Everton v liverpoo
I watched it, although I wish I hadn't. Everton were 1-0 up and looking good on it, making chances and Liverpool were on the back foot, then guess who pops up, St. Stevie Gerrard, who got into a one on one situation with Hibbert, they came together outside the penalty box, both pulling on each others shirts ("6 to one, half a dozen to the other" I cried) as Gerrard managed to get into the penalty area, you knew there was going to be only one outcome, and sure enough Gerrard's legs went from under him, penalty given. Mr Twattenburg then reached into his side pocket and produced a yellow card ready to show Hibbert, "somethings wrong here" thinks Gerrard, "I'll have a word with my friend Mark and see if he'll change his mind, after all I call the shots on these kind of decisions." Sure enough the yellow card is put away and out comes the red. Unbelievable!! Gerrard later got subbed much to his own dismay but made a point of going over to his stooge Mr Twattenburg and shook his hand in a job well done. Liverpool then go on to win a match they deserved very little if anything from. Liverpool, what a bunch of cheating scouse b*stards.

England vs Russia
Pretty accurate ratings in The Sun but yet again it wasn't Gerrard's fault for his poor performance!!

England vs Russia
I seriously think that if we do qualify , we should still sack him as I think it's highly unlikely that we would win the championship under his guidance.

England vs Russia
I knew we'd f*ck it up (I put a couple of quid on 2-1 to Russia @ 10/1, unpatriotic I know, sorry). Nice to see St Stevie G missing a sitter. Robinson needs to go back to goalkeeping school and brush up on pushing the ball away to the side, not into the middle of the mixer like he likes to keep doing and those subs were a little bit clueless me thinks.

England vs Russia
I understand that and love him for it, but I do think he needs to have a serious rest soon and recover properly from all his knocks or else his career could well be over before he gets to 30!! Although saying that I could be completely wrong and he could be some kind of genetic freak like Wolverine out of the X-Men or Claire Bennet in Heroes and he has superhuman healing properties. Here's hoping.

England vs Russia
Hardly surprising. I'm p*ssed off as I'd rather him have come home and rested up ready for the weekend instead of traveling to Moscow.

Gerrard's MOM winning performance against Estonia
What annoys me about Gerrard's "performances" for England is the way that the commentators just tail of their sentences when he makes a mistake and just ignore it or try and blame someone else for it, whereas anyone else makes a mistake they highlight it, the worst offender is Stevie G's number one fan Mark "the c*nt" Lawrenson.

England vs Estonia
Ashley Cole has gone off with what looks like a serious ankle injury. The game has gone completely flat now. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

MOTM vs Valencia
Close call between Riccy, Joey and Drogba but I've gone with Drogba, he worked his socks off and scored the winner and showed how important he is to us. When he's on it, there aren't many better. I thought the whole team played well tonight in a difficult game (one many expected us to lose), let's hope we do kick on from here like Joey said and show our true class. Keep the faith and lets get behind the new manager.

Is this Correct?
That is pitiful, surely his friends/team mates should have a word with him, it's beyond embarrassing. I thought it was bad enough for us tonight the way Valencia players kept on holding their faces everytime an arm went anyway near them, but that is beyond a joke. It's about time FIFA/UEFA told footballers to stop acting up and to show a some metal for f*cks sake. I know our players aren't beyond it, I'm looking at Mr Drogba here but enough is enough it has got to stop, it winds me up so much.

Valencia Away - Match Preview
To quote Han Solo "I have a bad feeling about this"... game. I'll be very happy with a draw plus no injuries or cards.

Carling Cup 3rd Round: Hull away
1st half has been poor and at times embarrassing. Somebody needs to tell the players to try and keep the ball on the ground and to bloody well shoot when they get the chance, we're a far superior team than Hull but there's only been slight glimpses of the the gulf in class. I must add that I think Kalou is playing like a pup, some of his pass selection is beyond rubbish. Nice goal by Sinclair by the way. Highlight of the match so far.

MOTM vs Utd
Cech for me but a special mention to Joey for doing a number on Ronaldo's ankle, just a shame he didn't injure him.

ManU vs Chelsea
Because Fergie hadn't told him to!! That red card was so utterly ludicrous, I thought at worst it was worthy of a yellow. We'd been playing well up to that point apart from the final pass selection which has been woeful. I don't know what's up with Essien he's been all over the shop. Let's see if Avram can do the business at half time. Also Cole's tackle on Evra was a penalty I'm afraid to say. If it had been the other way round we'd all be demanding one.

Well its Grant
This ones not really his fault though is it Fair point, but as I've said in another post, what would happen if a Jewish event fell on an actual match day?
-
Yom Kippur !
Well I'm inclined to believe it is true, which just compounds the issue of Grant being in charge, what happens if another Jewish things come along on a match day?!?
-
Yom Kippur !
I wrote about it here. It's ludicrous if you ask me. http://www.chelseafcforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=4969&start=15

Well its Grant
Grant won't be seeing/talking to the players from Sundown tonight till Sunday morning due to it being Yom Kippur!! Great, it's not like we've got an important game!! [web]http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007430952,00.html[/web]

Could Jose's departure signal an exodus?
The thing about a supposed exodus, is that a lot of the key players, Lamps, JT, Drogs, Essien etc are all on pretty enormous wages, it would need Jose to go to a club willing to pay such wages along with pretty big transfer fees to get these players, so I'll wait and see if Jose goes to one of the big clubs before I worry about an exodus. I will say though that personally the players likely to follow Jose (probably at the end of the season) are Riccy, Lamps and Drogba (all 29 years old by the way), now don't get me wrong they are quality players and would be missed but they are not irreplaceable and I'd imagine quality players would be brought in their stead. The players I'd hate to see go by the way would be Cech, JT, Essien, Mikel and Joey. Oh yeah for what it's worth I believe Hiddink will be the man to come in, Grant is just keeping his seat warm. Keep the faith and come on the blues.

Chelsea v Rosenborg
Sheva got us out of jail tonight, when the game shouldn't have even got to court.
