The Simpsons Movie
My theory of why the later seasons of The Simpsons haven't been as consistently good is because they've been concentrating on the movie, which I think is going to be awesome.

Henry to Barcelona. Or not.
My tip for who they replace Henry with is Ryan Babel. You've heard it here first!!!

Top 50 Footballers: The Times
Interesting list, nice to see Essien so high up. Is Buffon that much better than Cech though? I've not seen enough of Buffon to really know, all I know is that Cech is awesome.

Muse @ Wembley Stadium, 16 June 2007. I was there!
And it was awesome. Here are some movie clips and pictures from the best concert I've ever been to. I apologise for the dodgy sound and picture quality, I must get a new camera. Mobile phone lights during the performance of Soldier's Poem, the video doesn't do it justice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIgMOF8_eFM The acrobats suspended from balloons during the performance of Blackout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iEg-V0qV1Y Plug in Baby rocked... hard! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1qtrbcO1z0 Wembley Way was a nightmare, 90,000 people all going in the same direction, what fool thought that would work?

Chelsea named in 'bung' inquiry
They probably are but are immune on the grounds of "history". Does anyone know what the likely punishment will be if any?

Liverfool show their intent for next season...
I actually agree that he is a pretty good player but he's hardly going to set the world alight is he. Which is a good thing of course.

Madrid in talks to sign Robben
Of course your right but only we get punished for such offences. I'm mean look at Malouda and Liverpool "There has been contact with Liverpool, although I don't know as yet if they have shown their interest directly to Lyon," I know it's from The Sun but still.

Madrid in talks to sign Robben
If he goes, who should we get as his replacement. Sound of a can of worms opening!

poll is a f**king arseho*e
Has Poll ever given the reason why he sent off JT against Spurs? I can't remember.

England vs Estonia
Of course.

Defender of the year
Done. I found this bit in the Vidic write-up most amusing: "Brave, rugged, willing to put his head in front of a train if it means clearing the ball and with a scary look of Ivan Drago about him - Nemanja Vidic is everything you want from your centre back and more." as it made me think of his pansy like reaction when Ballack bounced into him at Old Trafford.

England vs Estonia
By the looks of it Alan Smith will be starting again!! Did McClaren see something on Friday that the rest of us missed? Alan Smith was rubbish. I predict a draw and a sh*tty game. [web]http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2095446,00.html[/web]

poll is a f**king arseho*e
The w*nker sticks the knife in again. He's got serious issues with Jose hasn't he? I'm a little worried his comments may influence other refs in future games. [web]http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6717887.stm[/web]

lamps booed by england fans
My old man bought The People newspaper today for some reason, something to do with the other papers having too much wriiten about Big Brother, anyway I was suprised to read this nicely balanced article, if only more journos wrote or spoke like this, Lamps wouldn't be suffering the unwarrented boos: [web]http://www.people.co.uk/sport/macca/[/web]

England vs Brazil
I think one of the problems for Lamps last night apart from lack of space, was that when he looked up he had very little choice in who to pass to upfront, Alan "why am I in the team?" Smith or Michael "Where's my pace gone?" Owen and so a lot of his passes went sideways or backwards, but at least most of his passes found there target unlike a certain St. Stevie G.

BBC goal of the season - no chelsea players
Out of those I'd go for Rooney's chip against Pompey.

England vs Brazil
Usual England non-performance, Beckham (aka the Silver Fox!!) was his usual self, a few good passes and a well taken free kick, nothing more nothing less but he'll grab the headlines. Joey looked up for it in the first half but faded in the second, Lamps wasn't at the races again. Solid performance and a great header by JT, I had a feeling he might bag one tonight, shame I didn't put any money on him I went with Lamps as first goalscorer instead. I can't pick a man of the match as nobody really stood out. Oh yeah and is just my television but whenever Gerrard makes a mistake, be it a miss placed pass or a foul or getting done up like a kipper by Kaka the sound seems to drop out as I never here any criticism from the commentators. My prediction for the Estonia game is 1-1 and another lacklustre performance.

Scariest Film Scenes
I saw it some time ago and it's a kinda good movie. And it's "based on true events" I saw it last year, while it is graphic it's not really scary but it was an enjoyable film non the less. I'm hoping to go to the meteor site when I go to Oz at the end of the month, hopefully I won't befall the same fate as the characters.
