  1. hook line and sinker. Nice one Jose. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/ ... 41,00.html
  2. I'm glad they didn't get a points deduction as they would have been down and out of the league and I want them fighting for there premiership lives on the last day of the season when the play Manure.
  3. Maybe we should help them out by taking Tevez of their hands.
  4. Very nice I'm sure you'll agree. Cost is ?600million the capacity is going to be 36,000 and it should be completed by 2011. If we ever move to a new stadium I hope it's as good a design as this.
  5. Fantastic result, great that we didn't concede, no bookings tonight and players to come back on for Tuesday, can't pick a Man of the Match but I must say it's good to have Joey back. If we score one at their place they'll need to score three.
  6. I to can't stand Clive Tyldesley, he was one of the reasons I didn't watch the game last night. The thing is he'll no doubt be commentating on our 2nd leg at Anfield next week which will make that game extra unbearable, unless we're hammering them of course.
  7. Here are the teams of the year from the previous two years. Team of the Year 2005 Petr Cech (Chelsea) Gary Neville (Man Utd) John Terry (Chelsea) Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd) Ashley Cole (Arsenal) Frank Lampard (Chelsea) Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) Arjen Robben (Chelsea) Shaun Wright-Phillips (Man C) Thierry Henry (Arsenal) Andrew Johnson (C Palace) Team of the Year 2006 Shay Given (Newcastle) Pascal Chimbonda (Wigan) John Terry (Chelsea) Jamie Carragher (Liverpool) William Gallas (Chelsea) Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) Frank Lampard (Chelsea) Joe Cole (Chelsea) Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) Thierry Henry (Arsenal) Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)
  8. Yeah, when Manure lost to the Arse we promptly lost to Liverfool. I think a few of the players were thinking it was going to be easy street today and consequently had one eye on Wednesday. What ever happened to playing by that old adage of "one game at a time". One things for sure if we play like we did today on Wednesday it's not going to be a pleasant evening. No siree bob.
  9. Truly a sh*t result, we've let Manure off the hook big time. Some of the players were not at the races today, stand up Lamps, Paulo and Drogba who was bullied out of the game by Taylor and Bramble!! Fingers crossed Manure slip up again in the near future, a nice loss against Milan might do some damage to their confidence but I won't be holding my breath.
  10. you're only selfish if you don't score. This is shellfish...
  11. Winning 2-0 last time I looked. Sheff Utd's striker Shelton looked a bit of a handful but I think he's operating upfront on his own. I begrudgingly admit that both Manure's goals were good goals in there simplicity, although I think Kenny could have done better on both of them. What annoys me and it's annoyed me all season is the fact that Manure can score these goals that look so effortless and we can't, is it that there just that good? I don't think it is. I think it's down to the fact that teams/defenders will break their necks to try and stop us scoring but against Manure they seem to switch off, why I don't know. Pompey are the recent exception to the rule as were Roma in the first leg, who gave it everything they had and consequently got a positive result. One more thing, it appears that Paul Scholes needs to almost break someones leg before he gets a yellow let alone a red card.
  12. what a complete and utter tw*t.

Cool thread, allow me to suggest this classic:
  14. As long as he never ends up at the Bridge I don't care what the clown does.
  15. Which is more than can be said of the Roma players who politely rolled over and got their tummies tickled by Manure. 7-1 is a f*cking joke of a score at the quarter final stage of the Champions League.
  16. hahahahahahahahahaha. good work fella. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs0sXD0RGpI
  17. Clearly he scuffed it and it was meant as a cross.
  18. He's very classy looks and extremely comfortable on the ball, I wonder if he can take corners?
  19. I popped in early doors but nobody was in there.
  20. Finally it worked but I missed the first 15 minutes. Bridge is having a very good game, look and learn Ashley. Lamps delivery is consistant in its inconsistancy.
  21. I can't even get a picture thanks to NTL/Virgin Media messing up the Pay Per View, I'm having to listen to f*cking 5Live!!
  22. The thing with Sir Red Nose's "mind games" is I now find them quite laughable as he just comes across as a miserable old git.
  23. Penalty or freekick he still should have been sent off. I agree with you about the holding that we're a bad at it but it was crazy how many times they held JT down the ref must have surely seen it. It would have been sod's law that had we scored off a corner the ref would have promptly disallow it for holding. You know how it works.
  24. That was a blatent foul of that I am sure. And what about all the holding that went on when we had a set piece. I'm sure they'll be a lot more diving/cheating on their part when we play in their yard as well.
