jaffaboy got a reaction from alchemist in Everton vs Chelsea (PL) Saturday 21st March 17:30 GMTIt must be time for Blueco to realise the common denominator to this shambles is the sporting directors - harder to get rid of blueco and players no one wants - lets get rid of those sporting directors who have been paid handsomely to ruin the club

The current manager is a problem because he is clearly not up to the job. That being said he is just one of many problems. We could bring in a new manager, but assuming it will be picked by the same clowns we will likely end up with the same end product. We need to get rid of the SD's and have somebody take the keys aways from Eghbali who is one of the biggest issues.
Then I think the owners would need to re-establish some connections with the fans by hiring some people with football knowledge/experience and some connections to the club. For example, Cesc as Manager and Cech back as Director. Sadly I don't see this happening.

jaffaboy reacted to forbzy in Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*Owners should admit their mistake, scrap the SD's and bring in an interim with some experience over international break.

All of this could have been avoided if the owners actually respected Tuchel and let him do the coaching and have a say on potential signings.
I mean how hard can it be. Tuchel doesn’t have to choose the players. They can do a shortlist themselves and talk it out with Tuchel.
It’s like they didn’t realise Tuchel was one of the hottest managers in Europe at the time and we were lucky to have him.
They’ve properly messed it up for themselves. Dug a massive hole and it will take alot to get out of it. Idiots.

I have no actualy animosity towards LR. He is just totally out of his depth and should never have been appointed. If there is any animosity it should be directed at Clearlake and the SD's.

jaffaboy got a reaction from Dr. Socrates in Nicolas Jackson - strikerThe sporting directors have had a lot of kudos this window. But every time I heard Maresca talk about only needing two strikers, I was bemused.
This is down to more not joined up squad building. Remember we were not even intending to sign a striker. If Delap had got injured tomorrow instead of Saturday, where would we be?
Our sporting directors are really quite embarrassing in how they stomp around world football tarnishing the brand. That’s probably fine if they are delivering great outcomes. But are they? I guess they would say “world champions mate”. That’s fair enough but it feels like another season with a squad of imbalanced quality and another clown show of a last 72 hours of the window.

Fire that idiot. Can’t stand Maresca. Everything about him annoys me.

jaffaboy got a reaction from AlienX in Next Manager OddsI know all the reasons not to like him but Emery has done an amazing job. But why would he ever sell his soul to work with the 🤡 that own our club and their 🤡 sporting directors.

jaffaboy got a reaction from Frankfurter in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*Yes but their body language suggests something different to what they are saying
Everyone should be pulling in same direction but these owners seem to think just telling people things and emotionally blackmailing fans will make us believe in their project, their dunce sporting directors and their z-list manager.
They do not understand football fans. They just don’t. And for that reason, I worry you are right. Another dismissal makes them and the SDs look bad. And I just don’t see them admitting that mistake.

jaffaboy reacted to Zeta in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCIf you can say anything about this ownership, they've certainly caused more friction amongst the fanbase than any other ownership or manager I can remember. The forum has never been as angry and had as much in-fighting. We are all letting these clowns get between us as a fanbase. We should be united in trying to get these people out.

I was thinking about this too and yea he would never have been there under Roman, but if he was, he’d of long gone with the anti-fan interview! He would’ve sacked him walking out that presser!
I think Maresca had lost the players, and now he’s definitely burnt all bridges with the fans!
Working under that board must be a nightmare! Poch done 5 years under Levy, but lost his sh*t after 10 months with this mob!
People say we’ll keep Maresca as he fits their ‘project’ (what even is that) but I’d put a big wager on that he’ll be off before the club World Cup! This board like new shiny things too much to stick with him!
-
Season is pretty much over now. No way on earth we take more points than Newcastle, City, Villa, and Forest.
Season filled with terrible results and terrible performances.
Don't even blame Maresca, he was never good enough. Blame has to lie on the board who appointed these sporting directors, and set this "philosophy".
Can't see Maresca staying, fans have turned.

