  2. I'm pretty sure I heard that Milan are covering his wages.
  3. He said post match that with some physio he'd be fit for next Sunday.
  4. Fair point but to not have one of them on the bench and have four defenders instead seemed questionable, imagine if the game had gone in a different direction and we were hammering them, it would have been nice to have given one of them a chance.
  5. Spot on Loz, what's up with Di Santo and Sinclair?
  6. Last weeks game was on Sky Sports.
  7. Can anyone remember the last time we played well when we've been on Setanta?
  8. Talk about winning ugly, that was winning lazy.
  9. Yeah and we all know from last season what happens when we get complacent.
  10. It wasn't a foul nor was it a dive, I think Anelka just anticipated a foul that never came.
  11. Ruddy hell we're making hard work of this. Bar Deco's freekick we just don't look at the races.
  12. Just watched the highlights on ITV, really disappointing performance but that wasn't a surprise, most of the starting 11 are assured of their place in the team and despite what they say to the media would rather not over stretch themselves in a friendly that's just one game into the Premier League season. I'd like to see the following team for the qualifiers, although I don't hold out much hope of it happening though. ------------------------------James Richards-------Ferdinand------------Terry----------A.Cole ------------------------------Barry --------------Gerrard-------------------Lampard Bentley-----------------------------------------------J.Cole -----------------------------Rooney It works for us and I see no reason why it couldn't work for England, as most of the players are used to playing a similar formation for their clubs.
  13. Great result and a fantastic team performance. Deco was class and a deserved Man of the Match, let's hope he can maintain it. I was impressed by was the way Deco and Bosingwa looked like they'd been at Chelsea for years.
  14. I'm sure plenty will agree with me that this a meaningless friendly, but in spite of this you'd hope for a little progressive thinking from Mr Capello, sadly this isn't the case, the goal machine that is Emile Heskey has been recalled to the squad!!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/7554604.stm
  15. Good point, I reckon the board should have requested that he make a large donation to a drugs charity as we don't need the money and it would be pretty decent PR to boot.
  16. I reckon it's going to be Robinho and we'll have paid a fortune for him.
  17. Shocking game and shocking penalties by Pompey. I think it's about time they did away with the Community Shield, both teams (bar Tevez) didn't appear that interested. I'd like to see something like the NBA All Star Game, get all the fans to vote for their favourite players at the end of the season and have a North vs South game.
  18. An absolute corker of a film. As simple as that.
  19. I'm afraid to say that you're both wrong, this is the funniest. Closely followed by this.
  20. Heard this on 5Live on the way home, they also tacked on that Lamps is asking for a 4 year contract at £150k a week.
  21. Scolari reckons Lamps want's to stay (doesn't say for how long though). Anybody for an over stocked midfield?!? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/7495211.stm
  22. We should sign him up just so she comes to the Bridge. She looks right filthy. Yowzer!
