ethicalstrategy Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 It is nice though to see it happening at another club rather than about our own. The fact it is liverpool just makes it all the more fun
Maksimov Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 This is bad news...they want Rafa out. I want him to stay at Liverpool...
Tim Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Much as I am enjoying this, there is a tiny percentage of me that worries that we will see Jose there next season. Hicks and Co would be mad not to approach him if he is still a free man when (not if) Fat Rafa goes, and I do worry he just might say yes, especially if a top Italian job isn't available. Or am I just being really paranoid?
Barn Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 IF you're being paranoid Tim that makes two of us. I'm dreading the news that he's going to take over there.
loz Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 Lawrenson (who still has a lot of inside contacts at Liverpool) was saying just yesterday that he has a feeling that Hicks and co are very close to turning their back on the club and selling up.
BLUENUT Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 IF you're being paranoid Tim that makes two of us. I'm dreading the news that he's going to take over there. Make that 3 - hopefully Rafa 'll be there for a while, but I can't see it. Just hope Jose doesn't fancy living in the European city of Vulture
Backbiter Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Offering the job to Klinsmann - that was one tabloid story Kenyon never got around to denying.
Gem Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 They'll never win the title with Tubby there, so the longer he stays the better.
abramovich Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Couldn't have happened to a nicer club. Look at this http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/ind ... msg3742461 "Wheres that lad that burned the gerrard shirt when he was supposed to be going to chelsea, would quite happily buy him a shirt (not a liverpool one, maybe the USA national shirt but that would make us all seem like scum and would be in every paper everywhere so that's not a good idea) with their names on and torch it"
The Moos Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I don't think I've ever seen the F-word used so often. Does the scouser-scums who run that site allow all cursing?
Scott Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I don't think I've ever seen the F-word used so often. Does the scouser-scums who run that site allow all cursing? If you took that word away from them, they would not be able to communicate at all. .....inbred two bob c*nts
Maksimov Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I have faith is Rafa to bring the title at some stage. I rate Europe over the league anyway.
TheWestwayWonder Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Ahh, RAWK. I first came across it innocently enough, but needless to say the manic profanity and panic-button-pushing over at that place has made many scouser failings that much more hilarious in the past My favorite reflection was "Cant believe they betrayed Rafa. Not the Liverpool way." Seems to me they understood the Liverpool way pretty well: -Dole out money -Be a constant source of underachievement and disappointment -
loz Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 BBC Text commentary on Liverpool Luton replau 2026: Liverpool dominating but Luton fans thinking "you're getting sacked in the morning".
Maksimov Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 "you're getting sacked in the morning" Ryan Babel just prevented that. Wait a minute, I want Rafa to stay at Liverpool.
JT26CFC Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 and Gerrard hat trick not gonna hear the end of this game!! Wait a minute, I want Rafa to stay at Liverpool.
sweet waffle Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 and Gerrard hat trick not gonna hear the end of this game!!Wait a minute, I want Rafa to stay at Liverpool. I saw all the first half, Liverpool were sh*te, struggling against a team with a crocked goalie and a defense with no recognised centre backs. Watched the second half after Gerrard had scored his third, he and Torres were then subbed and Liverpool were sh*te again, Kuyt was laughably awful.
Tim Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Anyone else find it kinda funny that the L*verpool fans seem to be going mental about a home win with a full strength team against a lowe league team made up of randoms and journeymen, in an FA cup game that should never have needed a replay in the first place? It was and should have been routine, simple as that. Get over yourselves. 'Stevie G' scored a hattrick against a 36 yr old Don Hutchinson, big f*cking deal!
Enrico Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Good to see the Liverpool owners have as much bottle as Carragher has - talk about trying to push your manager out rather than having the strength to just sack them! I heard he's got a clause in his contract that says he gets a payoff of 6 million pounds if he is sacked. If he leaves of his own accord he gets nothing.
mad_mac Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Much as I am enjoying this, there is a tiny percentage of me that worries that we will see Jose there next season. Hicks and Co would be mad not to approach him if he is still a free man when (not if) Fat Rafa goes, and I do worry he just might say yes, especially if a top Italian job isn't available.Or am I just being really paranoid? Tim, I thought about this, as there is nothing I would HATE in football than to see "our Jose" managing Liverpool. However, Hick or Gillette actually has a bit of a thing about Klinsman, so it doesn't suprise me that he is being touted. however, they (Gillette and Hicks) are seemingly wanting to try and turn a quick profit by selling Liverpool off to a Dubai consortium. You have to laugh really, so much for the Scoucers never selling out, or selling their history, they have been totally used by these two....infact, I would like to see the reaction they get should they (gillette and hicks) try and come back to Anfield; I think it will make the Glazier's reception pale in comparison. Anyway, what does all this have to do with Jose? I hear you ask. Quite simply, in my mind, there is too much turmoil surrounding Liverpool as a club for Jose to consider going there. I think we will see him at Milan at the start of next season Scott
undertow Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 if i remember correctly jose said that he wants to go to a big club. that rules liverpool out anyway.

Lofty Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 One thing that genuinely puzzles me is that reverence shown by Scousers to the fat Spanish gay icon with the dodgy beard. Last time I looked at RedRob scumbags abode, there was, and I swear this is true, an actual thread entitled "I Love you Rafa Benitez". Words like "dignity" and humility" abound. Oh I forgot. According to that lot, Carjacker is the epitome of dignity.
TheWestwayWonder Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 if i remember correctly jose said that he wants to go to a big club. that rules liverpool out anyway. Jose's PR man came out the other day and totally squashed that rumor before it got any legs. I knew he wasnt going there, but it was good to see the journo's pet story of the month die a premature death. Plus, that kind of loyalty is hard to come by these days Jose is a blue alright, but Rafa will be a merengue/eating meringues soon enough
