Ive been saying this for a while, you cant play Lampard with Mikel, Frank just leaves far too much space for Mikel to cover. If your going to play someone with Mikel your best going with Meireles, look at the 2 of them last week, and Meireles can spread the ball about quickly to set up a counter attack whereas Lampard is just far to slow on the ball and usually ruins our counter attacks.

Mikel and Meireles always play well together when Lampard is not playing, they complement each other. Few games we had last season when Frank was dropped, we had Mikel Meireles Romeu Mata and played some lovely football (Swansea game sticks out the most)
