Big Pete becomes a Daddy
Congratulations to him, but I have got a theory that once a player has a baby their form tends to dip, look at Lamps for example, he hasn't been the same since. Please note that one of my other theories is that left footers miss more penalties than right footers (this is especially true in shoot-outs).

Frank injured again?
All I've heard is that his recovery is taking longer than expected and that there is still a small tear in the muscle.

BARCELONA BID IN !!!!
How exciting, I hope it's Dos Santos or Iniesta, although I wouldn't mind seeing Guddy back at the bridge. Just wondering, would people be that p*ssed if we did sign Ronnie for say £10million? You never know he could rediscover the form that made him TWICE World Player of the Year. I know we've had our fingers burnt with Sheva and we don't want to be labelled as Galacticos etc but he could be worth the risk.

Rafa row yout boat ashore
I saw all the first half, Liverpool were sh*te, struggling against a team with a crocked goalie and a defense with no recognised centre backs. Watched the second half after Gerrard had scored his third, he and Torres were then subbed and Liverpool were sh*te again, Kuyt was laughably awful.

Micah Richards?
We should definitely try and get him. Great prospect and still only 19.

Iniesta...
My old man has just told me that it's been on Setanta News channel that we're preparing a bid in for him, no more details than that. Just seen this on Wikipedia:

Man Utd v Newcastle on MotD
Usual brown nosing bullsh*t, completely ignored Ronaldo cheating for the freekick that gave them the first, Jonathan Pearce even had the audacity to say Smith fouled him when he clearly didn't touch him. Yes Manure looked good attacking but Newcastle were piss poor. I really don't know why I watch it.

To think the unthinkable think
JT straight back in no question despite Alex having done well. It is going to be interesting when Lamps comes back in, I imagine during the ACN that the midfield for the majority of the games will be: ----------Maka Lamps-------------Ballack and then when the ACN is over and Essien and Mikel return, Avram is going to have to do some serious jiggery-pokery as nobody is going to be happy sat on the bench for any length of time.

Jeff Stelling
Stelling is indeed class and Kamara is "unbelievable!!" Some of the pundits on there can be highly annoying, especially old big nose Phil Thompson, he/like many others just can't stand to see us winning, his face was a picture when Berbatov hit a promising freekick over.

Big Sam departs Newcastle
Newcastle's next game is away to Manure. Fingers crossed they pull something out of the hat and get a result.

Everton MOTM in Cup Semi 1st leg
That's a bit rash. Yes he's been sent off 4 times for us, but two of those times (tonight and against Man Utd) he should have only got a yellow card tops. He's managed to get a reputation for himself which will take some time to shake off. He's a class player and will learn. He's no worse a tackler than Paul Scholes and he's been getting away with it for years.

Everton MOTM in Cup Semi 1st leg
Yep same here, Ballack was class tonight, some of his passing in the first half was sublime. I think he benefits from being the focal point in the midfield, something that will need to be looked at when Lamps returns. We played some really nice football tonight up until Mikel's dismissal (which was harsh but the way it's going at the moment the ref was always going to be reaching for red) and the lads showed great character in never giving up. Can I add that Sidwell looks so out of place its untrue. I know it hard picking up the pace of a game when you come on as sub but he makes the simple things look difficult.

Carling Cup Everton at Home Thread
I'd like to see Sinclair start upfront alongside Pizarro, so I'm going for this formation. Chances of it happening? Slim. ---------------Hilario (Cech if fully fit) Beletti------Riccy------Alex------Bridge SWP-------Mikel------Ballack------Joey ---------Sinclair------Pizarro
