Thing is despite it being an obvious mistake, I wouldn't be surprised if the red isn't rescinded just because of the balls up the FA made with the Aliadiere sending off. The FA will want to look like they're not favoring the big clubs especially after what Gibson said in the week. Also, if we do appeal and lose and they stick an extra game ban on for a "frivolous appeal" Lamps would miss the game against the Arse! As it stands with the 3 game ban he'll only miss Barnsley (away), Derby (home) and Sunderland (away), I'm pretty sure we'd be able to cope without him for those 3 and then he'll be nice and fresh (fingers crossed) for the big one against the Arse.
