  1. Apparently it's £3.5m, rising to a possible £6.5m based on appearances for us and the senior England team. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/ja...manchester-city
  2. kibz replied to yazoola's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
Suarez plays more of a winger for Ajax though doesn't he. ..and we don't even play with wingers!
  3. who is in the list of 18? and where did you get the information from? cheers
  4. I meant the only regulars who are being given a rest and not in the squad. Obviously the players who are injured (Alex, Sturridge, Ferreira?) won't be playing. Apologies.
  5. I think he said he'd pulled his hamstring, not sure how seriously though
  6. I think listening to what Wilkins was saying, Zhirkov will be playing in midfield, and will be backup for cole. From what was said, I'm thinking lineup will be something on the lines of: ----------------Cech---------------- Belletti---Ivanovic---Terry---Cole ------Essien---Mikel---Zhirkov---- ------------Cole---Lampard------- ----------------Kalou--------------
  7. Just watched the press conference with Ray Wilkins, and the standout points were: • Drogba will be playing on saturday • Cole and Zhirkov will be starting tomorrow • Sturridge is injured • The only players not in the squad tomorrow are Anelka, Carvalho and Bosingwa (and Drogba obviously) Also, when he was asked about the possibility of Borini, Bruma etc playing tomorrow, he said that we have a big squad, and as we progress in the league cup, they will get their chance. So doesn't look like the youngsters will be playing tomorrow, but hopefull will later on in the season.
  8. I really don't think we're going to be getting anybody today. Although, I think after the shambles of what happened last year, even if we did have a deal being lined up, we wouldn't find out about it until it's a done deal.
  9. Ribery may be on his way then.
  10. Reports from Germany is that Bayern Munich are closing in on the transfer for Robben. Does this mean Ribery is on his way?
  11. He isn't going anywhere. SKY SPORTS: Aguero happy to stay put Blues target rules out move Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero has ruled out a move away from the club before the close of the transfer window. Chelsea have been strongly linked with a swoop for the Argentina international as they look to make a marquee signing. However, Aguero's appearance for Atletico in their Champions League play-off against Panathinaikos looks set to end Chelsea's pursuit of the striker in this transfer window as he is now cup-tied for European competition. Aguero, who scored in the 3-2 win over Panathinaikos, insists he always wanted to stay at Atletico and hopes the speculation over his future will now end. "I've always said I wanted to stay at Atletico and this is what has happened," said Aguero. "I am very happy for the goal, but especially for the triumph."
  12. Sky Sports: Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro on a permanent basis after he impressed during a loan spell with the German club last season. Not sure how much for though.
  13. On the Sky Sports website: 'Sergio Aguero has travelled to Greece with Atletico Madrid after the club rejected rumours he could be sold to Chelsea.'
  14. Scott Sinclair gone to Wigan on a season long loan according to Sky Sports
  15. Just been confirmed by Milan. Would Pato now become available? Or is he being bought in to play alongside Pato?
  16. Does anybody know when the Community Shield tickets go on sale?
  17. where did you get this information from?
  18. HAR HAR HAR! Chelsea winger Sinclair on way to Bristol City Chelsea are ready to sell Scott Sinclair this summer. The Sun says Chelsea are ready to accept Bristol City's £15 million offer for Sinclair. http://www.tribalfootball.com/chelsea-wing...tol-city-251266
  19. it looks like the reason this friendly has been set up is due to the fact that Brendan Rodgers is being announced as the new Reading manager very soon.
  20. Maybe ancelotti is looking to play 2 up front. That way if we ended up with 4 or 5 strikers, they wouldn't all be competing for the lone striker role, there'll be 2 positions up for grabs. And with drogba off to the ANC, we probably would need that many strikers (this is assuming that he will want to play 2 up front).
  21. What style of football does Ancelotti favour? Are we gonna be the solid, tight at the back Chelsea a la mourinho, or are we gonna be playing the attacking sexy football that Mr Abramovic craves? What formations has he been known to favour at Milan? Do you think we will be going 442 or sticking with the 433? any ideas?
  22. Hi, I just wondered if anybody on here has the 1985 (year I was born) home shirt, that they would be interested in selling, or know anywhere where I'd be able to get hold of one. Preferably in a small, but any size would do. This is the one... Thanks
  23. He got a hat-trick last night in the UEFA cup Suppose it was only against Nancy, but still.. two of 'em right good goals from 25 yards out Wasn't he linked with Everton in the summer though? Not sure he'll be Chelsea standard.
