  1. "Slightly annoying"? He looked like an arrogant c*cks*cker. If I'd been able to I'd have slapped him. haha indeed.
  2. Both good goals. I do find Eto'o's celebration or lack there of ever so slightly annoying though, much the same way I feel about the man.
  3. I know it doesn't look good, hopefully the Vidic injury will disrupt there defence. Fingers crossed. 4-1 now, my old man said that Blackburn rolled over for them in the second half. Typical.
  4. sh*t. sh*t. sh*t. I really fancied Blackburn to do us a favour today.
  5. 1-1. That b*stard Scholes has scored.
  6. If it were me in charge a fully fit Beckham would walk into that England team no problem at all. Based on the form shown to date since McLaren took over and dropped Beckham there is not a single midfielder in that squad who Beckham would not have done more than. Sad but true.
  7. Well ladies and gentlemen 3-0 against a team of part-timers. Doesn't it make you feel proud. Martin Tyler: "Steven Gerrard MBE. Mighty Big Effort." Pass me the bucket...
  8. Just come up with a new chant to the melody of War by Edwin Starr: Har-greaves-huh. What is he good for? Absolutely nothing. He'll probably score now. I hope not. Gerrard seems to have found his level. One notch above part-timers.
  9. Oh dear what can you say about that first half other than it being laughably inept. The players seem more concerned with moaning at the ref than playing football. Shut up and get on with it.
  10. I feel the same. I'll be watching tonight but only through a matter of course and the vain hope that it's actually an entertaining game.
  11. Further information on Lamps, apparently it was Rooney that injured him. What a c*nt.
  12. Yeah that's my worst fear.
  13. It now looks like he won't be playing tonight after all. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hli ... or+England Part of me hopes England play sh*t tonight (still winning the game of course) as it will prove to all the naysayers that England's form isn't down to Lamps.
  14. I saw 300 last night, it was spectacular both visually and sonically, the dialogue wan't too hot but I wasn't expecting it to be, being as it comes from a graphic novel. It's well worth checking out at the cinema in order to fully appreciate it and the chances are you will leave with the feeling that you can take on the world. I also left with tthe feeling that I should get down the gym more often. Waffle rating: 8/10
  15. What a dire display, the most entertaining thing was the 15 minutes I got to see of Toy Story 2 on the BBC during half time. England were toothless. Some people on this forum may already be aware my feelings of distain about Mr Mediocre Owen Hargreaves but tonight he was worse than ever. There was no need for him to be on the pitch, he offered nothing going forward and as England's supposed version of Maka he seldom wins the ball or offers an outlet to the defence. I ask you, what is the point in him. For me Steve McLaren made a huge tactical error when he took of Lennon for Downing, the best thing he could have done then was take off Hargreaves for Downing, move Stevie Me into the middle alongside Lamps and told Lennon to go wide right. We would have stretched Isreal and been able to get in behind them, but no Hargreaves had to stay on and continue to do f*ck all. Oh yeah and on the club vs country question, club get's my vote.
  16. The first pair of boots I can remember were a pair of Lottos, they were alright although I remember they had elastic inside them which used to give my feet cramp if I wore them for an extended period of time, like 4 hours on a summer afternoon kick about. My best pair of boots were a pair of Reebok Integrity Pros, I brought them off my mate (who'd just signed for Notts County as an apprentice) for ?20 I think the RRP was around ?80, he'd only worn them once but didn't get on with them, I thought they were amazing and a bargain to boot!! (sorry for the pun)
  17. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Sto ... 37,00.html And you just know that Spurs will make that request... the spiteful b*stards!!!
  18. Wenger gets my vote. I'd like to have Ferguson stand behind him so that when I hit Wenger his head would go back and crack Fergie right across his nose. Then I'd ask them both if they saw it.
  19. Talk about being punished for being successful. This fixture build up malarky could destroy our season. True but it could also destroy United as well. Good point.

  21. Cole was alright and that clearance was first class, but I found it increasingly annoying how many times in the first half he attempted and failed to deliver his diagonal left to right pass, for me he should have tried something different occasionally to keep Spurs guessing like play it inside and dip down the line.
  22. I've just listened to the podcast of 606 and I must say that Alan Green is a f*cking cretin and the Spurts fans that rang in have got the biggest case of sour grapes going just making up bullsh*t in order to deflect away the fact that they lost.