I’m actually moving over to maresca out now. Seen enough. His tactics are awful

jaffaboy reacted to alvarezCFC in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCSo let's make summary of what the Circus FC have done in just 3 years:
Spent over a Billion (mostly on players who will never play for us or are just utter sh*t)
4 coaches/Yes men
Changed the whole staff at the club (inc. the medical department and still had one of the worst injury crisis in football history ever!)
Mistreated players like Chilwell, Chalabolah, Gallagher etc.
ZERO top4 finishes
2 Seasons of no shirt sponsor
Ticket f**king touting from one of the owner! (Vivid Seats)
Only club in EPL with 2 SD-s/Clowns
Assembled the team with no logic (like 12 number two goalies / not buying any players for number 9 / hoarding the wings etc.)
Giving out long super long contracts to everyone (Potter and Mudryk ones are my favorites)
Scored a record-low 38 goals across the entire season in 23/24
Made FC have a new meaning...Financial club and even in that we suck!
Feel free to add to the list! I know there's loads of more but I'm just so fed up with this utter crap and the more I wrote the more the depression sank in!

jaffaboy reacted to Jezz in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCIt's days like today where you realise how lucky we were to have Roman as our owner.
Blue Co have ripped the soul out of the club. We're a shadow of ourselves.

jaffaboy reacted to Malcolm9 in Maresca out? (Feb)I'm am fully in on Maresca out. We look absolutely clueless right now, and it's his inability to use the squad correctly, along with the same sterile tactics.
-
jaffaboy reacted to yaz in Maresca out? (Feb)Maresca is out of his depth. He's one dimensional, and doesn't help himself by not playing to the strengths of the players he has.
To top it all off, he implicitly and explicitly allowed mediocrity to settle in the squad. Implicitly by persisting with the underperforming players week in week out, and explicitly by straight up coming out and saying that finishing top 4 and competing aren't part of his objectives.
As bad as all of this sounds... Who the hell are the muppets who put him in charge going to bring in instead? Most likely another low tier manager no one has ever heard of.
I wouldn't want the club to sign or sack anyone, players or managers, until they decide to change course.
I'm honestly glad we didn't sign a striker, because I know we would have gotten some 19 year old no one had ever heard of. They did just that for midfield, and would have done the same for CB.
Do a 180 on the failed project, or just stick to what you already have. Trying to start again from scratch with an inexperienced manager and a new pack of teenagers is the definition of insanity.

jaffaboy got a reaction from WhiteWall in Premature AdjudicationI think if you don’t want to win in the FA cup (which of course is a route to Europe), put out a clearly “b” team augmented by youngsters. On the basis we did not do that, it’s hard to now argue we just weren’t motivated or trying.
Brighton were better team on Saturday and will be better team again this weekend because (nkunku / Jackson aside) our players will likely not change and nor will our tactics.
I am going for Brighton win and this forum being an unhappy place. I would like to think it would lead to boardroom scrutiny of maresca but I prefer to keep my predictions grounded in reality!!

He has single handedly created this mess...
1) By dividing the team into us vs them. A vs b squads.
2) Alienating players who have unsurprisingly been seemingly desperate to leave (Veiga, Nkunku, Felix, Chukky, Chilly). It is not a surprise that these wanted out, given the frankly disgusting and disrespectful way they have been treated. I put Trev into this bracket too...
3) Continuing to player players who have been absolutely awful for a prolonged period. The Donkey, Sanchez, Disaster - all getting regular game time, despite never putting in a performance to justify it.
4) Playing players in positions that dont optimise their skills, for the sake of his "principles". Palmer in the middle, has meant there is no space for Chris or Felix, Gusto is hopelessly lost in the system, Enzo is a halfway house of attacking and defedning - with no clear instruction or USP, Noni, Neto and Sancho all flit in and out of the team without ever contributing on a consistent basis.
It was a simple solve. Drop Sanchez (now done). Drop Jackson. Move Palmer out wide. Play Guiu up front with Chris behind him. Felix coming in and doing a rotational job.
Now Felix has gone. Guiu is injured. Chris has checked out. Clusterf**k of a mess

Vibes were quite different back in May weren't they...
Gusto brilliant as an up and down fullback (sh*te now), Nkunku continuing to shine when he was available (sh*te now)
We finally had something to build on with multiple players developing at rapid speed (Gusto, Palmer, Cucurella, Gallagher, Caicedo, Madueke etc) and they ripped it up again to hire someone who's taking us backwards to Potter-ball and in a fast way too!
Absolute shambles.
There's literally zero players who's developed in the right direction since last season and a whole host who's regressed. And thats on the manager so either he gets his act together in a hurry or he's got to go.
