Our players never worked for anything this season, they're the laziest group of players in the league. Any time it got tough, they all went hiding. Any time the situation demanded they step up their game, they stopped running. Maresca left and instead of trying to grow up and guide the team themselves like many Chelsea teams have done in the past, they just shat themselves and gave up. His work rate is abysmal. When he was at his best and he received the ball, he was always trying his hardest to make something happen. Palmer should not be going to the World Cup. He has been abysmal. It was ludicrous that MGW did not get in the last squad. He should be a shoe in. You had McFarlane saying in the pre-match conference that Palmer can see things that other people don't and he believes he can play a starring role in the WC. Newsflash, why are we not seeing this then, because he has been stinking out the place for a while and also with his current form, what makes people think he will be taken to the World Cup.
