EdinburghBlue, get this straight once and for all. Untill we have such politics for managers, no one will develop and integrate youth into first team. Won`t happen, whatever the manager name is.
Also you can put 6-7 academy players, only in fifa, otherwise, result will be a worst then City.
Appoint Lamps or Terry, they will failed hard and it will be less then 6 months period, before getting sacked.
I don`t want that to happen to legend like them.

City still have better player then us in Guardiola first season. And if you forget, it was Conte first season. City was in the CL, because they have good enough team. Guardiola spend big from his very first season. And if we talk about striker, they still have the better one in Aguero side.

So the right comparison is to compare the same period. So Conte first year and Sarri first year.
Conte also need time, simply because he wanted to play totally different football and system.
He also take hits, but manage to change things arround, made 4-5 changes in the squad and turns the season into winning one.
 
The second Conte season is irrelevant comparison to anything, simply because it was a well known he is gone from the very begining.
Huge mess with the board, not getting what he wanted, constant s**** with boards and the player.
As far as i recall most of you was saying that Sarri don`t care about transfer and new players, he was simply that good, he simply improve his squad.

I respect you keep your opinion, and i stood by Sarri side, because it`s not his fault, he didn`t get enough players, he was not appointed as a manager at the right time, he missed the pre season and has to work with unmotivated, washed player that still think their the best and live in their fantasy world.
Right now Chelsea is a nightmare for anyone with this blind and distance owner, as well as the board and player power.
Our player have so high self-esteem, it`s just not real. As i said they live in a fantasy world.

And to be fair if we talk about fully attacking football, only Guardiola is real quality. Tuchel, Sarri, Emeri are not that quality. Far behind.
There is a lot better lets said counter-attacking mided coaches out there.
Like Max Alegri for example. Even Zidane in Real Madrid with all this good player, didn`t play dominating possession football. He was relying on fast pace counter attacking football. He did plenty of win against big side like that. Even vs Atletico on the CL finals he play like that. But the class of player there was different.
You don`t need 80% ball possession to play good and eye pleasing football. That is completely wrong.
Ancelotti first season and Conte first season to me was the perfect football we play.
With Conte we scored a lot of goals, we wasn`t not in defensive position for the most of time, unlike with Jose, who goes totally off the bar with defese.
We played great in Conte first season, scored a lot of goals, second season was bad, due to a lot of issue, and everyone already knows them.

3 months into the new managers tenure, again “Sack sack sack. Need new manager.”

The world has people with large motivation who are trying hard everyday to bring food on the table, yet these Divas cant be motivated by millions of dollars a year? If that wont motivate them, sell them off to China where they can relax and get paid.

Sarri message is, this player is very hard to motivate. He didn`t say he can`t motivate players. He obviously mean there is certian number of players in our team, that simply are done, washed out and can`t be motivated.
What more motivation you will need, then 5 to 10 million salary(some even earn more), to play at CL, and to fight for trophy.
After last season this players should have shown to the club, to the new manager, to the fans, to all arround the world, that they still got it.
So an excuse someone have to mativated it`s dumb as hell and shouldn`t be working.
Yet some of you are catching for this.
 
ForeverCarefree, you understand that the exactly same people that now criticize Sarri, was the same people that want Conte to be sacked and Sarri to replace him and was swear at Sarri and how he is and how beautiful hes football is.

This is not someone with knowing in the game. This is people who live to criticize and making how much they know about football in a football forum, and pretend to know better then world paid manager ...
I`m not a fan of Sarri, but the situation he was put in, was terrible. Worst thing to do is to miss completely the pre-season , it`s one of the most important thing for a new manager, who have to put and new style to play.
While i can see board fix some of their previous mistake and allow Sarri to bring players he likes, obviously Jorginho, and now Higuain, but it`s too little too late.  And they messed with the pre-season big time.
I was strongly against Higuain, but if it`s a manager choice, i won`t say a s***.
Whether or not Sarri is the right man for Chelsea, he need his time. This is not some Video game and with magic stick to fix all for a no time.
Liverpool are where they are now, because they choose the right manager, and they believe in him and backed him up all they could. And the results are clear.
The most important thing is to choose the right guy for the job and to support him through all.
 
The year is 2019, sacking manager so fast is no longer the good thing to do. You can`t compare 2019 to 2008 or 2009.

Isn`t that something most of people here do, last season. After a good result, they goes into hidding, after a lose, everyone goes on manager thread or match thread and starting to cry, how Conte didn`t choose the best player to start, how he doesn`t know how to play properly football. How he`s substitute sucks. How we play terible football. How he lose the dressroom and can`t motivate the players.
Now year later it`s exacty the same from most of you. Sack the manager, he always choose wrong 11, he made late subs and same b.c. over and over again.

Did i come after a bad result to flame the manager and want him sacked ? Did i ever do that ? We started strong, this season, was so happy, everything was going allright, then after a few bad result, here is like an armageddon.
So no it`s not me that i come after lose, to show how much i understand football. It`s some of you.
They always shows after a lose, they are waiting for that, to shows us how much they know of football, and you see to show us how little our manager knows of football.
Typical fans of nowdays, that when everything is okay are very quiet, but after few loses, they come to the front row and start saying how this manager isn`t good enough, he can`t choose his best player, he can`t even make subs, he need to be sacked and so on.
That`s what they live for.  They just wait for bad result to come in front row and shows us all how much they understand the game.
If you understand so much, why you are here ? It`s fun top manager, who earn millions, to be called such fun things, like they don`t understand the game, or don`t know to choose their best team or to know to make a subs.

As far as for the team. I said it long ago. That this players are unmotivated and are long pass it. You can`t do a **** about that. Sarri say it in the press. Not he, not anyone can motivate this player.
Most of them should have been changed years ago.
BTW to all people who are calling for sack, who exactly will be the manager, that will want to come to us ?
Mourinho ? But few years ago you wanted him to be sacked as well.
 
And just see some guy moaning the Sarri said he can`t motivate this players, or they can`t be motivated. It`s the second thing arround. The problem is not in the Sarri. The same players, shows they can`t be motivated in 3 different manager, so the problem is not the manager but the players.
The problem even starts where you need to motivate your players. Most of them earn more then 6 millions/year that should be enough motivation and to wear the shirt of Chelsea.
In what exactly world we live, that there is a ton of peoples, that go outside to play football, and give 100% of them, and doing it for fun and earn nothing from that, year profesional players earns million of pounds need to be extra motivated .... It`s pathetic.
If managers like Conte and Jose can`t motivate this group of players, no one can. Both of this managers are great motivators.  Also Napoli under Sarri played with great mood in their games, so i don`t think it`s Sarri problem with the motivation. It`s player problem.
I said it before in this team have players that think they are above managers and should have been gone long ago. They was obviously doing sh** under some of our manager before and decide to not give 100% for the team, but to do s****, we get bad results and manager get sacked.
Such players are tumor for a team. Sooner or later they will won`t like something and will stop playing again, yet sack another manager.
This behaviour is also because of the board.
 
 

@yorkleyblue I daren't tell you the way I was feeling yesterday after that result, I didn't even bother coming on the forum because I know I'd only regret it. 

I'd advise others to do the same, it's hard to take a loss like that and keep a calm head. However, if you think Sarri should be sacked after that even now I think the issue is with people like you, the fans need to back the gaffer, it doesn't help when we've got a trigger happy board as it is, it definitely doesn't help when the fanbase want a manager sacking in his first season after one terrible defeat.
