I'll always appreciate what Conte did for us last season but in all honestly he needs to go in the Summer. Conte quite clearly doesn't want to be here anymore, the passion from last season is gone, he's moaned his way through the season and his the relationship with the board has appeared to have broken down. He also failed to actually commit his future when he signed a new contract as it wasn't even an extension I've said this multiple times but we need to change our direction as a football club, we need to slowly build a team, a philosophy, integrate youth and create an identity, Conte is someone who want's to win at all costs like Mourinho who will focus on the present and not the actual future. With a new stadium being built, FFP and Roman tightening the purse strings we simply can't afford to spend large sums of money to help us reach instant success Also I'm getting tired of this style of football we've become accustomed to, it's slow, pragmatic and defensive. Our youth teams generally play a more open attacking style of play so surely our first team should as well? I feel Martial is quite underrated right now which is fair enough because he has been underwhelming for Utd In my honest opinion in the right setup under the right manager Martial could be an absolute world beater, I don't feel there's a huge difference in quality between Mbappe and Martial. We wouldn't even need to spend money to replace Drinkwater, just call back MVG from his loan at PSV Actually, we should never have even bought DD in the first place when we had players like MVG already with us This was our major problem last Summer. We loaned or sold our talented young players and then spent big money on replacing them with average players. We spent around 100 million on the likes of Zappacosta, Bakayoko and DD when we could have kept the likes of Chalobah, MVG, RLC and Ola Aina and used that 100 million to buy 1-2 top class players Also I know some people say our young players had to go out on loan as they needed first team football but if we actually showed some faith in them they would have got plenty of minutes. Zappacosta played over 30 games this season, Bakayoko has played 40 and Drinkwater has played over 20 games in a injury hit season. Those minutes could have gone to the likes of Ola Aina, Chalobah, RLC and MVG.

Diego Costa is just a pure cold blooded killer in front of goal, he's not amazingly fast and not amazingly skilful but he's absolutely ruthless

Feel you've basically nailed this I'd like to see RLC in the role Hamsik currently plays for Napoli, I feel he'd eventually thrive in that position, Barkley would be decent backup We really wouldn't need a complete overhaul to our side. I'd be mainly looking for a deep lying playmaker and another attacker, also if Koulibaly becomes available then I feel we'd need to take a serious look at him One of the thing that excites me most about Sarri is the effect he could have on Hazard. While Hazard has been exceptional for us since he joined every Chelsea fan feels he could do more, Sarri could be that manager that helps elevate him to being one of the best attackers in the world

In all honestly it's extremely unlikely Conte will be with us next season and from reports in the media it appears we'll be looking to change our playing philosophy. The majority of managers we have been linked with are mostly attack minded in their approach You're right though that in a system like ours or Utd's it would be a waste to play Martial as a CF

In the right setup I feel Martial would thrive as a striker. In a Mourinho or Conte team he'd be absolutely lost up top but in a Sarri or Jardim team he'd thrive like Dries Mertens has for Napoli and Mbappe did for Monaco If this does happen and we also keep hold of Hazard under a manager like Tuchel, Jardim, Sarri or even Enrique those two could be absolutely relentless

Few people mention the fact that Sarri hasn't won anything and it's a fair point, the same applies to the likes of Jardim and Tuchel who have barely won anything The thing is, do we really want another manager in the mould of Conte and Mourinho? Managers that have a win at all costs mentality, where youth players barely get given opportunities and aiming for short term success instead of sacrificing it for long term success? We seriously need to plan long term now, we can't blow teams out of the water with our spending, we can't always buy ourselves out of trouble, we have a stadium to pay for and we have one of the best academies in world football. We need a change of direction, we need a manager who will be happy to lay foundations, slowly build a team, create an identity and integrate our talented youth players Yes we may go a couple of seasons without a major title but the long term gains will be worth it

They only spent around 20 million on new players this season He took a team that had finished 5th and turned them into title challengers playing insanely good football, he also lost one of his best players in Higuain yet still kept Napoli in contention I'd love to see what he'd be able to do with more money and better players. He turned the likes of Insigne and Mertens into two of the most feared attackers in Italy, imagine what he could do with someone like Hazard

I just don't feel it's worth going after Zaha, he's going to cost a ton of money and there will probably be better players that are better or just as good for less. He's 25 now and has never scored more than 9 goals in a season in his career I feel Bailey makes a lot of sense, he's left footed and is capable of playing on either side, he's only 20 years old and has been ripping some defences apart in Germany plus he's not likely to cost insane money if reports are true From what I've seen he's also apparently a Chelsea fan which is always a bonus

Also I'd much rather us develop and integrate Hudson-Odoi into the team then spend stupid money on someone like Zaha. He's not as good as Willian and isn't close to Hazard. At 25 he isn't going to get much better I'm all for signing a new attacking player but I'd much prefer someone younger with lots of potential like Bailey or Malcom Hazard, Willian, Bailey/Malcom and Hudson-Odoi would be a great set of options for attacking mkidfield. You'd then have the likes of Barkley and RLC to battle it out for the CM/AM spot

I would be wanting to keep Cesc around. He's still one of the best passers in the world and could be a very important asset coming on from the bench. He's seems very settled here and has never relied on pace, he also brings with him a ridiculous amount of experience If he's happy being more of a rotation option then I'd happily keep him around for a few more years. Not many players are capable of his passing ability and in games where we are chasing or looking to gain more control he would be a fantastic option to bring on
