The kick off is just hours away...well ok, it's seven hours, but anyway...thought I'd create a thread for the game.

Here are the squads from the BBC website:

Chelsea (from): Cech, Cudicini, Hilario, Ferreira, Geremi, Diarra, Terry, Boulahrouz, A Cole, Bridge, Makelele, Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Drogba, Shevchenko, Kalou, Wright-Phillips, J Cole.

Liverpool (from): Reina, Finnan, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Riise, Pennant, Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Mascherano, Fowler, Kuyt, Bellamy, Crouch, Dudek, Zenden.

Click here for the Sky Sports preview.

I won't make any predictions for tonight's match...all I will say now is...

The BBC site don't know anything about the squad, so I don't really know why they bother.

They do not know if Carvalho will be in the squad, and they haven't reaslised that Essien is suspended.

I went for that team in the BPL with the exception that I went with Paulo at right back ahead of Diarra. I expect Liverpool to play the 4-5-1 and hence the main threat is going to be from the flanks and in particular Risse and Gerrard (Alonso, Sissoko and Mascherano in the centre).

Given that I would prefer to see a more defensive full back in Paulo than one like Diarra who is more inclined to get forward.

So far, the club have only issued a provisional squad for tonight's game. But obviously that didn't include Essien. No fresh news on Carvalho yet either.

I went for Elliot's team in BPL, except I have Ashley Cole instead of Bridge.

oh yes so do I - didn't notice he had Bridge. I would prefer it to be bridge but I think it will be Cole

Carv doing a late fitness test last i heard , fingers crossed but theres no point in playing him if he's not 100%.

Sorry to say, but I would prefer a 90% Carvalho ahead of a 100% Boulahrouz.

The problem there is that if he's not fully fit and he plays all or most of tonight's game, the chances are he'll be f*cked for Saturday.

Oh God I'm nervous. I couldn't almost sleep last night. Don't know how many hours I lay awake in my bed.

When I started to drift off a mosquito (or whatever they are called) buzzed around my head so I was wide awake again (probably a scouser mosquito). After about 1? hour of chasing that little ba*tard I finally killed him.

I went back to bed and tried to go to sleep once more. After a long time I finally made it and I awoke just a couple of hours later because I've had a bad dream.

Chelsea were playing and the ref was against us all the time. Drogba passed the ball on one side of the defender and ran on the other side of him and collect the ball again and scored a goal but the linesmen had said it was offside because Drogs got the ball on the wrong side of the defender. Things like that kept happening all the time. Can't remember who we played against or if we lost. But it made me wake up with one thought in my mind "Oh, f*ck it! We're going to lose tonight". The wierd thing is that I actually thought that in english and not in swedish which is a bit wierd. Anyway. I fell asleep again after that and had some more bad dreams, though not about Chelsea (Thank God for that).

Not long after that I woke up yet again because a frigging mosquito was in my ear (yes, IN my ear). I nearly wet myself. It scared the sh*t out of me. And after that I couldn't hardly sleep.

So now I'm still tired and more nervous than ever before about the game tonight. It's a beautiful weather outside and it's really warm but not even that cheers me up.

I'm not a religious man. But I think I might as well do some praying tonight. It can't hurt can it? 128.gif

2-2 tonight, 3-1 to us at Anfield.

Do you really think there will be so many goals?

Bloody nervous I tell you. We have GOT to STOP them getting an early goal.

Stopping them getting a late goal or one either side of half-time would be pretty good, too.

I'm bloody nervous, too. I've got less confidence about this than for a long time, and not just because of our unavailable players. I'm worried about the things Jose went on about - the fact L'pool have been able to focus totally on this game for weeks - the fact that we were poor on Sunday, the fact we've not scored against them in 4 CL games, the fact that they beat us in the FAC SF and Community Sheld... I'm not bothered about the 2-0 as we weren't at the races that day (even though that could cost us the league).

Sick with nerves, honestly don't know what to do.

Spot on Gem re the early goal, if we start badly and concede, like we have done SO many times recently, then the omens are very bad.

Put even more simply, we HAVE to stop them scoring. As impressive as Manure's comeback was last night, Milan will be very happy with two away goals, and similarly I think L*verpool will fancy it if they get any number on the score sheet tonight.

Hope the bridge is pounding with noise well before K.O.
