The complete 32-page agents' dossier on the fallen Newcastle star and former England striker

Michael Owen, 'the athlete; the ambassador; the icon', is laid bare in all his former glory here in the 32-page brochure distributed to elite football clubs across Europe, touting the ex-England striker as a potential summer signing.

If you can stomach it, there are another 30 more pages worth of Brand Owen. Don't say I didn't warn you.

so so........so incredibly sad. England's phonem to this

he shouldve known this was a terrible idea and put the brakes on it. He needs to roll up his sleeves and play for an incentive contract at a team like Everton. Its not too late to jump-start his career. I always got the sense that playing for England was far more important for Owen than for his club

I wish I had someone to write my job applications, too! Reality and truth don't seem to matter: Fit and healthy? Good-looking?? ARTICULATE?? He's a Scouser FFS! And what is Global? That he has a passport?

I find this quite sad. At the same time, any of the current crop of "heros" with inflated egos (yes YOU Sw**kerG) should be thinking "This could be me in a few years time."

ops that's interesting - it blanked out the AN - I wonder what will happen if I write sw**ky?

I get the feeling that the only reason Owen doesnt call it quits on his career is he wants to get back in the England setup. If by some miracle he was to get back in Capello's squad and England win the WC in South Africa, I bet he would retire

well he's not the first player to do this... maybe the highest profile for a while though.

anyway I think he's not finished. hope he goes and finds some form and fitness somewhere. we could do with him on the plane to south africa in a years time. I rather him than some joker like defoe / bent etc.

I wonder what Newcastle would say to 'committed' and 'devoted'.

Since when have 'good looking', 'sincere' and 'clean fresh' been attributes to look for in a footballer?

He probably doesn't want to be mixed up with some grubby little player like that c*nt H*nt.
