I don't get scared by films, but I thought the very last scene in the Blair Witch Project (the guy facing the wall and the camera hitting the ground) was pretty good and some scenes out of Halloween were quite haunting although I've not seen that film since I was a kid so I doubt they have the impact now.
  2. All Hail Claudio. I wonder if his English has improved?!?
  3. My sentiments exactly. According to Wikipedia he retired after the 2002 World Cup but has played for the national team since most recently in 2005.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benni_McCa ... ional_team If he has definitely retired from international, I wouldn't mind him coming to The Bridge so long as we don't pay over the odds, but it sounds to me like a last resort signing what with Roman tightening the purse strings (the tight b*stard) and I'd prefer us to sign Tevez or Villa.
  4. In no particular order. 1. Ruud 2. Vialli 3. Zola 4. Joey Cole 5. Sheva
  5. ?? Sorry that's if he get's picked.
  6. My theory is that he's been picked in order to help ticket sales.
  7. Somehow I think we'll end up spending the most money (people like fleecing us) and it will probably be on the striker we're going to buy, Liverpool will sign the most players though.
  8. Yeah I quite like the look of it, it's got that old school charm.
  9. How sweet it is to see the Scousers lose. What makes it sweeter is that I had a bet on Inzaghi as first goalscorer and Milan to win 2-1 and have won myself the princely sum of ?50. Get in. Forza Milan!!!
  10. Personally I don't mind this signing, as Sidwell must be fully aaware of the competition for places in our already over stocked midfield (so he can't really moan about not getting a game) and therefore it's down to him to prove that he has what it takes to get in there. I think he'll raise his game and take a few of us by suprise, also remember he'll be learning off some of the best players in the world. Plus this strikes me very much as a Jose signing, not a Roman/Kenyon one as Sidwell is hardly a "brand" builder. Let's get behind the lad and think positive.
  11. Rambo's back and he's kicking ass!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Rx6i090FGzQ
  12. Just got home after celebrating the victory over the Manc Scum, I am quite drunk and tired but oh so happy, I never doubted that we would win. Championa, championa, oh lay oh lay oh lay!! Come on you blues.
  13. Our old friend The Sh*te has got the information. Winding up Chelsea... they love it!! [web]http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2007220443,00.html[/web]
  14. Jose may play Hilario as an emergency striker: "If Ashley is ready we have 15 players for the final," Mourinho said. "I will have to choose between Hilario because he is not bad playing forward, or I'll bring one of the kids to make 16." http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Sto ... 15,00.html Surely he's taking the p*ss.
  15. I wouldn't worry about it, he probably thought that seeing as it was a "meaningless game" he could try a few tricks and get away with it.
  16. Carragher been getting rave reviews recently. In all honesty who are the best centre backs around at the moment that you would be happy to see play at the Bridge?
  17. Messi at the Bridge would indeed be quality.
  18. It's Kaka for me. Quite simply he is class personified.
  19. The Guardian have done a piece on the 10 top strikers on sale this summer: http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/ ... _sale.html
  20. He got away with it because he plays for Man Utd and as their fans sang "that's why we're champions". They've been getting favourable decisions all season and Poll wasn't about to buck the trend.
  21. Plus the other bad tackle that Smith inflicted on him prior as well!! Smith always looks ready to dive in 2 footed, he must have been given lessons in tackling from Scholes. My worst fear other than losing, is that Graham "3 yellows" Poll knows that this game is more or less meaningless and may well take it upon himself to grab the headlines by sending off one of our boys. To think if things had turned out differently he could've been in charge of one of the most important games of our season, not a pleasant thought.
  22. you wouldn't get anyone in that list for 9 million though. I know, my point was if we could sign any of the others for however much they cost.
  23. Enjoy: http://www.onemorelevel.com/games.php?game=489
